[Shoshi Ana]

Was there a heaven? Ah, hmm Ana had to think about it would you call Soul Society heaven? She wasn't sure really, everyone visioned heaven differently if they believed in such a thing that was. "Well I suppose you could call it heaven" Ana added before smiling a little right Hell, she should have seen that one coming. "Yes there is a hell. Though one has to do something extremely sinful to end up there and I don't know what it's like I've never been to hell... I assume its lonely though, a scary place" she shrugged her shoulders she could not say much on Hell. Ana knew of it but not much about it.

"I'm sure it's fine" she called out to the lady as she walked up the stairs though Ana was unsure herself. Ana nodded her head when she stood by Ichigo. Yea she saw it, she could try get through the force as she raised a hand a blue light emitting from her fingers as a shield rested on her palm. She went to move forwards when they suddenly said a Quincy and she froze. "What?" she gasped, why would a Quincy do this?

Ana had no idea why a Quincy would do this is unnerved her, maybe they should try get a hold of Uryu? Though Ana quickly snapped from her thoughts "Right" she said and placed her hand on the force around the spirits pressing her hand further expanding her shield hoping it might break through the force. If it was a Quincy though could they consume the reiatsu she was now applying, but if the Quincy wasn't here then she doubted it still she wanted to see what would happen so she pressed harder narrowing her eyes "Come on" she mumbled.

The woman wondered what Soul Society was, she never heard of it or seen it but it was where these ghosts would be sent to, so it must be heaven so she thought. ''Sorry...you must get this from all the people you help'' she said. So there was a hell and understandable it wasnt a nice place she preyed she wouldn't end up there. Ichigo had been to hell not because he had sinned but because he had to retrieve his sister it brought out his hollow and it was a distinctively grim place he remembered. But like Ana had said it would be for something extremely sinister that a person did to go there.

Ichigo couldn't work it out Quincies actively coming to a certain house to stopped Konso's ''Wait, are quincies doing this so Shinigami cant get to souls?'' he said he knew Quincies didn't agree with the law Shinigami abided by and would rather destroy souls that let them pass into Soul Society. ''There are hardly any Quincy left...so is this just one or two?'' he questioned. Ichigo watched Ana as she tried to use her shield ''Be careful...they could have set something up here'' he warned her but they had to try something to get ridof these increasing ghosts.Too many in one area could draw a huge group of hollows it proably had done in the past he wondered if the woman had witnessed any hollows.

The ghosts huddled as Ana's shild came into contact with the barrier, it flickered a couple of times before a huge crack split through the middle of it. After a moment the whole thing shattered like glass causing the woman to stand and head to the bottom of her stairs ''Was that glass?'' she called up. The shattered barrier had obviously alarmed something because Ichigo could sense a Quincies reaitsu. ''Thery know you got rid of it...'' Ichigo said hoping Ana could sense a blatent Quincy's energy approaching steadily.

"No not really. It's fine though" Ana said as she smiled and then heard Ichigo calling out for her as she hurried off to find out what was going on. It was not in Ana's intention to go to hell and find out any information about it, then again she was unsure what heaven actually was either so sadly she could not give the woman exact information on either places.

"That doesn't make much sense though I thought a Quincy only went after Hollows" Ana said frowning before looking to the souls, unless these souls were not what they appeared to be. But as Ana could not get an actual full reading on the souls she couldn't say for certain. But why would a Quincy bared off the souls and not let them move on? Where they experimenting or something?

Ana nodded her head at Ichigo's words "Yea..." she added though watched her shield against the force studying the small fluctuations as she applied some more pressure. When she saw the crack she couldn't help but smile before it all shattered away and she quickly closed her hand concealing her reiatsu once more. Hearing the woman down stairs Ana looked over her shoulder "It's ok, nothings broken" she called out before looking to the souls.

Upon Ichigo's words though Ana narrowed her eyes a little "Might I suggest you send them off then before the Quincy get here" she added as she looked around, what was the Quincies plan exactly? "Should I send the woman off? If we have a quincy or two coming and they see you things could get heated right" if it meant the woman would be safer outside her house Ana would ask her to leave for a bit while they dealt with the situation.

Ana hurried to the stairs and headed down a few. "Hey. So it seems the situation is becoming a bit dangerous. I strongly suggest you leave for a little bit while we rid your house of the spirits here. If you are ok with that. It shouldn't take us too long but it'd be safer if you were not in the house" Ana said as she paused for a moment looking past the woman, she thought she had spotted a spirit for a moment. "Is it working Ichigo?" Ana called out hurrying back up the stairs "I think I just saw a soul downstairs. If the Quincy are using them for something I suggest we move them on as quickly as possible before company arrives yes?"

