Out on a job

[Kurosaki Isshin]

Isshin had been working super busy at the clinic, but he had left it in the hands of his reliable family.
His reason for leaving the clinic were simple, a hollow job wasnt being seen to. He knew his son Ichigo should be out there and seeing to this, but from the hear say of other passing Shinigami in the area have given him more than enough info on Ichigo's wherabouts, he was probably off saving his friends the usual.

This was a chance for Isshin to get back into the swing of soul reaping. ''Time for super Isshin to strike!!'' he said to himself as he whisked away from his house and into the darkened streets of Karakura. It wasnt long before Isshin encountered his first hollow. Rubbing his hands together he chucked ''Your not going anywhere'' he said.

[Shoshi Ana]

Ana had been walking home from martial arts, of course her siblings had caught a ride with their Uncle, Ana however wanted to walk and there was no way he was going to stop her, plus she had a really bad cramp up her leg and wanted to stretch it out, every step caused more pain to shoot up her leg and through her bone, she only cringed a little bit.

Walking around was good, she got some fresh air and was able to relax, so much was going on around her though. Ichi and her getting into trouble with Hollows a little more so then normal, her shoulder was still recovering from the bite his Hollow had given her she never really took off her jacket at school, fear of Ichi finding out that he actually bit her. She had to bite her tongue every time he annoyed her so she wouldn’t yell ‘well at least I don’t bite my friends you twit!’.

She felt something cover her body, a chill, goose bumps, it only meant one thing. A Hollow. Great, man she couldn’t go anywhere without running into a Hollow. She turned the corner and saw it, big, ugly and in her face. “Wow…” she gasped and took one step backwards. Without hesitation she ran around a few more streets hearing it hobbling after her, run run run. She spun around a corner to see another hollow “Oh come on.” She mumbled, it hadn’t seemed to notice her yet, she didn’t know Isshin was in front of it. She sent out a shield to the one before her as it flew a little towards Isshin, she new the hollow would notice her eventually, so knock it out the way take care of the other that had stopped before her and then take care of the one near Isshin, that was the plan.

She took a defensive stance and frowned when her Hollow yelled before coming towards her “SHIELD!” she yelled as one formed around her as it’s fist came crashing down on it, luckily the shield held and then she sent out a ball of light into it’s leg.

Before Isshin could do anything someone had rushed in and striked the hollow quickly.
His brows furrowed as he looked on. He sighed depressivly and then put on a brave stricken face. ''Fear not i...'' he started, but he paused, and squinted his eyes seeing it was Ana.
''Well well...lookie here...Ana Shoshi i didnt think i'd be seeing you again...'' he said, he though he would only see Ana again if Ichigo happened to get seriously injured and would be with her at the time.
He remebered that frightful day when his son had arrived in the clinic along with this young lady and they helped out. Of course it didnt take Ana long to discover his well hidden secret from Ichigo. Although in a way he felt ashamed, for keeping such a thing from his only son, he was family and hiding things wasnt a good idea, but however Ichigo was hiding his shinigami status too, just that Isshin had found it out.

Isshin made a dash for 4 hollows that were hiding around the place waiting to attack, but Isshin was already well ahead of them. With one sweeping attack Isshin had practiacally hung drawn and quatered them, not exsactly but there was enough blood to think that. All 4 hollows were gone in a flash and Isshin stood unharmed. The joys of being an ex captain were terrific!

[Shoshi Ana]

Ana watched as the Hollow got hit before she quickly looked over her shoulder to see Isshin. She blinked… oh man, it was the crazy old man… Ichigo’s crazy old man… she did smile a little though “I’ll have to come around more often then… can’t have you forgetting me now can I?” she said and smiled a little before she looked back hearing the hollow yell “Oh shut up!” she snapped at it and while Isshin was taking care of his or rather 4 she took care of the one before she stepped back.

It would only be a matter of time before more came and she wanted to get moving before that… get some what of a head start. “So Mr Kurosaki” she said and spun around to face him walking over to him before frowning a little 4 Hollows he took down, 4 so easily, man it made her seem weak. “Shall we walk before more come ‘cause frankly I’m ready to blow them all back…” she said and walked past him “Hey…” she paused and looked over her shoulder to him “Have you told Ichigo the truth yet?”. She had not spilt the beans but she did not like lying to Ichigo… he was one of her best friends and she hated keeping this secret from him… but she’d made a promise to Isshin and planned on keep it.

