Things had been pretty hectic recently a lot had gone on and there was way more about to hit everyone, it effected everyone and Ichigo himself was feeling that pressure. Every time he stepped out into the town it reminded him of all the lives that would perish if he didn't beat Juha. He just couldn't lose this fight there would be serious consequences if he lost things would be run very differently he began to wonder what the Quincies would have in store for him, if he failed it would probably mean he'd not only lose the battle but his life too he hoped to become a fully fledged shinigami after that but by no means too early he was way too young to die. But his main concern right now was getting himself ready for a fight of his life he had to push his body to its limits and train hard.
He had to still tell his sisters the truth, maybe he should do that now? it felt a little awkward to just go downstairs and confess something so serious and out of the blue. He'd probably ask Isshin to back him up and join him in telling them. Besides Ichigo needed to clear his mind get into a more focused state and he usually went for a run to escape perhaps he should do just that get some laps around the town build up some stamina.
Throwing on a hoodie pulling it up over his head and looking round his room for something to distract him he grabbed his cell and earphones before tucking them into a pocket and running down the stairs passing his sisters ''I'll be back in while'' he called them both knowing Isshin was about somewhere to watch over them. He stepped outside breaking into running down the street as he put in his ear phones listening to something to block everything else out as he set himself a challenge 30 or 40 laps of the town. |

She now knew Ichigo was about to really dig up his power origin and where it came from and who he really is, she had no idea she was crushing on a royal! but if she did ever find out she'd probably be funny about it and bow to him just to see his reaction which would probably be dismissing but still it was a little worrying that Ichigo was in line to be the head of a royal family in Soul Society it was so strange to think of him like that.
Tucking her hairpins back into her hair she looked down watching her flat shoes one in front of the other as she walked, she really hoped Ichigo could defeat Juha Bach, this man seemed impossible to even exist! But could he defeat him? she didn't know all of what Ichigo was capable of she had witnessed some out of this world power bursts from him in the past thanks to his hollow but it wasn't him he didn't fight like that thing he didn't brutally murder his opponents and cut up their bodies until there was nothing left but recently she hadn't even seen him use his hollow mask in ages perhaps he just didn't need him anymore.
Looking up she reached a corner and before she knew it her forehead bumped into Ichigo's chest causing her to stumble back. ''Owie...owie'' she muttered rubbing her forehead before composing herself she suddenly looked up seeing a guy and instantly he was just another hoodie wearing recluse but she looked closer and widened her eyes when she realised it was Ichigo, she'd been so in thought she hadn't even picked up his reaitsu how could that be, she must of really been within herself just now. ''Kurosaki-Kun!'' she began smiling she hadn't recognised him without seeing his orange hair first. ''Uh, s-sorry didn't see you coming'' she added. |

Despite trying to block everything out with music Ichigo still had his thoughts interrupt he never really got worried he had doubts occasionally but he didn't let it waver his ability to fight. It was always how much he wanted to win that pushed him through fights even if he was beaten down he got right back up and forced his body to keep on fighting an death wasn't even in his thoughts but with going up against Juha he was fearful he didn't know what would happen or what this Juha would have up his sleeve, what kind of attacks did he have and could he keep up with them.
He was really relying on the training he was about to receive, he knew he'd have to bring out his Quincy power it would give him a boost but also he was told by Isshin he would learn the right path of getting a zanpakuto, so did that mean Zangetsu wasn't real? that he didn't give him all the power Ichigo really had and most of it was being hidden and out of his reach if that was true then maybe he could be at a level he didn't even know was possible. What were the zero division members even like he had met one of them and he seemed like there was more to him than first appearances.
