[Shoshi Ana]

Oh and there it was, he'd just given her the chance to kick his butt which had Ana smiling. "Are you sure? Because you know I'm going to beat you but hey if you're giving me permission to prove it then I'm not going to knock it back" she added innocently enough. Oh yea she'll sure show him! Then again she was being a bit cocky now wasn't she.

"I didn't sense anything at all from there... maybe something really weird is going on, perhaps there is like something really big and dangerous in there. Come to think of it she didn't want to go into the basement alone" Ana said tapping her chin as she thought the event all over, the woman also seemed to want to get out of the basement rather quickly too. "Yep I'm sure something bad is going on in that house" she nodded her head.

"Sure why not" she said shrugging her shoulders, she wanted to see how bad this boss was or if Ichigo was just making stuff up about his boss. What was he worried Ana might get along with the woman. She smiled a little at his comment about his boss being an asshole to him, yea people could be like that sometimes she imagined, well she knew people could. Hard to imagine at times though.

Well it was good to know Ichigo was planning on having fun... only what did he do for fun? Ana didn't really know she was normally either training with him or hunting Hollows with him or annoying him when he was studying, what he actually did for fun though she had no idea.

She followed Ichigo up the stairs, she didn't even know this place was here, how strange. "Are you afraid of your boss Ichigo?" Ana whispered wondering what was taking him so long.

He knew he'd get a reaction from Ana the moment he confirmed he'd battle her, being hot headed as she was she didn't disappoint and seemed up for that to go ahead. He nodded a little ''Course im sure....don't worry ill go easy on you...being a girl and everything'' he provoked her further. To be honest the extra practice would do him good especially seeing as the Quincies were now rebelling and trying to declare a war.

So Ana hadn't sensed anything from the house either, seemed weird that both of them were at a good level of spiritual communication yet felt so little from just mere ghosts lurking around, seeing ghosts was just the tip of the iceburg for a gifted human and a substitute shinigami. Ichigo looked uncertain about it all, and Ana recalled the woman not wanting to go down the basement alone she knew something was up and probably didn't tell anyone in fear of looking stupid or crazy. Ichigo sighed feeling a little guilty. It would still be in the back of his mind for a while he be trying to figure it out, maybe now look for excuses to go to the house to see and learn some more about it.

He knew Ikumi could possibly take to Ana well considering they both had a knack for pushing Ichigo's buttons getting wound up. But he was more trying to drop off the letter and escape conversation with Ikumi because then she'd probably start remembering all the times he'd been late or just not turned up.

Walking into the small office Ichigo looked about, no sign of her which wasn't good but he put the letter down on her desk and heard Ana enquiring about his fear level of his boss, he did have an unusual relationship with her. ''No...I mean shut up shes probably listening!'' he answered her before from nowhere a figure appeared at a door on the other side. She walked out of the shadow and into the light before smiling. Ichigo looked a little baffled not knowing what Ikumi would do next.

Of course it didn't take her long and Ikumi abruptly ran at Ichigo before grabbing him by his wrist and cuffing him to the bottom of her desk. ''Really!! come on now'' Ichigo sighed before he looked tired of her nonsense. Where the hell did she get actual police looking cuffs from. ''You! you think im stupid and fall for your little tricks see how you like not having your freedom'' she scolded him. Ichigo looked disinterested ''Yeah, except im not a criminal!'' he snapped. Ikumi suddenly felt another presence before she turned her evil looking expression into a softer one and looked to Ana 'Oh, hello...friend of Ichigo's I presume so nice to meet you'' she said before she gave Ichigo a glare. ''Geez talk about split personality'' Ichigo thought.

Oh a girl! He'd take it easy on her because she was a girl! Really! Oh he was in so much trouble now, now he'd done it as she glared at him and huffed "Oh is that how it is. I see. Well then I'm going to give you such a beating it'll make your ancestors dizzy. You'll regret you ever said it, trust me" she said folding her arms. Hah, a girl, what he think she was a weakling, please, she'd show him, she'd make him eat his words, oh yea he was going to pay for that, the little shit.

