Post by Inoue Orihime on Mar 16, 2008 9:05:45 GMT -5
Name: Inoue Orihime Age: 15 gender: female personality and appearance: orange/brown hair grey eyes slim figure big chested history:Orihime lives by herself in Karakura Town, where the story takes place, and is supported by relatives living elsewhere. Previously, she had lived with her older brother, Sora,[20] who was fifteen years older than her. She and her brother were raised by a drunk father and an unfaithful mother, who always argued and beat their children. It is unknown if her parents are still alive.
When Sora turned eighteen, he ran away with Orihime, who was three years old, and raised her since. For six years, Orihime and Sora lived in harmony despite the fact that Orihime was bullied in school because of her long hair. One day, Sora gave Orihime a pair of hairpins. However, Orihime refused to wear them because she said they were childish. On the same day, Sora was wounded in a car accident and died in the Kurosaki clinic. Orihime has worn the hairpins ever since. A year after Sora died, Orihime met Tatsuki who defended her from the bullies. They have been best friends ever since.
what you are (human mod soul.....): human And if you have powers what are they:Orihime's power manifests itself as the Shun Shun Rikka (¶ÜË´Áù»¨, lit. Six Flowers of the Hibiscus Shield; Six Princess Shielding Flowers in the English anime), six fairy-like creatures that reside in her hair-clips (shaped like six-petaled flowers, each fairy is two points on a given clip) when inactive. Through various combinations of the six fairies, Orihime has the power to reject fate by denying or undoing events in various forms. This power can be used for attack, defense, or healing (depending on the combination). Orihime's mood directly influences the effectiveness of her powers. Feelings like doubt or worry make them weaker, while conviction makes them stronger. At their height, her powers resemble those of a deity in strength.
Orihime's powers initially manifested during the duel between Ichigo and Ishida while trying to protect her friend Tatsuki from Numb Chandelier. She was trained by Yoruichi Shihouin in their usage before attempting to rescue Rukia Kuchiki from being executed in Soul Society. Curiously, Orihime's spiritual energy and powers resemble those of the vizard Hachigen Ush¨da (who even compared her Shun Shun Rikka to a zanpakut¨.) Orihime mainly functions in a healing capacity, due to the nature of her powers. Despite her ability to inflict lethal damage, she is a pacifist and will only harm opponents to save someone's life.
The fairies are separate manifestations of Orihime's spirit, each with its own unique appearance and personality, and each named after a flower:
Ayame (¤¢¤ä¤á) - Iris - Voiced by: Tomoe Sakuragawa (Japanese), Philece Sampler (English) Ayame is a shy female spirit covered in a dress larger than her body. She is capable of healing together with Shun'¨. Baigon (÷Ži) - Ume - Voiced by: Kiyoyuki Yanada (Japanese), Liam O'Brien (English) Baigon is a bald male spirit with a mask that covers the bottom of his face. He is capable of shielding Orihime from attacks along with Hinagiku and Lily. Hinagiku (»ðŸo¾Õ) - Daisy - Voiced by: Daisuke Kishio (Japanese), Kirk Thornton (English) Hinagiku is a male spirit with a large eye patch that ends in a horn. He is capable of shielding Orihime from attacks along with Baigon and Lily. Lily (¥ê¥ê¥£) - Lily - Voiced by: Rie Kugimiya (Japanese), Kate Higgins (English) Lily is a female spirit with bright pink hair, transparent yellow goggles, and a blue bathing suit. She has a tattoo on her backside. She is capable of shielding Orihime from attacks along with Baigon and Hinagiku. Shun'¨ (Ë´—@) ¨C Althea - Voiced by: Junko Noda (Japanese), Dorothy Elias-Fahn (English) Shun'¨ is a friendly female spirit with a topknot. She and Tsubaki are usually the ones who talk to Orihime. She is capable of healing together with Ayame. Tsubaki (´»¹í) - Camellia - Voiced by: Toshiyuki Morikawa (Japanese), Wally Wingert (English) Tsubaki is a fiery male spirit who is the only Shun Shun Rikka capable of direct attack. He often strikes anyone who gets on his nerves (including Orihime). Because he is primarily focused on attacking, he is vulnerable to counter-attacks and has been injured several times. The stronger Orihime's anger and killing intent, the more powerful he becomes. However, Orihime's timid nature limits his overall power and has contributed to his injuries in the past.
[edit] Techniques Orihime's techniques involve incantations manipulating the Shun Shun Rikka into three different groups. Though Orihime initially needed to chant an incantation to use her techniques, further training has rendered this unnecessary. Her incantation consists of voicing the names of the members involved, followed by the technique name and the phrase "I reject" (˽¤Ï¾Ü½~¤¹¤ë, watashi wa kyozetsu suru?), a reference to the nature of her powers.