Ichigo was trying to figure some things out it was true Quincy only found hollows their enemy and despite hating Shinigami if they were to come across one another they would usually just keep out of each other's way and move on he had recalled once when he was fighting off a hollow and killing it before Quincy had run passed him looking for more hollows they had stared each other out but the Quincy would normally just continue on their way. It was as if they had suddenly changed their motive and decided they would no longer keep peaceful or decided now was the time to seek revenge. ''They do, well so ive been told by Urahara...but they believe its their job to destroy hollows completely along with the souls inside them...Soul Society killed all Quincy off in a huge war around 1000 years ago to keep balance...so how can there be more about today'' he said. So that meant they were actively trying to infuriate Shinigami stopping them from doing their job in keeping the balance of souls and hollows.

He had been informed of how dangerous it was to allow Quincy to annihilate souls either in hollows or not, but if they did not allow the souls to pass on to Soul Society then there would be too many souls collecting up in the human world like now in this house they were building up and then drawing more hollows it became an endless circle of neither souls passing on properly and Ichigo was told if that was allowed to go on over time both the human world and Soul Society would collapse.

He smirked a little seeing Ana's shield had worked he didn't know what kind of shield she used but it was perfect for shattering their energy. It had seemed to of upset the Quincy nearby as if they were connected to that reitsu and had felt it break and offended them. The woman sighed with relief that nothing had broken so what had she heard she wondered. Ichigo nodded to Ana's words he had better get these souls off and quick. Ichigo use Zangetsu the hilt touching the soul's foreheads before imprinting them with a kanji sign before they vanished on their way to Soul Society.

''Yeah, she might get caught up in the crossfire'' he said when Ana suggested getting the woman clear of the house. He didn't know whether or not these Quincy on their way would be hostile or not they had never been so towards him before maybe gave him a look and he happened to be friends with Ishida, very much a Quincy he wondered if these new Quincy were aware of Ishida.

The woman suddenly looked up noticing Ana coming back down stairs ''Oh was it successful?'' she asked but her expression dropped when she was warned the situation was about to become dangerous. She looked shocked ''W-what do you mean...have you upset the person who gathered the ghosts here...are they coming for me!?'' she said worried. ''There coming for us'' Ichigo suddenly said from the top of the stairs ''They wont attack you, me and Ana just made them pretty mad I reckon'' he added. She nodded ''Will you both be ok?'' she asked before there was the sound of something buckling and creaking before the woman's front door was ripped clean off.

"Well they weren't all killed off, Uryu is proof of that but I don't get why they'd do this to a soul" Ana said as she went into thought for a moment. Ichigo's dad had explained some stuff to her before but she never asked much about it, she thought it was all stupid really. Of course she could not say she fully agreed with how Quincy got rid of a soul compared to the Shinigami but she was not voicing such things, she rather not get caught up in it all. It happened a thousand years ago, why couldn't people just move on already. But it was as Isshin had said it probably would not end until one of the parties were all dead. If a Quincy was doing this to souls though then she wanted to know why as it made no sense to her. Ichigo had a point though Quincy were said to all be gone, she didn't see Uryu doing this to a soul so who was it then and how many where out there?

When Ichigo said one was coming she suggested he said the souls off before the Quincy arrived, if they wanted the souls Ana was perfectly content not giving them what they wanted at all. It might have been an idea for him to get into his body too but she didn't say that she simply hurried down the stairs to ask the woman to leave. She understood this might not look good but Ichigo was right, the woman could not get caught in the crossfire, she was an innocent in all of this.

"Ichigo is just sending them off now..." Ana added taking a few more steps suggesting the woman leave. However when she asked why Ana frowned a little only to hear Ichigo answer the question, thankfully. Looking over her shoulder she nodded before giving the woman a small smile "Yea..." she didn't get to finish when the front door started making a strange sound as Ana turned her attention to that. Tilting her head a little she took a step closer to the door before it was ripped clean off causing Ana to jump and cover her head with her hands.