Ichigo snapped out of his thoughts a scowl deepening at the realisation he was overthinking it all way too much, he concentrated on counting laps until he started to feel out of breath but if he did feel that it would only mean he was reaching his stamina's limit and he'd pushed that further. At the moment he wasn't reaching that he'd just keep going and decided to pick up his pace a bit more speeding off before he came into a direct collision with someone and pretty hard too. He moved back from the impact but he stayed on his feet only to see it was Orihime. Ah man he'd probably nearly knocked her out with how fast he was going and the fact he wasn't slowing down round a corner. ''Sorry! sorry Inoue'' he said checking she was ok and hadn't fallen but she seemed fine. He hadn't seen her in a while probably because all this preparation for the war he figured she would be doing her own training and hopefully she'd be up for going to the Soul Palace to train. ''You busy?'' he said. ''I need to ask you something''

Rubbing her forehead Orihime smiled a little she was glad she had quite literally bumped into Ichigo she hadn't a chance to talk to him for a while she had dropped him a text just to ask how things were going, silly question really because she knew he had learned something's about his past and heritage she knew but she didn't know if Ichigo was aware of that because she really wanted to be the one he felt he could talk to about it all get anything off his chest any questions going round in his mind because in all honesty she knew Ichigo had a busy mind and did less talking.
She looked at him seeing he appeared to being doing good, well apart from looking a little stressed out it was still him just without his orange hair on show. She waved her hands in front of her with a smile as he apologised ''Oh no, im fine...tough as nails me'' she laughed. Although he had been running pretty fast was he trying to push himself ready for his training later. ''You were really running just now! im guessing your getting prepared then'' she said. But she looked back up and smiled as he asked if she was busy ''No, no not at all'' she said she did want to catch up with him anyway. She blinked a few times hearing how he wished to ask her something of course her stupid imagination ran with her but she shoved those thoughts away very quickly and nodded ''Of course, anything'' she said but frowned 'anything?' wow what was she saying.
''Uh, lets got to the park, its nice and quiet there, i needed to speak with you about some stuff too'' she suggested not that she was trying to get him somewhere quiet or anything, she could just hear Tatsuki now telling her advise about taking Ichigo somewhere quiet and taking him down or so she had put it! ''I mean its about the war going on'' she added making it clearer what she meant.

Ichigo was currently not sure who knew what about his new discoveries, his dad clearly but he didn't know if he should be calling it out like it was something to be proud of, or hide it and keep it to himself until he understood it all a bit better himself, the latter seemed more appropriate but hiding things was never good but this was different it was personal to Ichigo himself and this was Orihime maybe he'd tell her later explain it all.
He'd been feeling the pressure for sure, if he failed then who knew what the consequences could be he didn't like how Juha had all this planned out in advanced, he'd just been biding his time waiting for the right moment until his power returned and all Quincy would back him up the second he could put his plan into action he must of know Ichigo would be a threat to his plans because he was now a war potential some list of enemies they deemed to be a threat but still he would make sure he stopped all of it. Ichigo did have a blank look on his face hearing Orihime was describing herself to be tough as nails he sighed, then why did he worry every time she went to cross a street. ''Dummy, your an accident walking'' he began. But he had noticed a change in Orihime, her power was different it he didn't know what her limits were but she wanted to go to this war right, he figured she'd trained hard.
''Yeah, sorry about that guess I got lost in thought'' he said he had ben so lost in listening to his music and pushing himself he wasn't concentrating on any presences around him. ''Im just getting ready for some extra training, got to be at the top of my game'' he said to her. He nodded once as she answered she was not that busy, he needed to catch up with her he'd been going off so much and now he wasn't at school anymore he wasn't seeing everyone as much so he defiantly wanted to set aside time for his friends.
He blinked a couple of times before nodded as she suggested to head to the park where it was quiet ''Yeah, good point we shouldn't talk about the Quincy war out in the open for everyone to hear'' he said someone they knew was bound to turn up and wonder what the hell they were talking about. He looked a little confused as she reaffirmed it was about the war going down. ''What else was there then?'' he asked curious there was only the huge war happening that was on his mind maybe something had happened to Orihime? ''Something else happened?'' he questioned her as he walked in the direction of the nearest park.

