*Scroll all the way down for a very short summarization! After all, who would read this whole thing anyways*
Central 47 Chambers:
The Central 47 Chambers serve the Shinigami royalty (the ruling class of all Soul Society). They are made up of 40 wise men, 6 judges, and 1 High Judge (the highest rank of all the 6 other judges) selected from all of Soul Society. They are sealed into an enclave in Seireitei called Seijotokyorin which no one else may enter, regardless of their military or civilian status. They serve as a supreme judiciary organization whose authority puts it in direct control of the legal system. They handle all rulings on Shinigami and souls who have violated prohibitions. Their orders are absolute and no decision has been known to be overturned, especially from the High Judge. Shinigami crimes are judged here, regardless of whether they are committed in the Soul Society or the world of the living. In the event of a Shinigami's execution, they even give leave for the Stealth Force or the Gotei 13 to use lethal force. Their justice is harsh and quick. The 47 do not take kindly to protests or out of order statements. They clearly exhibit tendencies more in line with a military tribunal than a civilian court.
The High Judge:
Of all the members of the Central 47, one of them was by far, the most well known, the most respected, and the most feared, for he was by far the wisest of all the 40 wise men and the oldest of all the 6 judges, and was well respected by the King of Soul Society as his elder. This High Judge was no ordinary soul though, for he was a death god, a soul reaper, or some would call it, a shinigami. Not only ending at that, this High Judge was a former Royal Guard of the First King of Soul Society, and from there, became royalty and a teacher of the Son of the First King. Hundred of years had passed by since he was a Royal Guard, and he had retired into becoming the first High Judge of the Central 47, the leader and fore most, the irreplaceable judgementor! Though the Royal Guard may not answer to the Central 46 Chambers, they must answer to this High Judge, whom's present would make the 46 Chambers, the 47.
The Plotted, Yet Failed Assasination:
The Amatsu, a small clan of family members known for their great and swift assasinating skills, hired to assasinate the King of Soul Society for he had sinned, or so civilians had heard from the raped. Of all the members of the Amatsu, the greatest of them all, the leader, was secretly hired by the love of the raped to assasinate the King for his cruel sin, and in return was a life worth billions. Loyal to their deeds, and never had they backed away from their duty, the Amatsu leader had accepted the job even though they knew full well, the difficulty of the job and the crisis to come if the assasination had prevailed. This task, however, proved to be beyond even that of the Amatsu's skills and the leader was caught as the assasination had failed.
Execute, the leader of the Amatsu was ordered to be by the High Judge of the Central 47 and even the King himself, but only secretly, yet escaped he did with ease. Fearing of what could come after his escape, the King ordered the High Judge to hire highly skilled men to deplete the Amatsu for their stubborness of whom had hired them, and in fear of more Amatsu clan to come, but only to fail utterly. Now, with even more concerns, the High Judge had secretly hired from the order of the King, not skilled men, but brutally skilled Arrancars! (Shinigami working with Hollows, ain't that a sin!)
The hired Arrancars had somehow agreed in completing the King and the High Judge's request, and what was in for them was not known, but perhaps of the freeing of the arch-Arrancar, Arturo Plateado the First (the great father of the sealed Arturo Plateado, whom was set free by Kurosaki Ichigo when he had invaded to rescue Kuchiki Rukia)! Success, the Arrancars was, yet one had survived and he was the leader of the Amatsu's son (only a few months old at that time), whom was rescued by a brilliant student of the Amatsu, a female shinigami, and together, the two had escaped, but only to be chased afterwards. Sacrificing her life, the female shinigami had defeated the Arrancars for a number of them had already been slained beforehand. She left behind her, a message for the son of the great leader of the Amatsu. One Arrancar eventually survived and returned to the High Judge with proof of having annihilating the Amatsu by taking along with him, the head of the Amatsu leader, but only to find himself killed by the High Judge.
Now, alone, but taken care of by a spiritual demon, the young boy had growned and soon, drafted by the Shinigami Academy, not knowing he was an Amatsu. Seen and read the message from the female shinigami the boy did, and had seek for vengence after knowing his family name and himself as Raigetsu Amatsu.
The Legend of RA, Captain of Despair:
Being an Amatsu, the young boy potentially became a high seated officer and soon, was dicovered as a true blooded Amatsu. Though Sereitei knew nought about the assasination of the Amatsu as well as the King, the High Judge feared Raigetsu, but he kept quiet and did not inform the King of Sereitei, which he' would soon come to regret. His feared had ordered his Royal Guard allies to watch over Raigetsu, yet nothing suspicious about him was found except for the fact that he has a demon lurking in him. Later in the years, Raigetsu had eventually became a loyal, yet mysterious Captain of the 3rd Division and was closed friend with the 12th Division Captain, Rantao, the creator of the Bounts, whom had discovered a way to become ageless and had given such way to Raigetsu himself.