Shocked Ana froze for a moment, she was pretty sure her heart had just skipped a beat before she hurried to the woman standing in front of her to shield her in the event anything came through to door for her. "Use the back door... I'll cover your exit" Ana said to the woman before looking to the doorway "I have an innocent in here!" she called out to the person outside. "If you have any sense of honor you'll let her go without any harm coming to her" Ana said glancing over her shoulder to check if the woman had actually gone out the back way or if she was still standing there. If she was smart she would have gone by now of course Ana was not sure how many Quincy were around the house and simply hoped it was the one, one she could sense just outside at least.

"Hey Ichigo... you ok?" Ana called out to him.

It was right that Ishida was the only Quincy he knew to still be around but they were dangerous to Soul Society so Ichigo could see why they killed the entire race however it was an extreme solution that didn't end well last time many died and Quincy like Ishida who had no threat towards Shinigami and kept to themselves were probably slaughtered. But there really wasn't many options Quincy were born with the ability to completely kill hollows it was just how their powe worked where as Shinigami purified them allowing a hollowfied soul another chance at peace in the afterlife there was always going to be a fued between the two species. ''I need to speak with Ishida see if he knows what's going on...'' he began.

Ichigo had successfully sent 2 of the souls off but there could be plenty more who were still surrounded by a protected barrier. ''Ana, if you come across any more souls try and shattered any barrier around them'' he asked of her so he could easily send them back before any Quincy got their hands on them. They were clearly trying to cause a war between the two races once more.

The woman couldn't help but feel increasingly worried for her life even if Ichigo had reassured her they only wanted to attack him and Ana she knew something serious could go down and in her house too. ''Please mind my breakables'' she said to them both. Ichigo sighed ''If I can help it'' he said he'd at least try to without taking his mind off any Quincy. She was equally as startled by the sound of her door buckling under some kind of force before her door went missing she ws already wanting to run away, how could something do that so easily to her door. She had heard the name 'Quincy' being thrown about by Ana and Ichigo but she didn't know exsactly what it was.

She nodded ''I have to get out of here!'' she panicked hearing Ana would try and protect her she turned looking to her back door she looked outside it with caution seeing if she could see anyone and opened it up going outside. Ana had tried to plea with the Quincies outside there was no reply but only silence before two male Quincies walked inside. Ichigo instantly began to read them their reaitsu didn't feel like Ishida's maybe slightly different and they didn't dress like Ishida either they wore white like all Quincy did but had their own individuality about them.

One of them placed a gloved hand on the floor as if picking up the different reaitsu's ghosts and other wise, and they also noticed Ana's reaitsu on their barrier's they had put up aswell as Ichigo sending two of the souls off already. ''Tch...'' one tutted as he stood back up and looked towards Ana. ''She can go, we have no business with her...only you and him'' one said he noted she was human and probably would try and save all the souls around the room ''Try it'' he said to Ana. The other Quincy glanced up to Ichigo he smiled a little he knew who he was. ''Have you guys been meddling with our souls?'' he asked. ''My job'' Ichigo replied.

The second Quincy laughed ''I hate Shingami especially humans made into one'' he said before he flicked his wrist his glove glowing before he threw a blast of blue reishi at Ichigo it travelled before Ichigo flash stepped directly in front of the attack simply slapping it away with the back of his hand the blast diffusing as he kept his eyes on the Quincy. He wasn't attacking as such trying to avoid flat out destroying this woman's home. He nodded to Ana's question ''Im good'' he began.

Speaking with Ishida was probably a good idea, now wasn't the time though not with trouble on the way as it was, though if Ichigo was able to have an eventual talk with Ishida it would certainly help. "Right... I can do that" she said to Ichigo nodding her head at him. Shatter a few barriers around the souls so Ichigo could send them off before the Quincy got them, oh yea she was more than happy to do that. The very fact the Quincy had put barriers around the souls to stop them from being allowed to move on was frustrating her. I mean who in their right mind did such a thing, how would they like it if it happened to them!

As the woman asked they watched out for her breakables Ana smirked a little and nodded her head, if they were actually smart they could take the fight to the streets but the souls needed to be sent off and left to rest first not stuck here trapped for who knew how much longer. Hearing the panic in the woman's voice alarmed her, she had not heard someone panicked in awhile that was for sure. Looking over she noticed she was heading out the back, Ana called out to the Quincy, she wanted to make sure the woman could leave none the less and not be harmed, she didn't actually think the Quincy would harm a living soul but after seeing what they had done to these souls inside she could not say she entirely believed in the Quincy.