Ana smiled a little and looked around before spotting someone coming from a room, there was silence for a moment before Ana realized this must have been Ichigo's boss. She was quick too Ana would give her that much, within moments she'd handcuffed Ichigo to the desk. Ana couldn't help but let out a little laugh. It was rather amusing to watch actually. "Ah that's what you get when you let your guard down around a girl Ichigo" Ana said sarcastically before laughing again.

Looking to his boss she nodded her head and bowed a little "Yes pleasure to meet you. I have to say I like your style so far" she added smiling before glancing to Ichigo once more and scoffed a laugh. "I'm Ana by the way. I hope you don't mind I was helping Ichigo out earlier... but am, he wont be much good if he is cuffed to the table now will he?" she said looking to Ikumi.

[Kurosaki Ichigo]

Looks like his plan to provoke her worked perfectly she was kinda mad now right ''Save that anger for the fight dummy'' he said to her with a smirk. He knew all too well that girls were equally as damaging heck he'd battled against some pretty strong women in the past, take Yoruichi for example. Ichigo could only hold back a very slight laugh ''Isnt it usually me who loses their cool?'' he began but she did seem pretty het up about it ''Yeah give it your all, be good to try out some new techniques hope your ready'' he added. ''Oh and a question, hollow or no hollow in this challenge?'' he asked her he had full control of it but still he remembered how that last went down like.

Ichigo had of course been well and truly had by his own boss, was this woman even human, she was like a tank that just kept on ploughing on through and kept on going till she got her way. Ichigo had an indifferent look on his face, ''Yeah yeah, real funny'' he said to Ana before looked to the cuffs on his left wrist observing it to see if he could break it somehow.

''Ana, im Ikumi..'' she began as she folded her arms looking towards Ichigo ''I rung you how many times and you ignore me!'' she said. Ichigo scowled ''Oh im sorry mum!'' he snapped with sarcasm. ''I should be with all the trouble you get yourself into'' she sighed. She sat down and lifted her feet up resting on the table with Ichigo have to dodge her feet to avoid being hit. ''Hmmm..'' Ikumi began ''So this nice girl has been you out aswell, how many did you actually get done?'' she asked. ''Enough'' Ichigo replied as he suddenly clicked something on the cuff's only for Ikumi to look alarmed ''Stay there, don't move'' she said as she went over some paperwork. She went down the list of names and then made a sound of approval ''Seems to be in order...'' she grinned.

She noticed the letter and leaned forwards reaching it before going back to her slouching in her chair before opening and reading. ''Well she's requested you again Ichigo, cant imagine why'' she smiled. Ichigo just glared at her before he angrily broke the cuffs and smirked ''Yes! ah ha! what kind of shit those things made of'' he added.

"Normally yes" she added, he was normally the one to loose his cool, constantly shouting something like 'shut up already'. It was a bit fun actually to get Ichigo all riled up especially when he was training probably because he actually seemed to work harder then, so Ana thought anyway. Though in most cases Ana didn't have the intention to rile him up, tables were turned today it seemed and how could they not be, he said he'd go easy on her because she was a girl, naturally she was angry at that.

Ana smirked a little, oh she was ready she'd give him a run for it, was he ready? Well actually was she ready? Didn't matter she wasn't going to loose to Ichigo no matter when this fight was she was taking him down! She paused though for a moment when he asked about his Hollow and frowned "That little shit comes out and gets in the way of our fight I'll kick its ass again. Got it Hollow get in the way and you'll regret it... again" she said as if she was talking to Ichigo's Hollow as if it could hear her, could it? Ana then smirked a little tucking a loose stand of hair behind her ear "Of course if you think you need your Hollow to try beat me..." she trailed off leaving Ichigo to imagine the rest. Of course just because she had beaten the Hollow once and only just didn't mean she could do it again but if it did come out, she'd stand up to it, at least it allowed her to improve her skills a bit.

