[Kurosaki Ichigo]

'You dont wanna go back then?'' came a voice of a guy with unusually bright green hair as he directed his comment at Ichigo who sat there looking a bit worse for wear, he had been found wandering the streets by a friend he hadnt seen in the 2 years he was just human. After moving up a couple of years in school he had lost contact with some former classmates, troublesome ones at that because he remebered them getting in all sorts of bad things and here he was in a house run by 4 of those classmates how they could keep up with running a house he didnt know until he asked them and was told it was just abandoned so they took it!. ''Your lodging in here!!'' Ichigo said and sighed seeing it didnt seem to bother them at all. He didnt belong here for sure, he knew that but he didnt let it bother him seeing as he was considered a punk by the school teachers.

''No i dont wanna go back are you stupid?!'' Ichigo spoke up as he looked away from the guy. ''I cant go back not after...'' he began but he frowned, why was he going to tell all of them why he wasnt at home?
''Forget it'' he said.

''Hey Ichigo, there's gonna be Yoko's gang coming here soon...he found out we all hideout here, someone told him and when i find out who told him i'll kill them!'' the guy said as he looked around the room at 2 of the others. ''It better not be one of you two either'' he said. ''Let him come here! if he wants trouble i'll give it to him!'' Ichigo said.

[Shoshi Ana]

Ana had been searching for Ichigo for ages. Everyone was really worried about him and she had heard so many rumours flying around lately, hell the Hollow count was even up because he wasn’t around. She was going to kill him with her own two hands… well maybe not but still. She didn’t even know who she ended up in this part of town but she had and she looked around biting her bottom lip as she walked around. Was best to try everywhere right but with Itsuki out looking for Ichigo she needed to get to him first, hopefully word had not reached his ears that she had betrayed him… or whatever crap it was going around. Clearly Ana had not done it, if anything she was the one being spotted with Itsuki but only to get Orihime’s hairpin back.

Pulling some hair behind her ear she sighed a little, she’d been looking for him for ages and no luck, where could the orange haired boy be, how hard was it for him to hide, like really. Chewing her bottom lip as she walked around she suddenly froze and looked up. She knew that energy and before she knew it she was running down all kinds of streets before she stopped, it was around here somewhere, he was around here somewhere but so was something else and she frowned.

“Oh no, I’m finding him first” she mumbled glaring at nothing before she looked around “Ichigo!” she yelled with every corner she took before she stopped, it was strong but she couldn’t tell the direction it was coming from and she took in some deep breaths leaning forwards a little puffing slightly. Dam it, why couldn’t he just come on out and face his friend instead of hiding away like a coward!

The stronger Ichigo's spirit energy got the worser the area, it almost seemed deserted like all of this side of town had been abandoned. Each house seemed empty mainly because of all the windows were either smashed in or boarded up. Ichigo sure had picked a dump to hideout in. He had been hiding out in this area for sometime now and had got used to the way everything was. Doing whatever the hell you wanted and when you wanted was pretty much what happened here.

''Great! so your on board for giving Yoko a good kicking then?'' the green haired guy said to Ichigo who just nodded a little. ''Of course i am, its not like there's anything better to do round here'' Ichigo said but was interupted by the sounds of something smashing as a brick flew through a window and hit the wall in front of Ichigo before some laughter echoed, he knew that laugh. ''Yoko!! im gonna kill you, you bastard!!'' yelled the green haired guy as he jabbed a baseball bat at the already smashed window and pointed it at Yoko who stood there with 5 other guys. ''Why dont you cry about it Gorou!!'' Yoko yelled back at him. Gorou seemed to be the green haired guy's name not that Ichigo could remember names all that well. ''That does it!!'' Gorou said as he turned and called for 4 of the others to join him in a fight and they all climbed out of the window to face Yoko and his gang. Ichigo followed climbing out onto the street looking to Yoko who grinned ''Kurosaki? since when did you get back into all of this?'' he said to Ichigo who just raised an eyebrow not even answering him. ''Alright so which one of you decided to put a brick through the window?'' Gorou suddenly spoke up. ''Might of been me...what ya gonna do about it!'' Yoko grinned. ''Kick ya ass thats what!!'' Gorou yelled and flew at Yoko to attack him causing all the others to break into a fight including Ichigo. They could probably be heard a mile away with all the noise they were making.

For a moment she was tempted to sit down but if she did that then she was not going to get up so she stood straight and walked forwards a little before swallowing and looked around. She could feel Ichigo’s spirit energy around but she just couldn’t pin point it, grr she had to practice that it seemed, maybe Rukia could help her with that she seemed to know a lot about it all.

Ana heard a commotion and looked up slightly tilting her head. What was going on over that way… oh maybe someone was trying to rob someone else’s house. No way! She started to run in the direction she had heard a smashing window. Ichigo would just have to wait, for now someone’s house was in trouble or so she assumed. She heard a bunch of talking and pocked her head around the corner, she spotted 5 of them, well their backs and frowned, they didn’t look so tough, yea she knew martial arts why not!