Orihime could sense Ichigo's uncertainty his reiatsu seemed a little off it wasn't streamlined and had rifts in it he was feeling the pressure presumably he needed to take some time out it was clearly on his mind and bothering him but she would try and help him in any way she couldn't imagine if it was her supposed to of been the one all of Soul Society were relying on to give them the power boost they needed right now.
She suddenly shook her head realising he was talking to her, she could really looked dazed sometimes ''Uh, me!?'' she said pointing a finger at herself as he described her to be a walking accident she laughed a little ''Well...im only bumping into thins twice a day now not as much as I usually do'' she joked. But really she had bumped into a lamp post earlier but she wasn't going to tell Ichigo that. Orihime too had her own plans to take her power to the next level she wanted to take off some of that pressure on Ichigo's shoulders let him know she'd take care of the injured so he didn't need to worry about if any of his friends got hurt she'd be there to make sure they would be fine after the war.
She had begun to walk towards the park it was the best one she new around here, and the biggest. she glanced to Ichigo listening to him before nodding. ''Its ok, you've probably got a lot on your mind right now so I don't blame you'' she said. She'd too would probably want to escape in some music and just take a long walk outside. She had a look of thought though when he brought up some extra training he was due to take part in, so it was true Urahara was preparing for battle. ''You already are at the top of your game...but I guess with Quincies that have abilities ive never seen before Urahara-San will want to refresh your skill'' she said.
She nodded in agreement yeah that's exactly why going to the park was a better option plus she secretly got to spend some time with Ichigo he barely had any free time lately so that was her thinking. But she very quickly looked a little surprised as he questioned her on what else she meant ''Uh...'' she began thinking quickly. ''No, no nothing happens just...catching up with you and all'' she smiled. She walked towards a bench sitting down and looking out to the quit park. She looked back to Ichigo ''Urahara-San had approached you then?'' she asked. ''Ishida told me....'' she added. ''You want to go the Soul Palace to train...don't you'' she said. She sighed a little the zero squad were a very unattainable and powerful group because no one had seen them before they were all so secretive and hidden away so things were getting serious the Soul King lived there. ''I will back you....if you decided to do this'' she smiled towards him.

Ichigo watched Orihime for a moment seeing she was clearly off in her own little world he sighed before waving a hand in front of her and it seemed to work because she suddenly snapped out of it and realised he'd asked her something. ''Yeah, I meant you'' he said maybe she was just accident prone because she had told him how she had been bumping into things ''Well I hope it wasn't a car like before'' he said he could recall her being hit and her being so casual about it he'd run after the person and make sure they would pay if it were him who had been almost knocked over give them a piece of his mind. But little did he know she had just recently walked right into a lamp post it hadn't been too long ago a Quincy wounded her and she was hospitalised.
It was true he had plenty of things on his mind so many questions that were unanswered but right now he'd at least try to ignore the less important ones. He didn't know how long this extra training would be, would he have to leave at some point with Urahara to go to the Soul Palace or fight it out in the war and learn as he went. He shook his head a little ''Im far from it...'' he began ''I thought I was but....turns out ive been imitating a shinigami's power they were never my own'' he said. He was told by Isshin how he'd need to start again and learn from the real Zangetsu. ''What kind of attacks did the Quincy you fought use?'' he suddenly asked her he was curious as to how that fight went down and how Orihime got so beaten.
He looked a little bewildered but nodded eventually as Orihime confirmed she wished to catch up ''Yeah, I haven't really seen any of you guys, sorry about that i'll do better in future to keep in touch'' he said. He had no idea where any of them were going after school or if any were going to the same university he was attending but hopefully they weren't all split up, he could imagine Orihime would get into a university for sure. He sat down glancing to Orihime hearing her ask about Urahara approaching him. ''Yeah, he did not that long ago in fact'' he said. He was about to explain himself but it seemed Ishida had already done so. ''Oh did he now...he needs to stop sticking his damn nose in'' he smirked to himself but he let his smirk fade quickly. ''I mean, right so you know Urahara wants us all to go then?'' he said. He knew Urahara had told he'd need to train with the zero squad but he could not go without all his friends including Orihime. ''I was hoping you'd want to come along too'' he added. He knew Orihime to be someone very gentle she would hardly want to hurt anyone unless she was being threatened. ''Its your decision....you don't have to, if you want to stay my dad and Urahara will be here to watch the town'' he said.
