[Kurosaki Isshin]

Isshin seemed to have so much swirlng round in his mind recently that he had to find some escape. Usually he just put it to the back of his mind and pushed on through ife without ever having to worry about to much he just contiued to be a dad to his 2 children he knew they would always depend on him not now they were all grow up the didnt need him so much, well not Ichigo the guy seemed to of matured quickly because of the responsibilities he now had and his daughters were 14 this year but thankfully those two hadnt been exposed to much to the world of shinigami or should he say more the real world and how it truly is.

Isshin sat at a desk in the library a bunch of books all spread out on the table as if he couldnt make up his mind what one to read or more he was looking for something and had to go though all thse books to find what he needed. That and of course the fact it as so peaceful an calm in a library had drawn him here. An scape sounded too good to be true but it seemed Isshin was going to have to come clean about a few home truth's about the family known as the Kurosaki's he had not lied but more waited until the time was right he knew when Ichigo was just 9 and lost his mother that this kid would grow up and on day start asking questons, lots of quetions the more he was exposed to other shinigami and Soul Society and even enemies the more information his son would gather up in his mind before he came looking for Isshin demanding answers, and he had a feeling that could come soon.

With another letter arriving at home today she figured she might as well look at these universities and see which offered what courses and if any grabbed her attention at all. Sadly though Ana had no idea what she wanted to do, what could she study, well with the grades she'd gotten she knew she could do whatever the hell she wanted but what was it she really wanted to do? She had no idea. She'd explored the halls of books for a bit before plucking a few off about the universities around. In all honesty she had been looking at a university in London and one in France too but she was uncertain on any of that. This year she would do what she wanted, no school, have some fun and work a bit... fun though seemed like it would have to wait with the most recents events at hand. Of course if she recalled the date right fun would be had soon enough, it was Ichigo's birthday soon right, shortly after her own if she remembered correctly. He liked to celebrate his birthday yea? Well he would be 18 something had to be done for it. With her books in hand she looked for a table to sit down her head peering over her books before sensing something which caused her brow to crease as she tried to find the source before spotting a table of books and smiled heading over putting her own books down. It seemed like awhile since she had seen Isshin but there he was, it seemed the comos were throwing the chance at her as she sat down. "Hello Kurosaki Isshin... you have a lot of books..." she added looking over some of the spines and then back to him folding her hands on the table "I'm glad I've run into you I wanted to talk to you about something" she stated before leaning over the table a little "What have you got planned for Ichigo's birthday?" she whispered as if he was lurking around somewhere.

Isshin scanned the table for any other books he had missed ''Nope...nope..nope...ah'' he began as he looked from one book to another before he spotted one he hadnt yet read through. Picking it up he hid his head into the book eyes narrowed as he scaned the pages, nope, more useles information he thought before he heard a ligt feminine voice speaking his name ''Huh?'' he began as he lowered the book and raised his eyebrows at the sight of Ana he slowly smiled. ''Ah Ana! its really good to see you'' he said as he set the book down on the table.

It had been quite some time before he had last saw this face around the time that all his business had started up and time had passed since then a a new school year was taking place too. He remembered all teh chats he had with Ana she was a good listener he thought and he could see what a bright and good hearted girl she was, she had been familar with the Kurosaki family for a couple of years even helped ou in his own Clinic and happened to be a good trusted friend of his son. He was glad Ichigo had a friend like her, in fact most of his friends were all there for him because he knew at this time surrounding yourself with trustworthy friends was highly beneficial.

''So how have you been lately?'' Isshin asked her as he leant back in his seat before she had leaned forwards asking about a certain someone's birthday. 'Ah..'' he smrked a tiny bit ''Its in a few days...he usually doest doanythng for his brithdays but 18 is a milestone...perhaps we can get everyone together at our place'' he smiled. ''Come to mention i i havent seen him all day...ill have to use the opportunity to plan some things'' added.