Completing assigned tasks, and accomplishing captain level missions and objectives, Raigetsu soon became well trusted by most Captains of the Gotei Thirteen, even the Captain Commander highly recommended him in completing the impossible, but all the high praises of him did not unworry the High Judge of the Central 47, until the day Raigetsu had almost given complete information about his deadly zanpakuto, which truly resembled the insignia of the 3rd Division, Despair! It was then that the High Judge thought Raigetsu knew nothing about his past, and had begun to unworry.
One darkling night, the surviving Arrancar whom had thought to have been slained by the High Judge was not killed, instead, he had found a way to free the arch-Arrancar, Arturo Plateado the First. Being the arch-Arrancar, Arturo the First's strength was beyond that of any known Espada and his threat had brought harvoc upon Sereitei. Captains after captains had fallen unto his Immortal zanpakuto, but being only one with the brain of a shinigami due to the death of the one who had set him free, the arch-Arrancar was at disadvantage, even with a thousand of Menos Grande and Hollows by his side.
The three great captains at that time, besides the Captain Commander, Yamamoto-Genryusai Shigekuni, was Captain Kuchiki Ginrei of the 6th Division (young at that time), Captain Rantao of the 12th Division, and of course, the Captain of the 3rd Division, Raigetsu Amatsu. Raigetsu was Sereitei's secret trump card in surprising Arturo the First for just his shikai, the arch-Arrancar could be severely damage, but Raigetsu was protecting the other far gate of Sereitei (the south), leaving Arturo with Captain Rantao and Captain Ginrei (the north), and he was alone as his companions and shinigami troops were defeated by the mass of Gillians, but that was what Raigetsu had hoped for.
The last man standing in the southern part of Sereitei, Raigetsu gained the ability to use his shikai without the worrying of harming his own allies, and so he did unleashed the long awaited, patient zanpakuto of the Forbidden Melody, Shiinsenritsu, the Melody of Death. With the first release of his zanpakuto, Raigetsu had simply and completely annihilated the intrusion of Menos and Hollows from the southern part of Sereitei, and soon onward to the western. After the western part was taken care of, Raigetsu, knowing well that Captain Ginrei and Captain Rantao can survive against the arch-Arrancar now that the Captain Commander had came to their aid, headed to the eastern part as well, but his first objective was somewhere else before safekeeping the eastern part of Sereitei.
Before heading out to the eastern part of Sereitei, Raigetsu had something else on his mind, which he had been planning since the day he had read the message left by the female shinigami, vengence against the High Judge and the King of Sereitei. Though the message did not ask him to kill them, he wanted to and determined he was as well, but patient he needed to be, and this was the perfect moment for his mischievious plot. The already torned to war against the army of the arch-Arrancar, Arturo the First, Central 47 was rarely well guarded and Raigetsu had forced himself into the building of the Central 47 Chambers and his intended target, none other than the High Judge himself.
While in the Chambers of Central 47, Raigetsu had avoided killing all of the others, but the guards, and a one was even a Royal Guard of the Zero Division, whom was here to serve and protect the High Judge. With the chaos outside of the 47 Chambers, nothing could be done to warn Sereitei of Raigetsu's wrath, and he had successfully assasinated the High Judge while at his safe private throne room, alone, with Raigetsu's zanpakuto's first release, the shikai of Shiinsenritsu, the Forbidden Melody, leaving it's deadly marks on all who hears the adoring melody she sings. After Raigetsu's wrath upon the High Judge, he left the Chambers and as promised, Raigetsu had cleared the eastern part of Sereitei. Now all that's left was the northern part where the three remaining captains (Rantao, Ginrei, Yamamoto) remained with the the arch-Arrancar Arturo the First, and his elite Adjuchas.
With the help of the Bounts created by Captain Rantao, soon, only Arturo remained, but his might was like hell's as his hierro was like a deity's, and his zanpakuto was Immortal, but that was his weakness, immortality for he lacks regeneration making pain on him, all eternity. By the time Raigetsu had reached the northern part of Sereitei, the arch-Arrancar was alone, but scratchless due to his god-like hierro. Surprisingly, the Captain Commander could not even scratch him, but burn him, which was not really effective against the hierro of Arturo the First. (this was the long past so captains were quite weak then) The Bounts were obliterated by the arch-Arrancar's Gren Rey Ceros, Captain Ginrei was knocked unconcious from protecting the Captain Commander from a fatal blow, and the same thing had happened to the Captain Commander from protecting Captain Rantao from Arturo's Absolute Flame. Before Rantao could be harmed any further, Raigetsu was there to protect her. Not being able to use his shikai's technique because of being able to harm Rantao as well, Raigetsu was in trouble, and injured he was as well.