She hid again and contemplated her move before her eyes went wide and she looked around the corner seeing a bunch of people fighting, oh what the hell! “Hey what do you think you are all doing!” she said rounding the corner fully point at the guys though hadn’t even thought about anything until she realised she’d just made herself known. Oh, not a smart move.

She quickly glanced to the window and back to the crowd, she might as well keep the tough girl act on despite the numbers against her “Who threw the rock! Don’t you know that’s someone’s house, don’t you have any respect, apologise to the people who live in there right now!” she snapped as her other hand rested on her hip and she frowned at them all. She hadn’t even spotted Ichigo she was just looking at some big guys back. She felt very small but she could handle herself, hell she fought Hollow what could a couple of guys do… she just stood strong and frowned at them all.

There was all sorts of people now locked into a fight beating one another just because of territorial stuff, who walked onto who's part of town was enough to spark up a fight here. Ichigo could remember Yoko from high school he rememered because he had got into a huge fight with him on school grounds and almost killed one another not to mention the trouble he got into for it after the teachers had to seperate them. That was some time ago and here Yoko was still strong in his gang like ways not growing up a bit. This sight was what Ichigo was invovled in ever since he was 15 it was easy to see where he got his bad reputation from.

Ichigo had already got involved in this fight so there was no backing out, he had already punched a guy and sent him backwards before he looked over seeing the others fighting. Ichigo frowned a little to himself a thought crossing his mind, why was he here, really? this was the old him, he had come so far from just being a memeber of gang violence. He didnt even have the attitude to want to save anyone before he became a shinigami. But once he was one his started learning that you could use your anger and put it into the form of defending others not just taking it out on stupid thugs. Ichigo sighed to himself as much as he wanted to punch the hell out of Yoko's gang he had grown tired of it.

He missed fighting alongside his friends, protecting them wherever he could and having responsibilities. He like being responsible for others and having a duty rather than sitting around do nothing. ''Oi! Ichigo!'' Gorou suddenly said to him. Ichigo looked up at him ''Lets go already! kick that guy's ass will ya what ya just standing there for!'' he told Ichigo who paused not responding but he nodded. He reached forward grabbing a guy by his collar ready to hit him but he heard a familiar voice a girl's voice, what the hell was some girl doing round here?

''Get outta here!!!'' Gorou suddenly said to Ana seeing she was questioning on who had smashed in the window. They all looked at Ana like she was crazy when she told them to have respect and apologize to the owner of the house. ''Do we look like a nice bunch of people that have any respect! we dont care!'' Gorou said as he picked up another rock and lobbed it at another window smashing it. ''This is our part of town we can do whatever we like because nobody lives here anymore!! we scared them all off!'' he continued. ''Ichigo get this chick outta here!'' he said. Ichigo sighed at his name being mentioned. ''...Sure'' Ichigo said as he walked towards Ana looking at her with a blank expression as he grabbed her by her arm and dragged her away from the fight not saying anything to her making sure none of the others discovered that he knew her.

Once they were out of view Ichigo let go of Ana and looked at her shaking his head a little ''You shouldnt of come here'' he said to her.

Ana watched them all as they all looked to her. She all of a sudden felt like she was on the spot, like all their eyes were burning into her and she swallowed a little worried, or a little more worried she should say. When the guy yelled at her she looked to him and made a small face folding her arms. She had to seriously bite her tongue though when he went on, she was so tempted to be rude back at him, she even had the perfect line but alas it would not be very smart of her to say what she was thinking.

She looked to them all and bit her tongue once more; well it did explain why this place was so quiet really. For a moment she was tempted to teach them a lesson but she resisted the urge and went to say something until she heard the guys say Ichigo’s name and she stood still, frozen almost. Ichigo… Ichigo was with these guys… oh no he was in a gang! She looked over seeing Ichigo and frowned a little, what the hell was he doing with these guys; this was his way of dealing with stuff, gosh she hoped not.

When Ichigo dragged her off she tried to pull her arm away, before they rounded the corner and he let her go and she frowned “Me… you shouldn’t be hanging out with them people… that’s not you” she added watching Ichigo “In all honesty I didn’t even expect to find you here I was just looking around and then pow there you are” she said though was not sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing “Am… why are you with them?”

Ichigo stood there his hands in his pockets and looking to Ana with hardly any change in his expression before he sighed. She had seem to of thought he didnt belong in a place like this when in fact he did it was where all his friends were until he became friends with Rukia everything changed.
''Im afraid it is me...the me you dont see...'' he said to her then looked off to the side. ''You only see the shinigami side right...when i entered high school i was dragged into all of that back there, ever since then ive become like them before i even met you i was like this guess i just never told you'' he said. ''Now you know why im considered a punk in school and why people avoid me'' he added.

Ichigo sighed ''Im here with them because i cant go back home dumbass...'' he smirked at her. ''Beleive it or not these guys watch my back when guys like Yoko start some trouble...'' he said but he wasnt about to go and introduce Ana to them they didnt seem like her type of friends she would hang around with. ''How did you end up in this area anyway...you didnt trace me energy did you?'' he asked her before he looked round the corner at the fight still going on seeing no one was suspicious yet.