I trust you have been doing well?” this meant she didn’t have to hunt Isshin down later on to ask him about Ichigo’s 18th, she did not want to do anything that might interfere with any other plans and it had to be something Ichigo himself would want too, it was his birthday party after all. “I’m very concerned” Ana said pulling some hair behind her ear before she paused, freezing on the spot blinking a few times, did Isshin know about Soul Society yet? He would yea, Urahara would have told him or Ichigo, right? Sitting down she asked about Ichigo’s birthday. "Oh, throw a big party at your place... that could work... oh, wait... what if you get some clients come in?" that wouldn't be much fun then would it, no perhaps no one would come needing help at the clinic, then again it is a clinic. She thought for a moment. "Yes I don't for mine either... whatever the family does I play along with it but 18 is a big step... you only turn it once after all... something really spectacular that he’ll never forget… oh let me jot all this down” she said quickly digging into her small bag and pulled out her notepad and pen flipping it to a blank page and wrote down some idea’s so far. “He likes junk food doesn’t he?” she asked making a small face if she recalled he always liked having junk food when they grabbed a bite to eat which was not often they were either sneaking off to another realm, beating the crap out of one another or a hollow, hopefully he was chilling with his friends today and not worrying about everything too much.

Isshin leaned forwards and rested an elbow on the table his chin in his hand ''Im well...we all are...well im speaking on their behalf but i still have my concerns for Ichigo...he's always out not where i can watch him anway'' he began. ''But its time i had a little chat with him'' he said. He had a fear that zero dvision may contact him .''I must talk to him..before his birthday im hoping because it may dampen his sprits or confuse him further..im hoping he can enjoy hs birthday with nothing bad hanging over him'' he sighed as he moved some books into a pile so it lookd more neater he did lke things neat.

His eyes drew back to Ana as she raised her concerns what of he didnt know but he gathered it could be about th terrible sitution Soul Society currently were in. 'Ah yes...i understand...im guessing because of all thats being going on its quite frightening the lives of everyone still hangs in the balance until we no what were dealing with here...'' he said as he frowned a little before he looked up at Ana 'Dont worry...everything will be fine' he tied reassuring her.

He had always wanted to give the best for Ichigo, Karin and Yuzu and try and make their lives more human and less of a whirlwind of events. Isshin gave up his shinigami status so he could give his family his full attention but things always creeped back to haunt him. ''I can get cover for the clinic..sholdnt be too much of a problem...but it will be nice to give im a surprise take all the hardships out and just enjoy ourselves'' he smiled gently.

He nodded when Ana mentioned Ichigo liking junk food a she took down som notes ''Oh a party planner are we'' he chuckled ''Yeah...all unhealthy stuff...how does he not get fat...'' he began but he frowed might hae something to do wit liestyle. ''But even if Ichgo sa he doesnt lie urprises or birthday parties he will be greatful i know that much'' he smiled.

Wait was whatever Isshin had to tell his son what Ukei knew, that stupid man kept trying to talk to Ichigo about his family but alas Ichigo kept telling him to shut up about it. She chewed her bottom lip for a moment before folding her arms on the table. “Does Ukei know what it is you’re keeping from Ichigo? You might want to find him and tell him to shut it before he lets it slip” she advised raising an eyebrow at Isshin. He remembered who Ukei was right because the guy had not shut up about Urahara and Isshin. So long as it was not something Ana had to keep a secret, she hated keeping secrets from Ichigo, she’d covered for Isshin once and she didn’t want to keep anything from Ichigo again about himself, the less she knew the better she felt… in this case at least. Was she wrong to think so? “Maybe tell him after his birthday, it’s only a few days away… let him enjoy his birthday and then tell him… or knowing Ichigo it’ll plagued his mind during his birthday” she said shaking her head, he was hopeless sometimes. Of course it was good news to hear Isshin did know what had happened as Ana let out a long sigh and leaned back in her chair as if some big weight had just been lifted from her shoulder “I’m glad you know because I don’t think I’d be able to keep it a secret from you for very long” she said. But she was worried about everyone, she had some friends who were Shinigami’s and she might not like all of them but she acknowledged that what they did was utterly important. She smiled a little though it did not look too convincing. “Suppose you are right, I have faith in all of us… I just hope Ukei can get his powers back” she said mumbling the last bit, she still felt guilty over that, dam fool had taken the fall for her. Letting out a long sigh she sat up again and got onto the topic of Ichigo’s party, they had to have some fun after all. “Great! Sounds like a plan then” she added tapping her pen on the paper for a moment. Ana laughed a little “I always plan my siblings parties… it’s come naturally and he better be.” she said all but glaring at her paper for a moment before her expression lightened “Yuzu cooks right… maybe she could make a cake? I’m sure Orihime can do decorations…” was probably best to keep her from cooking as she often did very strange things but decorating would allow her to be creative in another way “Oh we could make homemade pizza’s and sausage rolls and spring rolls and such? I can bring over some stuff early maybe and start cooking… just got to get someone to get Ichigo out of the house for a bit while we set everything up…” she added tapping her chin.

