PERSONALITY

Ninsuke often has a strong personality, often very quiet and compassionate to allies and people who he holds close he shows a deep understanding towards combat and has a great deal of emotional strength and shows his emotions during the right times needed. If he does talk, it’s in order to explain his reasoning for most things and if he does he shows a great deal of understanding in what would be his greatest strength. He often understands things better because he doesn't usually showcase violence or a destructive temper so he will listen to those that need to be listened to in order to understand the situation completely. He is very shy when he speaks outside of his role as a vice captain, and thus usually is still silent unless he needs to speak.

In times of battle, if he is facing a source of “evil” or someone messes with his allies in a way he sees unfit as a battle, his attitude grows much more stern and serious also showcasing his passionate (hotblooded) side. He often has qualms about fighting opposition with more than just his own skills and thus unless it calls for it won’t gang on an opponent even if he is in the pretense of possible death because of his connection to honor and a warrior’s spirit. He can often be asked for possible advice due to his seriousness and above-average intellect.

He takes his job as a Lieutenant with complete respect and tries to choose the best choices for any situation especially if he is appointed as temporary captain should his captain be away. He is capable of understanding tactics both in and out of battle and is very well-read in the art of war. He is also not above sacrificing himself as a pawn in order to protect his allies as long as it is for a just cause. That being said, he hates cowardly antics and will not tolerate them in his squad (such as leaving behind allies if they are still alive, attacking weaker opponents in groups or packs when one person can overcome them, and many more things) and will even attack his own members if they choose to do so in front of him only to stop them or knock them back into sense.

He will utilize honorifics to any and all people, unless they are close friends of his or enemies in which case he will pronounce them as such. He does not take kindly to not being called honorifics from people he doesn't consider close, however and will tell them to "please call him Takane-" and the honorific that coincides with the situation. He also understands and practices the Way of Bushido although he is not a swordsman, and although it goes against some of the rules of his squad, will not attack a downed or opponent from behind unless it is of utmost certainty that he must (against an enemy he can't beat normally, usually).

INTERESTING FACTS

Hakuda Master: He is a capable hand-to-hand fighter and is far more advanced then most other Lieutenants and shinigami in this ability. He attacks efficiently, inflicting nothing short of the most damage in the least amounts of time. None of his attacks ever go without a reason, and thus it makes him more lethal in the long run. Ninsuke has the ability to easily go against a swordsman or weapons expert with his hand to hand abilities and is capable of defeating a multitude of enemies with these skills alone. It should also be noted that Ninsuke has been practicing hand to hand with his "sister" since he was a small boy (he died at an early age). In terms of style he values speed, accuracy, power, turning force and the center of gravity to gain leverage rather than pure power and raw speed. This is also one of the reasons he is a Lieutenant. He practices Wing Chun, Taichi and his own unique style using turning force and rotation to display a greater force and speed when needed. Basically, he is a technical close combat specialist who fuses physical combat with reiryoku.

• Raijin-ken [Lightning King Fist] - A variation of Thunder King Fist, created by Ninsuke. This skill values accuracy and misdirection rather than use of raw speed and destructive potency in order to create a skill that an opponent can't defend against with their own reflexes. Basically, the skill attacks in a way similar to the aspect of Chain punches (when one strikes with great speed across the body in Wing Chun striking the vital points of an opponent as fast and as accurately as possible). Thanks to this the skill is highly threatening as the user strikes in ways that mislead the opponents own reactions, twisting the body and form to rotate into the next attack with every movement. Though slower than an all-out Thunder King Fist, it is made for deception and accuracy attacking to brutally destroy an opposition’s body.
  
• Bōn Kurasshā Sutoraiki [Bone Crusher Strike] - A skill which uses spiritual control to infuse into a singular blow capable of attacking both externally and internally. Punching forward at the opponent with an intense strike, the user infuses spiritual energy right at the point of impact releasing a massive force onto the opponent; the residual effect of this skill is that a burst of displaced air appears to release similar to that of a sonic boom. This destructive force not only is capable of heavily damaging where it strikes, but that burst of spiritual power also moves to strike inside the opponents body releasing such force that it can also rupture the organs. This skill's internal force can be neutralized by an equal yet opposite force of spiritual energy. This skill can also blow through reinforced steel. This skill was learned from his sister, Vesperia.
  