Isshin smiled as Ana didnt seem to of expected him to turn up here. ''Let me guess...this is the last place you thought you'd see me right?'' he chuckled and then slid his zanpakuto back in its sheathe. He was glad to hear she suggested to come around often ''My thoughts exsactly! you should drop by the clinic anytime you want dont wait for Ichigo to take you there you'll be waiting all day'' he said and then heard something, something very quiet that made him turn his head looking behind him at the 4 hollow that lay motionless on the ground that he had just slayed. ''Hmm...seems i did not finish the job'' he sighed and from nowhere drew his sword once more at the exsact same time a hollow leapt out at him. He simply sliced through the hollow cutting in two halves that seperated either side of him.

Isshin then glanced at his shoulder seeing the hollow's blood covering him, he just lazily brushed it off his shoulder and turned to Ana as she told a hollow to 'shut up' so nicely. ''Nice of you to ask them politely huh?'' he grinned.
He watched Ana as she approached him and suggested they walked before more hollows had the chance to catch them up. ''Good idea...'' he said walking after her. ''Quite an interesting talent Ichigo's friends have including yourself...'' he said remebering after he witnessed her abilities a moment ago. Isshin stopped when Ana looked over her shoulder at him and asked what she had.

Isshin opened his mouth as if he had an immediate response to that but no words came out and he looked to the floor. ''Uh...umm...well you see...i havent got round to it as such...'' he began as he looked back up at Ana. ''He's got enough on his plate right now, i dont really want to add to his problems....'' he said. Isshin paused trying to read Ana a bit.

''You dont want to lie to him right?...dont worry about Ichigo getting all angry if he finds out you knew all along...ill take the full brunt of his anger head on let him yell a bit and stuff its the only way he knows how to vent...'' he laughed a little but he was interupted by the sounds of a hollow. ''Where are they all coming from!?'' he sighed.

Isshin smiled at Ana's first comment, if he remebered rightly Ana was of great help at the clinic that day. ''Well a friend of Ichigo's is always welcome in the clinic...although not anyone like arrancars he is making far too many firneds with arrancars'' he sighed. ''But it will be nice to see you once in a while'' he said. He looked at Ana when she thanked him for his compliment to her unusual power, but she did bring up Orihime's talents. Isshin smiled ''Ah yes...Inoue Orihime i know of her and what she is capable of'' Isshin rembered that very grim day when Sora was brought into their clinic, he did try so very hard to keep him alive.

Isshin knew that one day he would have to tell Ichigo, some day it would happen because he couldnt keep something as big as him being a former captain quiet for much longer. There were already others who knew like Urahara for one. There was a reason why Ichigo had far too much spirit energy and Isshin knew that he was partly to blame for that, that and his mother it was the only explanation logical. A human doesnt just get that much energy from nowhere. Isshin gave a sigh ''But i appreciate you not telling him because right now he needs sort his mind out big time with his hollow and all...yeah i know about that me and Urahara we go way back...'' he smiled. ''He keeps me posted on how he is and what he's doing''
''But im curious as to how he got that hollow, vizards are rare only about 8 or 9 of them and they had their hollow put in them by Aizen...so how did Ichigo get his...its so strange'' he began but he heard Ana say how she would just yell back if Ichigo kicked off. It made Ishin grin. ''Yeah, you readheads are known for your tempers'' he said. Isshin gave a long sigh at the sound of those pesky hollow ''I want hollows to take a vacation just once a year, that'd be great'' he said and then drew his zanpakuto as he walked along he spotted hollow in front of them ''Fun when your winning'' he said and then looked to see what one to go for first. He turned his head at Ana when she asked about his daughters. ''Ah Karin and Yuzu there doing ok, but Karin knows, she knows something about Ichigo i just see things from her that make me wonder...'' he said as he sliced up a hollow in front of him and watched is desintergrate into the air.