Isshin looked in sudden surprise when Ana spoke of Ukei he stared at her for a moment, how ddi she know of a zero divisioner? he panicked slightly but he knew Ukei wouldnt blab everything to Ana Ichigo he hoped ''Ukei...met Ichigo then...how did it go'' he said curious as t how his son was around Ukei. That guy knew plenty if he was from the division he knew more than enough to tell him and by Anas uggesting he watch out that Ukei didnt get to hm first he gathered he hadnt told him much, yet!

''He is aware of my past...and my present life..so he could tell him but i'd rather it be me...i am his father after all...i just dont want him to do a runner... i know what Ichigo's like...if he cant take a shock or cant handle something he'll run until he can get his had around it all...but yeah besti f after the party i do this'' he sighed. Who knows it could make him an even stronger person but he didnt want to do it at a time where Ichigo was vunrable but now he was alot stronger maybe he's surprise Isshin with how he could handle with things now.

''Yeah ive know since Urahara filled me in...that guy always does...its like he has a second sense into everything before i happened'' he smirked but something had to be done the enemy had leverage over Soul Society the could bargain with what they want in exchange for Yamamoto's life he just hoped it wouldnt get that far.

He smiled as Ana mentioned how she planned parties fro her siblings she seemed to be a devoting sisters to her siblings he guessed she must of been the oldest they usually took care of younger brother and sisters. ''Well you sound like you got it all worked out there...Yuzu's always cooking sure she wll jump at the chance when i tell her'' he nodded. They would need to get Ichigo out the way of course perhaps he could get Tatsuki to drag him to the dojo one last time he never backed down from a challenge so that was one way. ''Alright then...its all arranged 15th July we can forget all the madness just for a day'' he smiled before he stood and picked up the books taking them back to where he found them and returning to the table.

She swallowed, Urahara had already told the two off already. “Ichigo nearly brought a building down until I stopped him… Ukei really pissed him off… so I kicked him through a wall to shut him up and stop the two from killing one another” she said looking down and shrugged her shoulders a little before she looked up. There was no point in worrying Isshin right on Hueco Mundo or anything like that. She had not lied to him; she simply had not told him everything. “Well at least we found him last time he ran…” Ana said a little encouragingly. If Ichigo ran because of whatever secret Isshin was keeping from him then Ana would seriously knock some sense into Ichigo when she found him, starting by slapping him over the back of the head with a big thick book. Of course she was concerned, what was so big of a secret to have Ichigo run off or possibly run off. Ana made a mental note never to tell Urahara anything again, who knew what he told everyone or rather Isshin, how many things had he told him about Ichigo that Ichigo probably didn’t want his dad to know about, though Ana thought Ichigo could use some quality time with his father. He knew about his father now so that was one less secret between them, perhaps that in the open would bring them closer and with whatever secret he was presently keeping, when that came out hopefully Ichigo would go to his father about more things. He was lucky to still have a father after all. “Great” she added smiling and nodded her head putting her pen down before she made a small face thinking to herself as Isshin got up to put his books away, she was completely unaware of it as she started talking thinking he was sitting across from her “Crap… now I have to think of what to get him… what do you get an 18 year old guy… what have you guys gotten him?” she said in reference to his family, surely they’d gone and gotten him something right… or made him something, hey that’s what she could do… make him something, but what? Looking up she noticed he was not there as a sweet drop appeared on her face, dam it. Of course he quickly returned soon enough as she looked up at him “What were you looking for in those books anyway?” she asked curious, was it wrong to ask?

Isshin watched Ana carefully as she seemed to have a sudden realisation that he didn know where they had gone running off to Hueco Mundo with Ukei.''You ok?'' he laughed before his laughter came to an abrupt hault when he discovered Ichigo had nearly destroyed a building ''What!' he said his eyes widened ''If he does that again ill personally stop him'' Isshin sighed. But he smirked ever so slightly as she said he had been kickd though a wall to be shut up. 'Oh good...and did it shut im up?'' he wondered.