• Kaze Tsubame Kikku [Wind Swallow Kick] - A skill where the user unleashes a rotating kicking attack, infusing it with great amounts of spiritual energy. This skill is capable of breaking bones and sending an opponent flying.
  
• Inazuma-ken [Lightning Bolt Fist] - One of the first skills that Ninsuke mastered on the road to learning the Bone Crusher Strike. Utilizing a mass of ki (in the form of streaks of electricity around the the fist), the user attacks the opponent with a highly destructive blow. The skill has two applications, one being that of an uppercut with great force and fast execution. The other using a surface like a wall or a platform in the air (or even Hohō) in order to launch off as a rocket to empower the overall speed and destructive potential in the punch. Due to it being the shaping of the Bone Crusher Strike itself, it can be seen as a rudimentary version of that skill.

Physical Abilities: Though small, Ninsuke is very strong and agile compared to his own size. Capable of great feats of strength such as easily destroying stone and denting steel with regular strikes. His greatest abilities are his reactions and flexibility in battle allowing him to understand and decipher skills his opponent uses in order to create a counter towards them. His speed is also impressive, capable of closing the gap of large distances with sprinting and capable of outmaneuvering opponents without using techniques such as "Shunpo".

Reiryoku Control Expert: He has created his own unique fighting style combining the characteristics of his sisters skill in order to empower his strikes and increase his own potential in battle thanks to his small body. Though "strong" his small body limits his physical strength to a certain limit meaning that he has to rely more on applications of spiritual energy. Thus he refined his spiritual control to such a degree that his abilities far exceed the normal applications of coating reiryoku to summon power, speed, and destructive force in combat making him an expert. This would mean that he would show an expertise over Kido if he wished to use it choosing not to in order to refine and master his martial skills instead.

Hoho Expert: Considering his rank, what squad he is a part of and his great control over spiritual energy, one can assume that his control over his movements, and adeptness at flash steps are much greater than the average lieutenant. He is capable of moving at speeds much vaster than the average shinigami in that most can't keep-up apart from certain Lieutenants and Captain-level opponents. However, he does not focus on this skill using it only when confronting opponents that move at speeds that are much faster than his own leading to him to rely on his regular speed. He has also created his own unique steps, taking his style of rotation and turning force to dodge and counter opponents with that same evasive maneuver in combat making his style highly offensive due to relying on counteraction more than defense.

High-Spiritual Energy: Due to being a Lieutenant it can be assumed he has a great deal of spiritual energy in combat. A great pool of spiritual energy is also needed in order to correctly utilize his fighting style and control as he does. His spiritual control and refinement makes it so that even the tiniest of spiritual energy is used with a great deal of care allowing for him to refine and sharpen his movements as well as release powerful strikes. His reiatsu's color is lightning blue.

Sealed State: A weapon made simple in design in order to lead opponents into a false sense of interest towards him considering the aspects and skills of other shinigami. Crafted with a wooden design with its hilt and scabbard it is a small dagger which has a sharp edge. It is made to be like bamboo stalks except it was crafted from a strong wood and is made "strong" like most other shinigami weapons created. The blade is double-edged and can be used for both slashing and impaling with ease. He rarely uses this form because of his preference of hakuda skills and lack of technique in swordsmanship.

Release Phrase: Roar O’ Beast of Justice
Release Actions: Usually holds his fists in the air or forward collecting and wrapping the spiritual energy around them. He also dashes towards an opponent if he can, and attacks them while the skill is being created sometimes releasing a preemptive strike before they can anticipate his attack.