It did however seem Orihime had already made up her mind to back him, he didn't want to see her fight on the front line with Quincy but if she choose to do so he couldn't do much about it. ''Be careful though, you yourself know what the Quincy are capable of'' he said.

Orihime's tendency to drift off into thought was emerging again she only had to get one interesting thought into her mind and she ran with it and it became more extravagant. Her imagination was limitless she was creative so hey maybe she should be a writer now that was getting her drift off in thought! She smiled sheepishly when Ichigo waved a hand in front of her ''S-sorry Kurosaki-Kun im getting lost in my thoughts'' she laughed a little. She was quick to shake her head ''No haha! no cars I like to think im a but more aware these days'' she said hopeful she could remember that it wasn't pleasant and she couldn't remember if it hurt or not she just remembered Ichigo becoming worried for her safety she smiled to herself.
There was nothing worse than to not know who you were, where your power originated from Orihime herself was finding that difficult to understand just where did her shun shun rikka come from? she knew it was exposure to being around Ichigo's reaitsu that awakened it but why that particular power? she wasn't sure but now Ichigo had some answers so it seemed but it was one thing after another with him. She knew he had loads of potential back when he just learned his bankai you could just tell he had only just tapped the surface of what he could do and now finally he would be able to really get to the height of his capability. Her expression turned a little saddened when Ichigo told her he was far from his best right now why did the way he said that worry her all of a sudden. But he did explain it a but further the path of power he was on was almost a fake, like he said imitating and copying a shinigami's basic power that wasnt his own when really he should of co-ordinated his Quincy power into it as well she guessed. ''So....you just start again right'' she said. ''Don't worry there's time'' she ended with some reassurance.
She placed a finger to her bottom lip in thought at Ichigo's question, she had recently been attacked by a Quincy who completely beat her and put her in hospital but she was it as a lesson an experience she did not die so she could only take some positives from it. ''Well....they didn't even use a bow and arrow you know how Quincy's are supposed to they had their own techniques...some kind of form he took on he called it something but I don't remember...sorry'' she said regrettably. She wished she could help Ichigo prepare for the battle and ease his worries and pressure.
She tilted her head to one side and smiled glad Ichigo was going to keep in touch, she knew it could be difficult in the current situation but she didn't know if he was going to continue studying after the war or just stick with his job. Either way she wasn't going to stop talking to him she'd make sure of it, besides she had something she desperately needed to confess to him it was just timing was holding her back. How could she tell him now sure it was the perfect opportunity and she could really explain herself since it was just him right now. She looked at him in thought should she just blurt it out right now? she could imagine her doing so and the confused look Ichigo may have, she shook her head, no it wasn't right to dump her feelings on him this very second he was already trying to figure out some revelations and it may effect his performance in the war if she told him right now. Ichigo needed his friends and a friend she would be supporting him rather than confusing him further. ''Its ok, as long as you do'' she smiled she had his number he was only a call away.
She gave a reaffirming nod so Urahara had spoken to him, it was his idea to go train with the zero squad they would put Ichigo on the right track for complete control over his power who knew what he would be like after the training and when he actually joined the war she just hoped it was enough to defeat Juha Bach. She tried to hold back a big smile as Ichigo got mad about Ishida getting involved and approaching her about it first. ''Yeah he's only just told me yesterday though so its still news to me'' she said. She let her smile disappear as she looked in front of her. ''Yes...he told me the invitation to go was there if I choose to'' she said. She quickly looked back to Ichigo as he had hoped she would want to go she blinked a couple of times before nodding firmly. ''Of course!'' she perked up more. ''How could I not go were friends right we have to help each other out'' she confirmed. But she knew why Ichigo was making sure of her decision. ''Your worried I may get hurt in the fight'' she sighed she knew Ichigo wasn't keen on her getting involved in some dangerous stuff but she wanted to. ''I know what im doing...'' she smiled towards him ''Ive already told Urahara I wish to help out Unohana with first aid and healing the wounded'' she said.