Not moments later two men walked in and Ana frowned a little, they looked different, their outfits were different to Uryu's but she was certainly picking up that Quincy vibe from them. "Your souls... funny didn't realize they belonged to the Quincy" Ana said watching one of them. Ichigo had a job to do and these guys were making it harder for him to do it, how many more souls had they done this too, what was the purpose exactly?

Ana had to admit she had not seen that sort of attack by a Quincy before as she narrowed her eyes calling out if Ichigo was ok, he was fine as per usual, honestly why'd she even worry about it sometimes. "Look I get it, you hate the Shinigami and hey if they had done to me what they have done to you I would probably feel the same way. However having said that, that Shinigami happens to be my friend and you've gotten in his way. What sort of Quincy puts a barrier around a soul to stop it from moving on! How would you like it, to be stuck here forever, don't you know what happens when souls can't move on... I thought your supposed to go after Hollows not innocent souls" she said. Maybe and just maybe be it even a long shot they might get out of a fight though she was not counting on it.

In the event she couldn't reason with them and she doubted she could she glanced to Ichigo "If you got this I'll go hunting" Ana said in other words find the remaining souls and break the barriers so Ichigo could get them off to the next life when he came across one. She had seen one lurking around here or so she thought and the woman who lived here seemed to dislike the basement that was probably a good place to start too. Glancing back to the Quincy she frowned then spun around heading down towards the basement.

The woman closed the door behind her and rested her back to it as she breathed deeply trying to calm herself she knew ghosts had frightened her enough but those Quincy guys seemed on a whole other level she was having her eyes opened to the reality of the spiritual world it wasn't all peaceful. She looked up to see if anyone had followed her or decided to attacked her.

The two Quincy seemed confused at Ana before they dismissed her opinions quickly ''If we say they are then yes'' one said they saw it as they could do what they liked with these souls, of course they had just been 2 Quincy who'ds been wound up by Shinigami's laws and wiping out their entire race.

Ichigo's hand emited a spark of the reishi that he'd just canceled out he looked to his hand these guys definalty had stronger reiatsu and their attacks were more direct than he thought. When he pictured Quincy he thought of bows but there wasn't a bow or an arrow in sight on these two perhaps Quincy that did exsist today had been changing up their techniques seemed as though he'd manifested his energy into a singly hand. Ichigo would not underestimate them and took them very seriously but he smirked towards them, he had this. The same Quincy walked forwards before adjusting his gloves more pulling them down before he heard Ana she understood the current situation and why Quincy's were so vengeful.

''We put barriers up because we can, why not we got nothing else to lose...'' one said'' ...its already begun Soul Society lost their head captain to the hands of a Quincy and that Quincy is our leaader'' he informed Ana. Ichigo looked in surprise ''It was Quincy who did that!?'' he raised his voice. A grin appeared on one Quincy's face, it made Ichigo wonder how many Quincy were already in Soul Society hiding out and waiting to strike. ''Soul Society will be destroyed along with all its Shinigami we are prepared well and Quincy will emerge on top Shinigami will be no more...'' one Quincy said. ''Shut up...Soul Society will always win...because I will make sure of it...'' he quickly interrupted the Quincy.

Ichigo readied himself as Ana was planning on making her move to the lingering souls while he could take on the Quincy. ''Sure...they wont get too near you'' he confirmed as one Quincy got ready to stike Ana the moment she turned to help a soul the other Quincy ready to stop Ichigo from protecting Ana all eagerly awaiting for someone to make a first move.

Gosh these guys sounded so self righteous, they didn't seem to give a shit about anything other than themselves, fucking selfish pricks! They'd hardly said anything and Ana was already ready to kick their asses. A soul didn't belong to anyone, it wasn't a slave, what did they want with the souls anyway, probably trap shinigami and kill them. That thought alone pissed her off even more.

Clenching a fist she huffed. Though hearing one say it was a Quincy who too their leader had her freeze for a moment, wait a Quincy took Yamamoto, how? Had the Quincy already infiltrated soul society already or did they have someone working on the inside? If they took the old man she could see logic to it, take him, Soul Society is leaderless and falls easier. They had to get this information to the Captains. She knew what that meant, war and not a small one either we were talking inhalation of a species here, knowing that Ana was unsure she wanted to mention anything about it.