Shikai Appearance: A pair of leather gauntlets with diamond-shaped metal profusions similar to the ones found on his spirit itself. He also wears two seemingly iron rings on the wrists of each one. The gloves portion is finger-less and the gauntlet portion goes almost entirely against the forearms towards the elbow stopping about three inches away. The leather is actually durable enough that bladed weapons can be blocked by it absorbing the impact of the weapon and cushioning it. The cushioning also has square-shaped patterns on the forearm cushion with three steel beads on the sides.

Shikai Spirit Appearance: As the name entitles, the spirit is an actual beast, to be more specific a large bipedal lion who has a great deal of muscles bulging around himself. Wrapped in scars and strong muscles, not many people would have thought that this would be the true spirit of such a meek person, but a zanpaktou usually takes on the hidden characteristic of their master making people who are able to see him question this. He has orange skin and a yellow mane which also doubles as a "beard" looking more like a cliche "soldier" type with large pants wrapped with belts tight around his right fists, around his pants and right leg are a singular belt, too. He wears a sword on his back, though he prefers to fight much like his master does. He wears a piercing upon his right ear, his eyes having black-lines along with his mouth and his muscles constantly making large tension-lines around his body.

Inner Shikai World: The world which Ninsuke has created is a vast world filled with a great deal of craters and wastelands symbolizing the training grounds that he goes through daily to become progressively stronger. However, one place is always kept away from such torment which is to say his spirits home, which is a place with a huge waterfall that connects to a larger body of water, with an ocean of greenery and a Japanese traditional-style dojo that Ninsuke usually goes to to spar with his spirit to grow efficiently (considering one can attribute training in the spirit world as training in the real world). Basically placed, his entire shikai world is a battleground, a resolution of his ever-growing strength and ability in the outside world.

Shikai Abilities: King of Beast's Fist is a shikai that requires the utmost skill to use in which Ninsuke is capable of using a greatly refined technique in reiatsu control, the power of which allows him to unleash more advanced blasts of reiatsu and with a greater deal of intensity. With the gloves, Ninsuke can release concussive blasts of aerial reiatsu normally, allowing him to increase his range, the blasts explode on contact against the opponent due to being basically condensed bombs.

Due to increase in refinement he gains, he can also coat his reiatsu externally to create a shield of reiatsu to block an opponent’s own physical or reiatsu attacks that of course can be broken with enough force from either type. His overall control of reiatsu also enhances his fighting style of hakuda and reiryoku fusion. What's better is as he becomes more adept with reiatsu control the King of Beast's Fist can also grow with his refinement growth thus allowing for greater improvement of this skill. Basically put, this zanpaktou's abilities are made to be incredibly versatile. A weakness in this skill is that it can only be used from the gloves to the forearms meaning only his punches and elbow strikes get to use the reiatsu control upgrade due to the gloves being a conduit.

Shikai Techniques: These are the abilities of which Ninsuke has created for his Shikai. Due to its nature, Juuouken's techniques needed to be created from scratch completely out of Ninsuke's own imagination which allows him to be creative with his skills.

• Hakai Shishi Sutoraiki [Destructive Lion Strike] - The shikai enhancement of the Bone Crusher Strike. This skill thanks to the more refined spiritual control allows for more destructive use of the skill. Basically, the capabilities of the first skill are increased, with a greater amount of power and otherwise more dangerous side-effect of internal damage. The most well-known characteristic of this strike is the "lion's roar" when used encompassing a loud roar over a great area similar to that of the king of beasts. This skill has the power to easily obliterate large structures and steel in one blow.
  
  
• Kyoumou Shishi Dagan [Fierce Lion Bullet] - A skill where Ninsuke shapes his spiritual power into a highly destructive bullet capable of exploding where they hit. He can also use them and release them from his fists for faster execution and even fire them in volleys. This skill is capable of going up against lesser-arrancar Cero with equal and greater force and is capable of blasting through walls and stone with ease.