Watching Ichigo get handcuffed was actually pretty funny to Ana she simply gave Ichigo a smile before introducing herself to Ikumi. Watching how Ichigo and Ikumi interacted was rather amusing to Ana she couldn't help but internally laugh. Watching Ichigo fiddling with the handcuffs she made a small face before blinking, who wanted Ichigo again? Watching Ikumi she noticed it was that letter, oh that was the perfect reason to go check the house out again, Ichigo could snoop around for information on what was going on in the house.

Ana shook her head a little "Idiot" she mumbled, breaking the handcuffs in front of his boss seriously did he really want people to think he was on drugs? "Maybe you can visit her again tomorrow Ichigo?" Ana said in reference to Ikumi and the letter she held, if there was something dangerous going on in the house they had just left it would be better to find out sooner and deal with it rather than later and something bad happen.

[Kurosaki Ichigo]

''Hey I do it too'' he said everyone could loose their cool dependant on the situation but he new he had no tolerance what so ever no matter how abiding and honourable shinigami he'd learned to be he still was Ichigo and that meant he got angry quickly had a temper oh and couldn't help making snide comments here and there he meant nothing by them unless he repeated his point firmly and seriously then it was just him teasing. He wondered though if Ana had learned anything new, had any tricks up her sleeve guess he'd just had to wait and see.

Ichigo frowned a little it didn't seem to bother her either way hollow or not but Ichigo had already decided not to he may tap into some of his hollows twisted reiatsu but not fully bring him out he didn't have to rely on his hollow at least anymore maybe he'd throw in a bit of his fullbring power for good measures too. Ichigo looked a bit perplexed was she trying to communicate with his hollow through him he shook his head ''He says bring it on'' he spoke with a smirk going along with it. He was impressed with Ana's self confidence seemed she wasn't going to back down.

''Stop arguing with her she's right'' Ikumi suddenly interrupted with a smile not sitting too well with Ichigo of course. She suddenly looked surprised when Ichigo broke through he handcuffs ''How...did you...'' she began before shrugging it off. ''You need go back there tomorrow'' she told Ichigo who got to his feet tossing the broken cuffs aside. ''Yeah I don't mind actually she probably needs plenty of help here and there'' he said. Ikumi frowned as she fiddled with a pen before standing up and feeling Ichigo's forehead ''Are you ill!! this wont do you cant be ill that means you'll skip work'' she sighed. Ichigo pushed her hand away ''Im fine...'' he replied. ''Since when do you want to go to that woman's house? hmmm....now im worried'' she said. ''Well i'll have to get in writing that your not gonna suddenly ring me like wow im sooo sick im not coming in today'' she informed him. ''I promise that's good enough'' he replied then looked to Ana hearing her ''You coming along tomorrow?'' he asked.

Yes he did do it, she was aware of that much indeed but she kept the comment to herself and simply nodded her head once. Of course she didn't want to face his Hollow at all, it was stronger, faster and far more ruthless than she was, it had so many advantages and could easily overpower her. And yet somehow Ana had managed to beat it last time, probably because she was stubborn, if his Hollow did come out she'd have to think quickly but she wouldn't loose to it, no bloody way.

For a moment she was a little puzzled, wait he was playing with her wasn't he, the Hollow hadn't really said anything now had it? Yea he had to be messing around with her. "Good" she said smiling a little though slightly frowned, she was pretty sure he was just kidding because if he could communicate with the Hollow in this state then that was very interesting and apart of her wanted to explore that more maybe drag Urahara along to test it but ah, alas it was not the case and Ichigo was simply pulling her leg.

Ana blinked a few times before nodding her head "Yea, if you want... if that's ok" she said looking to Ikumi, if not she'd go anyway, she could distract the lady while Ichigo snooped around and did his shinigami thing and back him up if he needed it. She was curious herself as to find out what was going on in the house and protect the woman inside. If she could see the spirits and was aware something was wrong with her house then she too was in danger and that wasn't an option.