"You know he's right. You're going to lose. I don't care who your leader is but in the end you will lose, we'll make sure of it" like hell soul society was going to fall, as if the shinigami would be all wiped out, not happening, ever! However with that information gathered Ana put her attention back onto the souls inside. She excused herself glanced to the Quincy and hurried off, unaware one was preparing to attack her. Thankfully she ran so quickly that by the time she reached basement door she all but skidded to a stop hitting the ground kicking the door open hearing something behind her before quickly rolling down the stairs.

As she rolled off the last stair she cringed grabbing her arms before sitting up on her knees and formed a shield behind the door, moving her hand aside to shut the door and left the portal behind it. These were Quincy though, using techniques she had never seen before and if she remembered seeing Uryu in action he could use reishi to their advantage which meant they could break her shield no doubt. That in mind Ana knew she'd have to rely on her martial arts if she was to battle one.

Quickly standing on her feet she looked around. "Hello... souls... ah there you are..." she said spotting one and hurried over cornering them "It's ok, I'm here to help. I'm going to make sure you can move on ok" she added hearing a noise coming from the door. She didn't look back, her heart was racing in her chest, she had limited time, no doubt there were more here but she only saw the one so far. She placed a hand over the barrier and formed a shield applying the same method as before. "It's ok" she repeated to the soul "I'm going to need your help though ok" she said watching the soul as the barrier cracked before shattering moments later and Ana placed a hand on the souls shoulder hearing another noise from the door. "I need you to find the other souls in this house and bring them to me ok" Ana couldn't be running around dodging a Quincy while trying to find souls, she needed them to come to her.

The soul nodded before vanishing and Ana quickly went and hid under the stairs, it was there she bumped into another one. "Hi" she whispered placing a hand near the small souls head and formed another shield "You're alright. Don't be frightened ok... I need you to find the guy in black, he has orange hair, he'll help you get out of here ok" she said making sure the soul understood as another loud sound game from above the stairs and Ana cracked the barrier before shielding the soul when there was a loud explosion, she heard the soul scream and covered it's mouth before looking into it's eyes "Go find the shinigami" she mouthed.

They both seemed to be happy that neither Ichigo nor Ana seemed to know what was going on in Soul Society right now it was best that they didn't know because then they would go gallivanting off to help any of them. ''I don't see how we cant win we've even figured out how to stop a Shinigami's pesky Bankai...so they wont even have their strongest attacks'' he laughed only for the other to nudge him telling him to stop there with his words.

Each of them in turn were just awaiting some movement from someone, anyone before it was Ana who made a run for it to the basement and instantaneously the Quincy went for her Ichigo following as he jumped the flight of stairs he stood on and aimed to land on top of them causing both Quincy to look up and take their eyes off Ana as they avoid Ichigo jumping back from his fall. ''Stop her, I dare you'' Ichigo began a stern look as the Quincy smiled wickedly before one concentrated his reishi on both his hands while the other did wield a bow both of which were ready to attack at the same time either of them sending a blast of concentrated reishi at Ichigo who drew Zangetsu well one half and sliced into both attacks of course not trying to hit anything as best he could.

Ichigo remained at the front of the door to the bbasement stopping any from getting passed him ''Let's us through Kurosaki!'' one Quincy declared to which Ichigo frowned a little more they clearly did know who he was he didn't know who from. ''Why so surprised, our Leader knows you very well and your family too'' one said. Ichigo ignored the comment and raised Zangetsu in defence in case of further attacks. ''How about you go back where you came from and leave Soul Society to clear up your mess'' Ichigo said. Before one Quincy flew at Ichigo his first full of energy as he went to punch Ichigo who simply moved a little the Quincy punching a fist through the basement door where Ana was. Seeing he was now trapped Ichigo gripped the Quincy's arm stuck in the wall yanking him straight out and tossing him flying backwards seeing he was about to hit a wall Ichigo flash stepped quickly to grab the Quincy by is white jacket and slamming him into the floor pinning him there by his shoulder. ''Shit that was close'' Ichigo muttered almost taking out one whole wall of the woman's house.

The other Quincy was now approaching the basement door about to send a blast through it before Ichigo made a dash for him. The basement door exploded from the Quincy's reishi coming into contact with it. Ichigo just only hoped Ana was doing ok in there. Desperate for the Quincy to not step foot in that basement Ichigo attempted to grab the Quincy and abandoned the idea of using his zanpakuto to not cause further damage! Turning the Quincy round Ichigo landed a fist directly into the Quincy's face knocking him back with force before the other Quincy got to his feet and joined in. ''Ana! any souls ready to go yet!?'' he called out.