Arturo the First would laugh at the so call hidden trump card Sereitei was holding back until the end because he was no where closed to being compared with the Captain Commander nor Captain Ginrei. Raigetsu would just laugh back at him, telling him that he does not know what he is dealing with. His sword, not capable of cutting the arch-Arrancar, Raigetsu must use his shikai inorder to cut him, but with Rantao, still concious, it could not be done. Thinking hard, Shiinsenritsu, his zanpakuto had spoken to Raigetsu, telling him to let Rantao wield her along with Raigetsu, so she would not be in danger of the dreadful melody.
Agreeing to Shiinsenritsu's plans, Raigetsu aked for Rantao's cooperation in wielding his zanpakuto with him, and together, the two could end this crisis and defeat the arch-Arrancar once and for all. With no other plans, Rantao had accepted the request and holding the hilt of Shiinsenritsu together, As the two would hold the hilt of Shiinsenritsu, Arturo would tease them, but the two did not hear him for it was the effect of Shiinsenritsu. Raigetsu then, described to Arturo about despair and that he was the embodiment of despair, and then he canted the words to play the Forbidden Melody of Shiinsenritsu. The dreadful melody left three fatal marks onto Arturo's chest, three slashes and that was the first time ever that Arturo the First was deeply cut and had bleeded. For the first time in his life, Arturo the First had feared. He was afraid of the melody he had heard, resulting in three deep slashes upon his chest. After a series of only the shikai technique of Shiinsenritsu, the arch-Arrancar Arturo the First, was defeated, even in his released form. Though he was immortal, the dreadful pain of the Forbidden Melody was too much for him to handle, and that was the end of his harvoc upon Sereitei.
Concious now, the surviving captains and other shinigami saw the two last shinigami, Rantao and Raigetsu, standing victorious against the arch-Arrancar Arturo Plateado the First. The arch-Arrancar was resealed, and many praised and creditted as well as honor the two who had severely cutted and defeated the First Arturo, but Rantao would not accept any for she believed it was Raigetsu whom defeated Arturo, yet Raigetsu insisted her to accepting such credits because it was her who had played a great role along with him.
During the celebration and cleansing of Sereitei from the ended crisis, Raigetsu left Sereitei after last speaking with his subordinates, the Captain Commander, Captain Ginrei, and his kept secret crushed, the Captain Rantao. He knew that Central 47, now 46 due to the death of the High Judge, would eventually spread the news of the assasination of the High Judge, and the markings left on him was the no doubt, the markings of the Forbidden Melody, Shiinsenritsu, the zanpakuto of Raigetsu Amatsu, and these evidences shows proof that Raigetsu was the assasin.
Wanted Dead or Alive for Exilation:
After discovering the death of the High Judge, the Central 47 now became the Central 46 because the High Judge was irreplaceable. Saddened, many were from the lost of the High Judge. The King was furious, but he feared the assasinator would come for him, knowing that the death of the High Judge was due to something he had dealt with the High Judge. He also could not believed that the assasinator was the Captain of the 3rd Division, and foremost, the Savior of Sereitei from the wrath of the the arch-Arrancar Arturo Plateado the FIrst.
The Central 46, with the lost of their most respected High Judge, had ordered all shinigami of the Gotei Division, either ranked or unranked, no matter what level, what division, Zero through 13th, to keep an eye out for Raigetsu Amatsu, whom had abandoned his seat as the 3rd Division Captain. Even the King of Soul Society had ordered such an order and offered a high award for Raigetsu. They have indeed, spreaded the news all around Soul Society and even to Shinigami in the World of the Living that Raigetsu had assasinated the High Judge. Any who could capture him alive would be greatly awarded by the King of Soul Society. Any who could kill him would be greatly awarded as well, but Sereitei and the King would prefer him captured alive so they could strip him of his shinigami powers and take control of his deadly zanpakuto, Shiinsenritsu, the Death Melody.
Central 46 No more:
Central 46, all slaughtered by the hands of Sosuke Aizen. Now, with their deaths, Captain-Commander Yamamoto has taken over their normal duties, and it seems he'll still hold the punishments for Raigetsu Amatsu, for the followings are the laws that Raigetsu had broken, and for his punishment, the King wants him to be punish by something far worst than the "ultimate punishment" of Sokyoku! Therefore, any who could capture RA and bring him to Sereitei could eventually bring the presence of the King to Soul Society!
- It is against the law to attack a captain. To do so is treason. (The High Judge)
- It is against the law to commit terrorist action(s) or attempt overthrow of the balance of Soul Society. To do so is treason. (of course RA did no such thing, but the 46 accused him of doing that inorder to assasinate the High Judge)
- It is against the law to commit murder. (Killed the High Judge along with his guards and a Royal Guard)
- It is a crime for a Shinigami to remain in the Human World longer than a certain time limit. (With no signs of RA, the 46 accuses him of residing in the Human World)