Ana frowned at Ichigo almost scowled at him, what kind of crap was that! “So you’re just going to go back to it all… give your family a hard time because they can’t find you, have all your friends worry about you so can go back to your gangster life” she said quietly and a little annoyed, did he really think this was the right path? “Just because it was part of your life Ichigo doesn’t mean it is who you are, people change, you changed and now you’ve done it again” she said sighing a little. Oh maybe Itsuki could wrap Ichigo around his finger and manipulate him if he stayed like this. Ana really had to try, more than she thought she would.

Ana folded her arms, she didn’t get why he couldn’t go back, she knew Soul Society was after him but it was no reason to hang out here, to live like this, it was silly, stupid and pointless… as far as she saw it. “That hurts” she mumbled. From Ana’s point she would have thought Ichigo could see he already had friends who did that, Orihime, herself, Chad, Ishida even Rukia though he may not believe that.

She made a small face. “Well I went to see your dad who by the way is really worried and we went looking for you. He suggested the scariest looking places in town is where we should start. I’ve been looking every afternoon really” she added and sighed again “At first I didn’t. I was just walking around and then I felt it… so I followed your energy but couldn’t pin point it. Then you were all making so much noise” she added looking to Ichigo “You should really talk to your dad Ichigo. Or at least let me tell him you’re ok” she added quietly not sure if he wanted to see his father, it was very upsetting really when she thought about it.

[Kurosaki Ichigo]

Ichigo looked at Ana hearing her small speech he looked a little shocked before he glanced down a little. ''Im not who you think i am, is all im saying...'' he began. ''This is the only place i can go where i know no one will question me about what i do...'' he said. At first Ichigo had disappeared wondering the streets trying to get his head around all what had happened when Gorou had spotted him and before he knew it he was here. Though the more Ichigo listened the more it made sense to him, he was considered a nasty person back when he was involved with these people, ever since Rukia brought him out of the gutter his perceptions changed into his desire to protect people. He couldnt help but want to go back to his old ways at a time like this. ''You are right in one thing...i have changed...and its a little scary to see how much'' he began as he looked over to the fight again and sighed.

Ichigo's glance turned back onto Ana ''If i go back then it'll mean everyone...all my friends will be brought down with me...i cant let that happen...'' he said but he knew he should go back he hated not talking his his family feeling like he couldnt go back because of all Itsuki's doing. ''I didnt know what else to do other than leave for a bit...i needed to figure some thing out too'' he said and then heard her 'that hurts' comment. He looked at her with a frown. ''Oh come on you really think...'' he began but he paused with a thought. He hoped he had choose these guys over them. He had asked himself early why was he here, he had thought he fit in with these kinds of people because he did once. But he couldnt help but feel he had taken a step back into what he could still be like if he hadnt of met Rukia. ''I will talk to him...soon, i want to anyway because im worried for them too'' he began but then heard a voice.

''Ichigo i thought i told you to get rid of this girl!?'' Gorou had appeared before them. Ichigo looked to him and then Ana before not answering for a moment and then sighed ''Sorry...cant do that'' he began.

[Shoshi Ana]

Ana nodded her head a little and looked down. To think Ichigo thought so little of them all. She glanced to her side. Basically as she saw it, one he was running away and two he was not choosing to grow up. “Well… if you ever… I don’t know, just want to sit with someone, my door open” she said making a small face and looked to Ichigo. Honestly why did things have to be so hard, why did he have to be so stubborn, if it was going to be so easy as slapping him across the back of the head she’d do it. She sighed “Do you like this side of you though Ichigo… I mean… do you like the feeling of… fighting and not helping?” she asked him gently, quietly and watched him, if he did then she really had to work hard, but if he didn’t then maybe it’d be a little easier to bring him around to his senses again.

Ana huffed a little. “Ichigo… 2 years you’ve been my friend as have the others… haven’t you learnt that we stick together, friends stick together. I get you don’t want us to be a part of whatever your problem is… but that’s what friends are for, helping out our friends in tough times and sticking together.” she added watching Ichigo “I mean how many times have you gotten me into trouble and the other way around… but it’s always been ok in the end right?” she said raising an eyebrow.

She bit her bottom lip a little as she thought of a better solution for him though his words had hurt. She simply looked down, of course she thought that, it’s how she felt, how Orihime would probably feel and Ishida and Chad and Rukia, she was already beating herself up over what she had done but Ana did not think it was the best time to mention Rukia. Ana nodded “I think I have a solution… well something better than here anyway.” She said looking up to Ichigo “You are worried to go home right… and my grandfather is at my place which is not good as he’s a Shinigami… but what about Turasho’s old place… the penthouse. No one would expect you to be there, you’ll be isolated and can keep an eye out and you’ll be safe, no one will be in harm’s way” she added quietly, she thought it was a pretty good idea.

She smiled a little because it was good to know he did want to talk to his dad that was a good sign but then a voice distracted her train of thought and she looked over frowning at the guy. She glanced to Ichigo and turned her body to face the guy wondering if she should open her mouth or just walk away but Ichigo suddenly said something and she looked over to him and smiled a little. “You heard him” she said backing Ichigo up “Plus what kind of jerk asks a guy to dispose of a lady” she added a little quieter to the guy she had no idea who he was.