Santen Kesshun (ÈýÌì½Y¶Ü, lit. Three Sacred Links Shield) is Orihime's defensive technique. The incantation arranges Hinagiku, Lily, and Baigon into a triangle, forming a barrier capable of repelling anything on the far side. Because the barrier rejects negative events, it can also function as an airbag of sorts, allowing Orihime and anyone else nearby to survive a potentially lethal fall unharmed.[21]
S¨ten Kisshun (Ë«Ì쎢¶Ü, lit. Twin Sacred Return Shield) is Orihime's healing technique, though it goes well beyond simple healing. The incantation summons Ayame and Shun'¨ to form a half-oval barrier around whatever or whomever Orihime wishes. While active, the barrier repels all negative events inflicted upon anything within the barrier.[22] No matter how extensive the damage may be (whether used on living beings or inanimate objects), the barrier can restore it to full working order by reversing space and time around the damaged area, making it as if the object was never damaged in the first place.[23] It can even resurrect the dead.[24] Objects inside the barrier are unable to leave until the process is complete.[25]
This is the aspect of her power that piques S¨suke Aizen's interest in her since, in Aizen's words, she "violates the realm of gods."[26] At first it was believed the technique required that Orihime have some piece of what she is healing to restore what's missing. She was unable to heal Tsubaki after his destruction because he was shattered into pieces too small to find. However, it has been suggested by Hachigen Ushouda, a vizard with similar powers, that Orihime should be able to restore anything she wants without actually having a piece of it.[27] It is also known that the healing of one of their own kind takes longer.
Koten Zanshun (¹ÂÌì”ضÜ, lit. Solitary Sacred Cutting Shield)[28] is Orihime's offensive technique. The incantation summons Tsubaki, who forms a thin barrier to either side of himself. By flying at an enemy, the barrier can reject anything to either side of it, thus cutting through enemies like a sword. While Tsubaki can cut through basically anything, Orihime's general dislike of combat and hesitance to use lethal force degrades the effectiveness of the technique, making him easy to counter and equally easy to injure. This also suggests that the full effectiveness of this technique has yet to be seen.
small example of RP: Inoue sat in school with her best friend tasuki they were discussing their homework ''Look at mine TYasuki-chan!! isnt it greaT!!'' Inoue said cheerfully.

( I'm not sure if My Characters would be posted here because of what he is! Tell me if I need another application!!) Name: Turasho Nogomi Age: 15 gender: Male personality: Turasho is a very shy person, because of his high intelligence, Turasho was unable to make friends. He is very stubborn but does not get angry easy. He is very high-achieving and follows rules like nobody else! Turasho hates people who misbehave or go around pulling pranks. Even despite his hatered for those kind of people, he needs friends so badly he might just become a pranksters friend. appearance: Everyday: During Combat: history: Turasho had no family growing up. He was found inside a cardboard box on the side of a busy street. He lived in orphanages most of his life, 'till he ran away and bought himself a apartment in Karakura Town. While living in the orphanages, Turasho learned that he had " powers" as the mother of the orphanage called it. As Turasho's powers grew... He began to do strange things to people around him...killing them... taking their souls...Soon he started avoiding people all together, but almost died because of it. Then he began to look up things about spirits, death gods, and other things to see what was wrong with him. Using his skills he found out about Hollows and Soul Reapers ( the way he got this information is unknown). Turasho ran off only to find a current Soul Reaper who noticed his high spiritual power. The Soul reaper informed him, that he should be unable to see soul reapers. Turasho, already knowing what that was, asked why he was able to. The Soul Reap informed him that he was a Bount. A child of a clan of human beings with high spiritual energy and special powers. They were accidentally created by Soul Reaper scientists looking for a way to create eternal life. Bounts consume the souls of human beings to survive; theoretically, a Bount could live forever by doing so. Although the Bounts have a strict rule to consume only the souls of the dead, the final group of Bounts chose to drain souls from living humans in order to become more powerful. Each Bount uses a "doll" in combat, a type of familiar possessing its own special abilities. Every doll is unique and is a manifestation of the user's power. If the doll is destroyed, its owner is destroyed as well. Turasho's "doll" is a small black cat which Turasho named Kina. what you are (human mod soul.....): Human; Bount And if you have powers what are they: Doll: Kina, a doll, is the equivalent to a Soul Reaper's zanpakuto. its creator's power given physical form. Also like a zanpakuto; a doll's personality is much like its creator's, though the dolls seem to have more personality variation than the zanpakuto; spirits seen thus far. The main difference between a doll and a zanpakuto; is how they operate. Unlike a zanpakuto; whose personality is generally dormant except when the Soul Reaper wishes to speak to them, a doll's personality is always apparent. Dolls are self-sufficient when released, though they can easily be resealed. The Bount's ability to control their doll is largely based on their individual power and relationship with the doll. Moreover, if either the doll or its Bount partner sustains severe damage in a battle, the Bount may lose