THE STORY SO FAR

While young, Ninsuke was often a mild-mannered little kid, dying at the age of seven years old, he was often considered for bullying while within the lesser districts of the soul society often by his "peers" for five years. Called a gopher due to being someone who usually did what he was told and got whatever was wished for him, he lived a miserable existence often ridiculed and constantly battered with insults about his own worthless character. He was a small and poor kid, and often was very timid and soft-spoken. One day while he was on another errand he would meet a girl who would later become his sister who was known as Vesperia. Bumping into her it was a singular occurrence of which she told him to watch where he was going, and hesitantly and shyly he would respond with "yes" ma'am being on his way.

Vesperia at that first account was worried about Ninsuke due to all the scraps, bruises and less than savory looks on his face so she decided to follow him and watch him in-between her daily duties as a food vendor for her grandfather. After a week of following him, she would see the horrible things he went through beginning to understand him. Abruptly meeting with him once again, she told him that he should defend himself in which he called himself weak much to her anger. For this she punched him in the head and told him that she would begin to teach him how to fight and readily prepared him as a student of her grandfather’s dojo much to his dismay as he knew nothing about martial arts.

Meeting her grandfather, Koutetsu was an interesting experience due to his seemingly eccentric nature and perverted mannerisms towards Vesperia (they weren't real grandfather and granddaughter) in which Vesperia would often retaliate with her own kick towards his face or his privates. Through this Ninsuke thought the relationship was strange wanting to not be a part of it but when the training seriously, Koutetsu also grew serious in his explanation on what martial arts meant and the principles of learning martial arts. Ninsuke was amazed at the long genuine history of martial arts. His master taught him about Chinese martial arts as although he was from Japan, he'd traveled to China embedding himself into their culture after mastering the forms and techniques of Wing Chun. Ninsuke would be taught the basics of martial arts and be told to practice making a fist and punching forward visualizing that he wished to punch through his opponent.

He practiced daily at the dojo, over a thousand times his form due to he himself wishing to become stronger, maybe gaining that strength through tireless effort. He placed all his time and effort into learning this form, until one day he would need to run an errand for Koutetsu with Vesperia. During this said errand, he would meet with his former "masters" as they would begin to taunt him. Vesperia wanted to break in but said that "he would have to learn himself" in his mind. Something was unlocked in him due to this, all the pent up frustrations released into his one punch showcased that he wanted to change himself going on to striking them with the same skills taught to him by Koutetsu. However, he was still in trouble due to the fact that he was indeed outnumbered in which Vesperia stepped in attacking the peers for gathering weapons to strike down the young Ninsuke. Effortlessly she did this, showcasing a great deal of skill, and fluidity in her movements. Ninsuke felt that he also wanted this strength, and used Vesperia as a pillar to obtaining this great strength.

Time would pass and Ninsuke would be left alone by his malignant peers, his timidity would become better (though only by a small margin). And continuously he would be taught the basics of Wing Chun and begin to learn more about Taichi (absorbing ones energy and releasing it back into themselves), such as the ability to "chain" punch and what not in which case he attacked in a multitude of strikes cultivating and tempering his body. He learned that Vesperia had been within the Soul Society 100 years before Ninsuke and Koutetsu, 300 years. Constantly sparring against Vesperia, he would be taunted by her fighting ability but wished to fight her at least once every day to see his own growth in combat. Ninsuke over the course of 50 years would grow stronger, being so far greater than normal that he'd mastered the Wing Chun training beginning to create his own style of combat after being told by Koutetsu that "form was an illusion" after practicing forms each time. Finally, he started to think of ways to improve his own style instead of staying in form asking both Koutetsu and Vesperia how to do so.