"So are we... going now?" Ana asked Ichigo wondering if he had anything else he needed to do or if they could go off. Maybe Ikumi had something else she wanted him to do.

[Kurosaki Ichigo]

It had been quite some time since he'd been out of control and lost his sanity with Ana's help and Urahara he'd gotten it under control. He had learned to live with it and it was now a help rather than hindrance. At lest those dark times were over and now he could take on his opponents with ease and with fear of himself. However he still wasn't aware of the injury his hollow caused Ana he would have been truly sorry but he wasn't aware and it would probably stay that way for a while.

Ichigo seeing pleased he managed to fool Ana his hollow couldn't speak through him to others that would be frightening not to mention odd. ''Im messing with you...he's dormant until I say so'' he said. He may not speak with others that way but Ichigo could communicate with him, he could hear his hollow he was part of Ichigo's soul and therefore part of him mainly during battles if Ichigo decided to bring him to the surface. He had other techniques to beat his enemies rather than a hollow mask.

Ana was planning on coming with him which he was positive about because he could get on with searching the house top to bottom and try to at least perform a konso on one of the ghosts see if his reaitsu connected with them. ''Yeah to be honest that woman will wanna chat to you again like she does'' he said to her. He planned on checking out the basement that also seemed a no go area for the woman.

Ikumi sighed ''Its up to you...she wont be expecting you but im guessing you wanna get her tomorrow jobs done now'' she said. Ichigo paused then nodded ''Uh...yeah that's the reason'' he said leaving Ikumi suspicious. Ichigo looked to Ana ''Not that I know of...if you don't mind going now?'' he said to her. It was bothering him now and it was all he could think of and it made him think that the Quincies had something to do with it, they were showing up all over the place, not bad for a specie that are supposedly extinct.

''Lets get going'' Ichigo said saying his goodbyes to Ikumi. ''Don't be late for work tomorrow!'' she called as he shut the door.

She figured as much as she gave Ichigo a look. "I figured as much. I was just giving you the benefit of the doubt" she added quietly though was still curious to say the least she simply would keep it to herself. She was actually glad the Hollow staid the way it was and didn't come out, it freaked Ana right out though it would anyone with half a brain really.

Yes women did like to talk there was that and Ana was sure she could get some information from her while Ichigo did his thing, she just had to work it right, even she could do that at times guaranteed. Well if Ichigo's boss was ok with it then she was too, though she wasn't really asking for Ikumi's permission she was simply being polite. Nodding her head she looked to Ichigo, wait he wanted to do it now? Ah, yea ok she guessed now better than later.

When they'd left his work Ana looked to Ichigo. "Well I like your boss, she has class about her" she added giving him a small smirk before walking down the stairs back into the street. To think as tough as he was his boss still handcuffed him to the table. "Do you have your badge?" she suddenly asked him, he was serious about doing this now wasn't he?

Ichigo guessed Ana might not mind chatting with the woman while he made his investigations in fact he could probably do it while in Shinigami form. The woman might be able to see him but it was a good test to see if she could see ghosts perfectly well then it would explain quite a bit. The fact he hadn't picked up anything from that house could mean a number of things, the ghosts did not want to be known of but it could be that because when he did focus he could see them. Or someone or something was putting a barrier around them or house itself.

Ichigo suddenly snapped out of his thoughts ''Sorry, was thinking about some things'' he said before he paid his full attention to her. Ana seemed to like his boss, oh she would the two of them were almost similar and would get on well especially when Ikumi some how cuffed him. ''Hmm..just must me I guess'' he began. ''Well depending on how his all goes I may have to miss work tomorrow, I'd need to give Rukia a call let her know what's going on'' he ended.

Ichigo walked down the steps and onto the street and glanced back down the road where the woman's house was he walked and kept moving before Ana made a point, his badge. ''Uhh...'' he said feeling his pockets before he nodded ''Yeah, I usually carry it with me'' he said before the house was in sight. Ichigo stopped focusing on the house trying to read the spirit levels. ''You getting anything from the house?'' he said maybe Ana could.