control over his doll, depending on the amount of damage dealt. If a doll is injured, it will simply return itself to its sealed state. However, should its master be injured, the doll may go berserk and kill its master. Like a zanpakuto, dolls are generally sealed into an object and released as necessary. the object varies greatly from person to person and is often an expression of the doll's abilities. Turasho uses a necklace around his neck, much like cat collar with a bell to seal his doll inside. In order to call upon a Bount's doll, the phrase "Zeige Dich" is said, which is a German phrase meaning "Show yourself." To summon a doll, a Bount needs to undergo a ritual where they chant an incantation. Turasho's incantation is a simple form of words: let the fire beneath me open a portal to a word in which there is no hate then Turasho yells Zeige Dich, summoning Kina. small example of RP: Turasho walked silently down the hall, his bag was over his shoulder, and just like everyday... he talked to nobody, sat near nobody, looked at nobody... He kept to himself like the brainy freak he was... he smiled as the thought of dinner approached. His smile faded. There was no happiness in eating dead souls... but... if thats what he had to do to survive then so be it... He was a brainy freak anyway... He looked out a window as he walked by, he saw all the girls sitting with there friends and he cursed himself inside his head. Why couldn't he make friends...oh right... he was the freak... nobody looked at or talked to the freak... He hated this life... if only there was something better...

((Hope this is good )) Name: Daniel Barrack Age: 19 Gender: Male Race/Class: Human Personality: On the surface Daniel would be deemed as a quirky individual, eccentric, day dreamy, and very challenging to fully interact or socialize with; due to an air of flippancy and disinterest in everything other than whatever he might be thinking about, but not particularly special or out of the ordinary. The truth is Daniel is one of those guarded individuals who unintentionally finds himself unable to gather the strength to properly delve into his surroundings or socialize with others, that said, the few who do come close to him discover him to be, behind the constantly calm and unaffected facade, a mildly neurotic and anxious individual, but with an emotional strength and will power that could be dubbed admirable. With those he considers his friends he can be talkative to a sometimes excessive extent, and he will easily become lost in his own thoughts and rants, but he also makes the effort to listen, even when he doesn’t particularly want to. He notices small details very well, and will more often than not notice something of the smallest of significance rather than the “big picture”, and even then the small details interest him more than the overall concept. He carries himself confidently and acts as such at all times, but beneath it he bears a collection of neurotic habits and behavior, which he himself has never considered to be peculiar. He is something of a Jekyll and Hyde personality, as in although he has his own ethics and morals and wouldn’t intentionally harm anyone for no reason, he is also wrathful and ruthless when he feels wronged, or feels someone is doing wrong, and in such case can become frighteningly cold and callous, and when he is such it is almost certain he will act cruelly. Appearance: Dusky, hazel brown hair, thick and with bangs to his forehead, the overall length of his hair being to his collar. The shape differs on its own accord, but it is obviously generally uncared for and paid little mind to. The rest of his appearance also suggests a lack of care, clothes casual, loose and comfortable. His face is colored healthily, except for his narrow, bleak green eyes, the color seeming almost faded, topped off by a thin, smooth brow that gives an impression of languid pondering. He looks younger than he is; his face boyish, even with the strong nose and defined jaw, lips small and always seeming to pout broodingly unless smiling. Weapons: Twin-blades- Dusk and Dawn: A pair of steel blades coated in silver, thin, reaching to five feet in length and two inches in width. The handles are simple enough, wrapped in black leather for good grip, with the ends cut into triangular shapes. The only differences between the two are the pattern in which the black and gold squares are painted on them; Dusk painted black-gold-black whereas Dawn is inverted. The “magical” powers of these blades, if you will, also differ slightly. Dusk has the ability to absorb the power of an enemy through striking them, but only if it touches flesh, and hence will make the blade more lethal. Whereas Dawn absorbs the energy of the user to strengthen the blade, but only for defensive moves, this is done without having to pierce the flesh, but can still be painful and will leave the user exhausted if abused. Abilities: His one and only supernatural ability of sorts is something he’s been gifted with by birth; and that is to recognize beings around them for what they are. For some inexplicable reason he has the instinct to pint point whether or not someone is human, a sixth sense, if you will. He can also pick out the energies of ghosts, or other such astral plane creatures. With this gift also comes a very small, but significant, amount of resistance to the powers of supernatural beings, enough to deem him a worthy opponent against once. History: Daniel was the adoptive son of Wendy Barrack and her husband Joseph; a pair of religious fanatics. Even so, they were kind and gave Daniel a good, if not very strict, upbringing. One could say he was sheltered just a bit too much, but Daniel himself doesn’t see a problem in his parents behavior, even if