Vesperia would tell him about an underground fighting ring in the lower courts, said to be highly dangerous but bring a wealth of interesting fighters that had abilities in martial arts in their previous lives as well but was told not to go their considering the dangerous situations that he could go through. He felt a bit of arrogance shoot up from himself though wanting to test his abilities leading him to not follow Vesperia's words going off to enter into one of the underground tournaments. While there, he would be greeted by rogues and bandits who wished to take his possessions by killing him. Killing was something he was always taught not to do unless his opponent wished to destroy him. Due to not killing in the span of fifty years of training, he'd only incapacitated them catching the eyes of spectators who saw him as "fresh meat". However, they were stopped by a man who ran the underground tournaments thinking him a good catch. His first battle was rough until he started to understand his opponents and how dirty real life-or-death battles truly were. At which he began to fine-tune his style towards such combat. The leader was impressed by his skill and talent though he did think that it was too simple in such a world of violence. Afterward, Ninsuke had left making a deal to come back to fight unknown of the gambling ring that the man had within the underground battles. His sister however, was worried after he'd came back with scratches and bruises which he said were from training.

For an entire month he had been fighting within the underground in order to showcase his abilities and perfect his skills, also learning of the arts of dirty fighting and attacking without honor which had led to him almost losing some of his fights. The leader saw him as a great asset due to both his attitude of gaining strength and his ability. Considering him into joining his gang, of which his sister would interrupt after seeing enough beating Ninsuke without much effort for doing exactly what she told him not to do making her angry as a result. However, this would backfire with Ninsuke being held hostage from such a building and instead Vesperia being placed into the ring to fight. She would use her skills to easily pull victories on account of her strength but feel increasing depressed over her brother who was at the knife. Vesperia would finally fight an opponent on par with herself after so many battles, a swordsman who utilized an iaijutsu draw with incredible spiritual power to cut through whatever would be in his way, an assassin.

This battle would teach Ninsuke much of his sisters limits (or lack thereof). As with the battle becoming more and more hectic and insane with speed and skills, his sister would unveil a technique she had never used before. A technique known as "Bone Crusher Strike" which would one day become the signature technique of Ninsuke. With this she would win the battle, but not be able to leave thanks to there being too much potential in her skills for the gang leader to allow for her to leave. So she would try to restrain her using her fatigue in order to defeat her. Ninsuke would try to help her, but he was indisposed, it would seem hat they would both be in trouble if not for Koutetsu's arrival in which he would take down a multitude of the muscle that the leader had showing skill that surpassed Ninsuke and Vesperia as well as using their own force against them. He would even destroy the arena with his barehands, ending the circuit of brutal battles and taking both his students home. The leader would swear against the old man and his students for ruining the underground fighting after he gained back his former glory.

Ninsuke was punished for what he had done with incredible rigorous work and training from hell from both Vesperia and Koutetsu. He would ask his sister Vesperia how she had performed such a technique as he never knew she could control spiritual power like Shinigami could. Because of her higher than normal spiritual power, he did see that she usually got hungry (though he did as well though he didn't think anything of it). Vesperia had cultivated her spiritual power attuning it with her strength and making it her greatest weapon in combat. Immediately, Ninsuke would ask to be taught such a skill, but due to his earlier problems she would immediately say no, beating him up once again for insinuating or even asking to be taught something after what he had done. This saddened him, making him wish to work harder to understand his own skills leading him to do both the training of himself and the training of his master in order to learn more.

50 more years had passed since that time, and much of the experiences of the young Ninsuke had led to him becoming even greater of a warrior. Within this time, he had begun to perfect his skills. Due to his body-type and size (even Vesperia was taller than him), his blows were weaker, having far less power than a larger body-type. So what he decided to do was created a style of using both his own center of gravity and rotational force to increase the force of his strikes and allow him to "dance" across the field. Much practice against Vesperia and Master Koutetsu had led to him learning and developing its strengths to make it so that the weaknesses of his form were non-existent. And though he had never actually beaten them but had gained the advantage of a determination unlike any other they'd seen.