Seeing how he knew Orihime's tendency to drift into her own thoughts he had tried to get her out of another long imaginative vision she was conjuring up, who knew what she daydreamed about, what weird things to eat together next perhaps? He sighed a little ''No, no its ok I'd rather that then Keigo Mizuiro's weird outbursts'' he said picturing Keigo coming out with some strange ideas ''At least you keep you imagination in check Keigo actually acts on his weird mind'' he almost smirked. It seemed Orihime had got a whole lot better at being familiar with her surroundings sure she was an airhead sometimes but she surprised him here and there with what she was capable of.
Orihime's power seemed to be one that had no origin it wasn't like any other, he had seen healing techniques but they actually healed a wound and closed it up but Orihime's version wasn't similar it reversed time like none he had ever witness, it was remarkable and she had saved his life on a few occasion bringing him from the dead once maybe even twice but he was grateful for that but he wondered if his luck would run out soon he couldn't depend on Orihime being with him in every battle. He glanced to the floor in thought of what this war could result in he was warned if he obtained greater power than Juha then he couldn't return to the human world because he would no longer be able to control his reaitsu leaking and could have consequences but he would just have to see how this war panned out and go from there. Glancing back to Orihime he nodded ''Pretty much, start again but on the right path...'' he said 'It's like i've wasted so many years getting a false set of power'' he added.
He had asked Orihime reluctantly about her battle with a Quincy and he got that she may not remember much of it because she was beaten down and badly. ''Its ok, anything will help'' he told her. He had an inkling that these Quncies were new super breed ones that didn't resemble the old style bow and arrow Quincies back when Soul Society first fought them. These were different and had a wide range of use of weaponry they didn't jut use bow's but the more they learnt about them the better.
He would make sure to keep up to date with all his friends some of them weren't going to a university and were already planning to go out into the world of work but Ichigo found it boring a usual job was a bore to him and he had always held back on his wish to learn more into his favourite writer and just try to see how well he could do besides learning more about something you actually enjoyed didn't feel like work that's the kind of job Ichigo wanted one that just came naturally to him he didn't need to force himself into doing, sure his errand job was just to tide him over money wise but he had bigger plans than just that. ''Didn't you apply for any universities? I thought you'd be one of he first in'' he said he didn't know what subject she liked but Orihime had been consistently good in school. He had such little awareness of Orihime's inner battle to confess to him, being that oblivious was surly an art form in itself because no way could Ichigo see it or even grasp the concept of how she felt. He had never had to deal with that sort of thing he was always violence and how to scare your enemies and insulting right back to the person insulting him. But he did show respect towards some people, Orihime being one of them he couldn't ever recall losing his temper with her.
His mind was going round in circles with the war to even pick up any look Orihime was giving he just knew Urahara would get on the case he always helped them out and gave them some more understanding. He had told him to ask what Orihime's plans for the war were and she seemed confident in helping him and Soul Society get the problem sorted. Pleased she wished to be involved he gave her a nod when she spoke of helping one another out ''Yeah, thanks Inoue...'' he said knowing she would do well under Unohana's watch she was similar in forte as Orihime so it made sense. But still Ichigo hid his gut feeling that he would regret taking her with him into a war zone she would be out of his sight if he went off to the front lines and he couldn't protect her if Quincies did happen to invade the 4th Division where Orihime would be. It seemed Orihime picked upon his worry for her without him speaking he frowned a little before sighing ''Alright, yes I am, but just be careful'' he told her he knew what happened last time she battled a Quincy.
