Dai comes across as headstrong, independant and curageous. She knews what she wants from her life and wants to be sombody and not fade into the background. She likes to be heard and is full of ideas. She is once tough cookie, she is very capable taking care of herself. She doesnt let anything get in her way and doesnt put herself or anyone else down. She is easy to get along with and has a very sweet quality about her personality. She is calm and friendly around friends and people she knows but can turn instantly at someone who is threatening. She is often seen as a mother figure to younger children and some of her friends she is always on hand to help a friend in need.

Dai's appearance is what gets her noticed, and is what imakes her unique. She has shiny jet black hair that is long and has a side fringe in front that almost covers on of her eyes. She had dark brown eyes that stand out from most of her features. She has a well proportioned features on her face. She isnt breathtakingly stunning but has a beautiful and pure look.
She has a slender figure with curves in all the right places and wears the typical school uniform on school days and when out hunting hollows she wears a spit long skirt and black legging underneath and mainly loose fitting clothing so she is able to move sharper and freely because sharp movements is what Dai's gift is all about.
history:
Dai was born into a loving and caring family, she was well looked after which is why she thrives now and has grown up to be a nice person. She was never abandoned or left out she was a younger sibling of another sister Junith Itami who was 20 years old. She and Dai didnt have the best of relationships it wasnt sisterly love either. They got very jelous of one another but Dai grew out of it whereas Junith didnt she still kept hatred in the pit of her stomatch it was always there even now when they were grown into teens.
Dai left for school in a bad mood one mornign because of an argument their mother and Junith had. Dai's mother had become seriously ill and was staying at home, Junith put blame on thheir mother for alot of things but Dai hated screaming and shouting so when she heard an arguement she'd quickly escape her house and either rush off to school or sometimes sit up in the huge oak tree they had at the bottom of their garden. It was peaceful up there and no one knew she was there, just the way she liked it. She'd sit up there in thunderstorms sometiems and just watch the rain. Her mother once told her they should of called her Amaya because it meant 'child of night rain' it made sense to Dai, but she still prefered her own name.
Dai knew when she was at school that her family were at home rowing and at each other's throats she felt like the black sheep sometimes maybe she should argue, she started to question herself if she was normal not to argue. She'd ask her father 'am i normal if i dont scream and yell like everyone?'
Despite all her familes disagreements they did have mutual rsspect with Dai and they were all loved equally. Dai was having to deal with this alot until things turned bad and Junith became violent. She had injured theur mother and then ran off. Dai helped her mother with her injry and her father called for medical help seeing as her mother was already seriously ill. Dai went to hospital aling with her father and mother and waited for hours for some news on her condition, doctors and nurses told them she would be fine and recover as she was in a state of shock and was shaken up. After being reassured Dai and her father turned the subject to Junith and about what happened. Dai could guess what had but still where had Junith wondered to. Then from nowhere Dai and her father were told that her mother had passed away after 2 nights of staying in hospital! Dai was still young to understand alot of things but she knew pain and heartbreak from this already. Her family were devestated but Junith never came home they called a search pary and did all the things needed to find a missing person but they never saw her again
It was just Dai and her father that lived together for a year and they got by well it was what gave Dai her headstrong trait making her deal with things. Dai never really got over her mothers death as it wasnt clear what caused it, it coudl of been Junith's attack that trigger off her illness or worsened it but Dai refused to beleive that because she was still her big sister. Dai's mother was bured at the front of the big oak tree that she loved to climb up. She would still always stay up there for hours just watching the sky and what it did when the sunset seeing it light up dark orange and red. It was then that spirits began to contact her when she sat in the tree usually. She was scared stiff at first and would tell her father but he would think she was crazy. But as Dai grew up and blossomed into a mature 15 year old she still spoke to the spirits when up in the oak tree and she helped them out with their problems and had even spotted shinigami and informed them of souls but she just got strange looks from them probably because she wasnt suposed to see them, she didnt know.
At school she proved she was not just a pretty face and that she was a bright girl. It was at school that she discovered things she never knew about herself. She was sometimes picked on because of her sister and everyone knew her and what she had done. But Dai defended her and instead of taking beatigns she foudn a strength she didnt know exsisted. Dai is trying to find out more about this strength and what it will lead to is not known to her.

Dai's power is added strength more strength than ordinary humans. She has fist that can pack an almight punch and sometimes sparks fly from her fist she doesnt know what it is but she took up a combat and karate class rub by Karakura high school after school times. There she found her agility her speed and strength were greatly increased. She soon discovered that she is highly skilled in hand to hand combat and had started to train herself to improve and bring out this power. She has enough experiance to tackled hollows and can take them out with 1 or 2 hits.

Oh no, it was that guy she had been trying to avoid she tried to sink herself lower in her chair and cover her face with her hair as best she could hoping that she wouldnt be spotted.