they have severely different beliefs. His child hood was uneventful, all for his peculiar powers, of course. He found at a very young age that he had the distinct and eerie feeling that certain people around him were not what they made out to be; he saw ghastly, gaunt creatures, demons disguised as humans, and he felt it so powerfully it was over bearing. Still, he never made any mention of this to his parents, knowing they would treat it as a possession, and the young Daniel Barrack wasn’t convinced he wanted this “gift” rid of, if that indeed was what it was. The older he got, the more Daniel became obsessed with this powerful insight, and the more he researched the supernatural, often discarding chores or school work to find out more. He tried to speak to the spirits that he saw, though they didn’t seem to notice him, or care that he was trying to communicate with them, and he was too scared to waltz up to one of the demons just yet. With the death of his adoptive father at the age of seventeen, he grew more frenzied and driven on to discover the world of darkness around him, trying to find a way to reach his deceased father. He never did find such a path, and a year later, his mother followed his father to the grave. small example of RP((I hope this is ok)): The persistent glow of the plasma screen was eerie and uncoordinated in the low lamp light, ruining the eloquence and soft, but potent serenity of the room. Drilled into the dark red wall, wide and vibrant, loud and demanding like a hungry child, the images that flashed drawing his eyes to the screen despite the lack of interest he generally had for the thing. He found it ruined the atmosphere of the lounge, and in turn, tarnished his languid mind and easy flowing, aimless but content thinking, content only because he was too weary and absent-minded to bother to be anything else on this night. The call of the night, of the mad moon, had drawn him reluctantly out of his solitary confinement, luring him from the dusty corners in which he dwelled so that he could be amongst the living again, the merciless thirst which brought him here as seductive and devious as a common whore, and unwanted now, as it thwarted his attempts at pondering; philosophizing about nothing in particular. Yet he had not yet strived to make the extra mile to feed, as if the effort he’d dragged from himself just to appear in the outside world should quell his instincts enough and satisfy his hunger. Such a foolish, hopeless thought, but at least the lounge of the hotel he’d suffered himself to stay in was of a tasteful surrounding, if nothing else.

If I may post here? Name: Smilez Age: ? (Hollow's have no need for age.) gender: (Hollow's have no need for gender, but if one were to insist on knowing, it is male. It, of course, can change due to Smilez special ability.) personality and appearance: Personality depends on form. Base Personality is the same, however. Seek out and devour. His appearance changes with every "rebirth", with only a collection of green gases with a non-physical hollow mask as his "true" form. history: Smilez "Himself" has no memories to speak of, or care for, for that matter. Maybe it's due to age, or maybe he just has no use for them. As a hollow, he has only one thing, an urge, that drives him. It is not to see loved ones safe, it is not to protect others, or to merely exist for that matter. Nay, only one thing drives this beast, and that is his insatable hunger. what you are (human mod soul.....): Hollow. And if you have powers what are they: Smilez is quiet the Hollow, having a very unique ability. He can not be killed. or rather, he dies in an unusual way. Normal hollows, when killed, either their souls are destroyed (Quincy) Or judgement is passed on them (heaven/hell). Everytime he dies, for some reason or another, he just loses his physical form. After some time he retakes a new physical form, with a new "personality" and new "abilities." Abilities one would find in a genetic hollow. He can have no more then three, no less then one, at a time. Every time he takes a new physical form, he loses the old abilities in favor of new ones. small example of RP: Covered in a slimey-glue like substance, Smilez hopped towards his intend target, lacking the legs (or limbs for that matter) to stalk his prey properly. She was a tall woman, brunett hair sawying slightly as she rocked the infant in her arms. Playful, gently, moving her finger infront of the child, cooing to it. She apparently had no clue of the lurking monster approuching her, of it's slimey body or of the tongue that slithered out from the confines of the hollows mouth. So peacefully did she sit on the bench in the park, enjoying her time with her child. So eager was Smilez to crush that happyness. And so he did, with a tug of the tongue and a resulting CRUNCH, he moved on to his next meal. His mouth slimed at the thought. (Rushed+no spell check+I am a douche = fail application, I know. I didn't have much time to work on this at the moment, so I winged it. >.>; This temp (temporary) character was created in hopes of making this site a little more...lively. It seems that no one wants to play the canon fodder for the other players, and that alone may cause the site to become inactive. With this character, I hope to be able to create multiple threads, allowing death gods to get in some fights and possibly "kill" me while at the same time keeping to the one character limit and not being forced to recreate a new hollow everytime the old one is killed. I promise not to god mod. Maybe. *wink* Also, lolz mother and baby eatting. That'll make a good first impression.

Accepted Good application. Don't worry too much about the god-moding, either, a hollow dies too much to have a chance to do so Have fun!
