Family background.
Àna's parents died when she was 10 years old. Since then she has lived with her grandfather (mothers father), aunty and uncle. She learnt that her grandfather has some of the talents she has and her youngest sister is showing one of them.
Thing is Àna is the black sheep in her family on both sides. Her fathers father is a horrible man. For several hundreds of years the first born on that side of the family have been passed the family sword... a samurai sword with a gold handle as dragons and flowers are engraved into it. For hundreds of years the first born have been males... until Àna came along and was the first girl in over 400 years. Well her grandpa didn't like that and changed the rule to the first male, though the sword is rightfully Àna's she can not have it because of that man. When her father died he left the sword to Jin to make is father proud... though he left it in Àna's care... she is the guardian of the sword, she must train Jin to use it correctly and until Àna see's fit that her brother is ready for it, she is to have it until the day she hands it to her brother.

PLOT:
Àna one day hopes to bring peace to her family and tell her sisters the truth behind their real parents. Though her love for Turasho seems to be caught in the middle of the family feud Àna and Satoshi have. Satoshi blames Àna for her parent’s death and he hates her, he won’t allow her to be happy at all. When he comes for a family visit, Àna finds herself having to choose between her love for Turasho or pleasing her family. Does she give in to her family or does she defy them and stay with Turasho, the man she hopes to marry and one day have a family with?
