Deeply breathing in some clean fresh summers air Keigo strolled through the streets of Karakura. The town was bright and cheerful the sky a deep blue and not a cloud in the way of the burning sunshine. It was the summer holidays the kind of limbo between finishing another and last year at high school 6 weeks of no school and exams, in a way that meant no more high school shinigans but the group would still be friends and keep in touch seeing as people wee going into work places now, wow they were getting old.

He looked up having to shield his eyes with a hand from the sun as he wondered what the others were up to, he could picture Mizuiro with his girlfriend like he always was lately, Ichigo was probably doing his shinigami thing that guy's free time was limited and the girls were all probably doing the girly things girls did, he frowned at the thought what did girls do shopping and other shit he guessed Chad was maybe staying at home he seemed to like his own company that guy and Ishida was more than likely to be reading some intellectual stuff. Hmm, so who to call.

His eyes suddenly widened seeing a dark winged figure fly by momentarily as it blocked out by its huge shadow. What in the hell was that! Keigo started to sweat he breathed quick as he clutched onto his other hand ''Ahhh what do I do....Im no Shinigami....hey what am I thinking I could be a hero just as the next guy'' he smirked to himself if only there were some girls around for his to impress right now.

Ichigo had anxiously awaited some news but he never let it show he was calm it was just some stupid letter no biggie and if he didn't get in then there was always another path to go down he hadn't yet thought of that other path to take his life but he'd figure something out he usually made quick decisions.

He was already up, sort of he may still be lazing about up in his room but he was pre occupying himself with some book he'd picked up well Chad had leant it to him all about this rock band that were due to perform in Karakura town next month and Chad seemed to think they were great but Ichigo would need a bit more persuasion which was why he was reading up on them.

A hollows presence had however interrupted and he knew he should go investigate. Setting aside the book he got up and stretched a little before pulled out his substitute shinigami badge pushing it to his chest and forcing his shinigami form out of his human body. He made sure to lay his body on his bed still hoping Yuzu would just think he was still asleep.

He walked outside his bedroom and jumped the flight of stairs making sure to land quietly of course but he see Yuzu and Karin who hadn't spotted him not that they'd be able to see him anyway. He walked right passed them only for Karin to narrow her eyes in suspicion she could see him clearly although it appeared Yuzu couldn't. His dad was in the clinic working already so he probably wouldn't catch him but he could still probably pick up on his reiatsu leaving the house.

There by the front door was a bunch of mail, Ichigo searched through it before finding the letter he needed an flash stepped from sights reappearing ontop of his roof from there he could pinpoint where this hollow was and he could pick up Keigo strangly but he tucked the letter into his shinigami robes and flash stepped across the roofves until he reached Keigo who was talking him to himself. ''Who are you talking to?'' Ichigo suddenly said approaching him and sighed already knowing the answer to that.

Keigo watched the skies still trying to find that so called hollow lurking around. He had once witnessed Aizen's tremendous power and hadn't collapsed in his presence so he could stand in front of it at least but he needed a sword or something to batter the hollow with he looked around ''Ah-ha!'' he said spotting the next best thing he walked over to a worn old fence and tugged on a loose wooden pole pulling it out almost falling over and maybe completely destroying a neighbours fence!

He took hold the wood pole by two hands and see the hollows shadow circling over him in the air its shadow crossing him multiple times. ''Alright you piece of shit I can take you on by myself!'' he called up to it seeing it all of a sudden stopped circling and dived for Keigo who shrieked in surprise ''Ahhh! im sorry I wont call you a piece of shit again!'' he wailed as he tried to run away from it.

He hide round a corner and heard the wonged hollow land just meters away from him. He could make a sneak attack and appear from the corner he was hiding round and strike! he did however almost jump out of his skin hearing a deep yet strangly familiar voice he turned his head ''I-Ichigooooo!!!'' he yelled man was he glad to see him. ''I got this hollow under control im hiding and planning to surprise attack!'' he said he had proably been just talking to himself like he did sometimes.