However this would begin to crumble through what would be a long-forgotten enemy of fifty years ago. The man who's armada of thugs would arise again and gain ground from the lawless district even strengthening it into a superpower for the Rukonagi's lower populace. He would make due with his revenge once again using his strength in numbers as his main power to destroy a vast section of the Rukonagi which would also lead to a situation of destroying Koutetsu's dojo while Ninsuke was training. Arriving back at the dojo's burnt remains seeing Vesperia angry, he would stop her before she would run forward to try and strike down the "bastard" and said that Koutetsu should have killed him instead of letting him go. Vesperia wanted to show him a piece of her own mind, but Ninsuke said that he would take full responsibility for it and the aching souls that were affected showcasing a fierce tension around himself as he'd moved to strike down that man and his gangsters himself telling Koutetsu and Vesperia not to go.

Arriving within the lawless districts, he was attacked quickly, but due to his reflexes and incredible sense of footwork, he'd defeated all assailants with even greater ease than 50 years ago. As if a master of his craft he took on the armies upon armies of thugs with his own hands weapons or not, his body was considered stronger than any weapon. The wreckage and mass of destruction with the young lads physical skills had led the place of battle to be destroyed and tarnished due to his anger. He had elected that he would break the gang leader whose cowardice led to his own demise when an actual hollow showed up thanks to the flaring aura the young Ninsuke had flared. Electing to devour Ninsuke after devouring the gang leader, Ninsuke would go on to defend himself from the battle.

Due to never facing an enemy such as a hollow before, the battle was rigorous and a great deal of close calls had arisen had the young lad not cleared his head and fought back with a great deal of strength. Though even after showcasing that strength it was indeed an even match until Shinigami had arrived defeating the foe with greater ease. Ninsuke was dumbfounded at such strength and after being asked about how he survived against the monster, he told them the entire truth of the matter. This would lead him to be considered a criminal thanks to him destroying a great part of the lawless zone, as well as the other mobs of gangsters who were part of the battle. Locked within a cell, Ninsuke would not cry, he would not regret what he had done considering it as worth the effort even if it condemned him. Showing that he had fully taken responsibility for his actions.

The same shinigami who had announced that he was going to jail would come to ask him another question. Due to his skills and unusually strong spiritual energy, he would be considered as a shinigami having all the charges dropped. He needed time to consider this, as he had heard of the dangers of shinigami and training. But after one night of thoughts within his cell, he thought it a great way to become stronger deciding to become apart of the shinigami military force and entering into the academy.

He would visit Vesperia and Koutetsu a day before going into the academy. Vesperia was angry at him for making her worry and Koutetsu was surprised after he'd shown up thinking he'd died from the battle against the Hollow even thinking of placing a headstone to represent his passing. He would tell them about the opportunity and said he would go on to become a shinigami and officially fight in order to understand what it was to truly be strong. Vesperia would wish to fight him one last time to see how strong he had gotten now then, for their final battle. It was a fierce fight, and all that Ninsuke learned from her had been placed into the battle fiercely and determined to win. Ninsuke would come out the victor with a slight margin showcasing that same hard-work he'd been in-tuned to for so many years. After defeating her, Vesperia would give him two gifts; one gift was a crimson scarf that Vesperia had always worn herself (in the pic). She would attack him with her skill the Bone Crusher Strike electing that for him to use it he would have to decipher how she'd done it and that would prove his own strength.

With this he became a part of the Shinigami Academy to train for six years in the basics of being one. He first entered into the tenth squad. The work was hard but he often trained, cleaned, and did as he had always done in terms of gaining the chance to become a seated official, which would come eight years later due to his curious nature of combat after he'd proven himself in a hollow attack to protect the Rukonagi. This would lead to him becoming a member of the Second Squad after, thanks to his martial training and skills. It was within one hundred years that he would learn how to use Bone Crusher Strike, create and perfect his martial prowess to become a high ranking member of the Soul Society (his ability actually exceeds his ranking however due to Marechiyo Omaeda having influence he was not, despite being a weaker than himself. This is rectified by the fact that Ninsuke cares not for his position so long as he gets to protect and use his fullest potential in combat, holding no grudges towards Omaeda because of it. Surprised at his own growth and to be a better Shinigami, he would show great enthusiasm as a strong fighter and newly appointed third seat of the great Onmitsukidō organization.