He had so wanted to spill all that he knew of Ichigo's exsistance it would be a huge weight of his shoulders but could well devestate Ichigo it would effect how he say himelf perhaps feel as if he had lived a lie so far but Ana was right even if Ichigo did run they would find him like they had last time. ''Yeah...i have a feeling all of his friends will see him differently after you all find out too...i dont want none to change their opinion on him he's a good kid it just was never meant to happen i had no choice...'' he lowered his head ''This has to stop...i cant keep lying to him anymore i promised my wife i'd tell him one day'' he shook his head a little. He took in a deep breath before he sighed ''You will all know soon but after his birthday is better timing'' he agreed.

He only knew about what his son and Ana got up to through Urahara like he was his spy almost. He and Urahara often spoke seeing as both of them are former captains and met in Soul Society. ''Oh he tells me plenty...you two are trouble when your together'' he grinned. ''Especially when you two go galevanting off to Hueco Mundo hmmm'' he suddenly said. 'Yes thats right i know about it! it was a stupid thing to do'he raised his eyebrows.

It was then that he stood up to return the books he had before appearing back in hs seat seeng Ana had gotten lost in her own thoughts. ''Ill make sure to get Ichigo out the house then....i may even take him out myself...i havent really spent time with my son as much as i should'' he began. He the stood up again ''Take a walk with me Ana'' he asked her as he remained standign waiting for her answer. She had then asked him aboout the books he had been reading there was a pause before he spoke. ''Cloning, scietific studies that sort of thing'' he replied before he gestured her to flow him ashe walked exiting the library into the warmth of the sun outside.

Ana though laughed to herself “For a bit it did, he calmed down after that, they both did.” She was not sure what he was talking about but she did not like it very much as she frowned slightly, eyes focussed on Isshin. “Why would I change my opinion on Ichigo… he’s always going to be Ichigo. I might learn something new about him but in the end he will still be Ichigo and my friend.” she laughed a little and shook her head “I’ve seen him in full blown Hollow form before… it can’t possibly be worse than that… right?” she stated actually enquiring, because if it was worse than that then yes she had a very good reason to worry about Ichigo but he had passed his Hollow and learnt to control it, he would be able to do the same with whatever Isshin was hiding from him. “You really are keeping something big from him aren’t you” she said concerned not really asking a question but she was worried none the less, if Isshin was making it out to be this big then how would Ichigo really handle it. Of course Ichigo might not tell them, he didn’t tell Ana a lot of things which was ok she just wished he’d open up more but Ichigo was Ichigo. Ana laughed a little; it was true though her and Ichigo got into all sort of trouble just about 99% of the time. “It makes the friendship interesting I find” she added, not to mention it was one of the few times they actually did what the other said, normally because it meant life and death but when fighting their enemies if they worked together they could be rather dangerous indeed. Of course her smile faded a little when Isshin gave her ‘the speech’ a short version but one none the less as she bit her bottom lip and sigh looking down, slumping forwards a little like you’d expect a child to do when trying to hide from something. “Yea that was my fault, I take responsibility for that” she said, she had been the one to open the portal up, if she had said no then Ichigo and Ukei would have had to have gone to Urahara but how could Ana have said no when her friend needed help and after learning about Yamamoto’s disappearance she had to help. At least they had not dragged anyone else with them right. “Sorry… I’ll… try not to do it again” she added looking to Isshin being rather serious. While she would try she would not promise anything. As he left she thought to herself before Isshin’s voice distracted her and she blinked nodding her head “Sounds like a plan there” she added with a small smile. Why wouldn’t Ichigo not want to spend time with his dad, he was a great guy, Ichigo should be grateful to have a dad like Isshin, even if he was a bit strange at times. As Isshin asked her to go for a walk she simply nodded her head and as he started to walk off she quickly gathered her things and put the books onto a nearby trolley, she’d come get them another day, that way she didn’t have the lug them around. Hurrying after him she tilted her head to the side, cloning. “Isn’t cloning really tricky? What are you planning on cloning or is it out of pure interest?” she enquired shutting the door behind them and pulled her sunglasses out. “The one thing I love about summer is all the sunlight” she added as she looked up to the sky and then to Isshin “So where we headed?”
