Innocent until proven guilty

Rukia suddenly held her tongue and then sighed ''Sorry...'' she muttered towards Ichigo and then looked round to her brother as he explained how Itsuki manipulated Ichigo's friends making it seem as if they were going agasint him when really they were just trying to keep Itsuki from him. ''That medling little...'' she began but she stopped.

She listened to what Itsuki's past was like, how he was once a loyal sub to Soul Society and after the killing ofh is brother had sent him over the edge and made him turn on Soul Society. She frowned as she looked down, he had a reason for all of this then it wasnt just to make people's lives miserable. ''I see'' she began. She quickly looked up as he spoke of Nadie, that girl he was always with how she stuck by him depite his insanity, it sounded familar. She looked horrifed as it came to light of how Itsuki hurt Nadie someone who was trying to save him from himself. Was history going to repeat itself with Ichigo, she didnt want the same future for him. ''Ana asked you to bring Ichigo here?'' she asked she could see how being here would be safer for Ichigo but since when did he take the 'safer' option and by the sounds of it he wanted to confront him.

She glanced at Mia and frowned a little at her suggestion, she could do that? ''Heh...read Ichigo's mind...be careful you'll get very lost in there'' she said to her knowing what a dark place Ichigo's mind was, sh'de turn up all sorts of things. ''Ichigo...you'll have to allow this for now...we'd need your permission to go invading your private memories...'' she said but it was the only way they could prove his innocence in a way.

[Kurosaki Ichigo]

Ichigo looked at Rukia confused, what was she talking about? if Byakuya knew who his father was? what did that have to do with anything and more importantly what did she mean by 'Kurosaki's' there was way more?

It was now clear that Itsuki had threatened his friends, the bastard deserved everything coming to him, until he heard of Itsuki's past, how his life wasnt all that different to his own, a sub shinigami with friends who wanted to help and how he lost his brother to Soul Society it was why he rebelled and wanted to take down Soul Socety, some things started to make more sense. ''M-me?'' he suddenly spoke up when heard Byakuya say he could probably talk Itsuki round to reality ''I dunno about that...im not the best person for those kinds of things'' he said knowing words werent his strong point. But he could understand now why Itsuki kept hanging round him bothering him he was similar and had struggles with his hollow just like he did. Ichigo gave a small inward sigh before he nodded a little ''I could try...'' he began. He scowled as he heard how Ana wanted him to be brought to Soul Society for his protection and to keep him away from Itsuki ''I just dont beleive Ana would do that'' he said. It seemed that the girl, Nadie that Itsuk iwas working with was his only companion and she had been attacked by an out of control Itsuki, suddenly Ichigo felt a little un easy, Itsuki could well be him if he didnt knuckle down and nip the whole hollow thing in the bud now then he could become like Itsuki.

Ichigo then heard Mia suggest they search his mind for the missing memories he wasnt ever aware of he looked a little worried but then glanced to Rukia who agreed as did Byakuya, in fact everyone but him before Rukia asked for his permission. ''Im not letting anyone in my mind!...'' he began then looked to Mia ''How would you even do that!?'' he asked her ''Isnt that like an invasion?'' he added but he paused, he wanted to prove he was inocent so maybe he'd have to allow it.

Mia looked at Rukia "i have no intention in deliving into his past just that specific timing.... if my captian allows it... of corse... and Ichigo...afterall it is his memories" she added.

Mia chuckled "yes it is a major invasion of personal privacey and anyway..... i can put in dates so we wont go flicking through your whole life and find that key time period were looking for" she said "And yes, it is up too you, just thought it would be a good idea to prove your innocene" she said and smiled and paused for a moment sighing "but it will have to be with your permission im not dragging you onto the machine kicking and screaming" she added.

"anyway i was working on this idea if soul socierty needed to ever get infomation from an enemy who wouldnt talk..." she said "its virtually painless a few tingly eletric shocks at the most nothing overly painful" she said and folded her arms.

Mia then looked at Byakuya she wasnted to ask about her captian she kept quiert and then parted her lips "May i ask were my Captian is?" she asked. Mias assistant appeared back on her shoulder and its robotic eye looking around and staired at Byakuya begining to scan him.
Mia was thinking about wethere or not she was going to talk to her captian about how she had got ichigos powers back it could come in handy in the long run, but she wouldnt give oyu any infomation on Ichigo. After all she didnt keep all her notes written down about that but in her mind.

Byakuya gave a nod to Rukia ''That is correct Ana Shoshi met up with a captain in the human world and told them of her worry and concern as asked of you to be protected'' he stated and then looked to Ichigo ''Alot to take in huh?'' he said to him ''Nonsense...you of all people can relate to Itsuki its why we beleive he is hanging around you like a lost puppy'' he sighed. ''You should be made aware of the amount of trouble Vizards go through in order to be safe from themselves...why do you think Soul Society no longer wanted anything to do with them?'' he said. ''So you can see now yes? how important you are in all of this...it needs to be handled delicatly...you'll be moved to another cell where we plan on drawing Itsuki to...he knows your in Soul Society and he knows how to get into Soul Society...has has been able to dsiguised his reiatsu well since he became a substitute shinigami...so we wont know about his presence...but he will contact you most probably and when he does we will be ready'' he said to him.

He then looked to Mia ''I see no problem in tracing his mind to proveh is innocence...that way we can trust him completely with the rest of this task'' he said then looked at Ichigo as he seemed wary of allowing his thoughts and memories to be so easily invaded. ''You sounds like a man who has alot to hide there Ichigo...what is it that is so bad your afraid of us knowing...'' he smirked. He looked back at Mia ''Mayuri?probably in his lab, he is hell bent of the idea of experimenting on Ichigo...he's rubbing his hands together at the idea we speak i'd say'' he replied to her.

Rukia looked at Ichigo ''Dont worry...all the things you want kept private...will be kept right'' she said as she looked to Mia ''You shouldnt be ashamed of your past Ichigo...'' she quickly added as she looked his way. She knew he had a mind full of memories and that he didnt let anyone in so this would be interesting. ''Oh so your using Ichigo to draw Itsuki in then...'' she began at her brother, sounded like a plan but still he was talking as if all this had been thought out well, by Yamamoto? she wasnt sure.

She sighed quickly almost impatiently and then nodded ''I see...under the circumstances...this is the only way we will take Itsuki down'' she said. ''You ok about this then, Ichigo?'' she asked him, though she had a thought that this wouldnt be easy to convince him. ''Aw come on Ichigo...if it means some of your memories get brought up by accident itsnt it worth your freedom!''

[Kurosaki Ichigo]

Ichigo looked from Mia to Rukia and then to Byakuya and scowled ''Hey dont sound so causal about it!'' he said quickly to him before he gave a huff. He listened to Mia explain how she would only pick up on the events that matter and not flicking through just about every memory he had. He looked to Byakuya and took note on how he was to be visited by Itsuki and they could arrest him then, sure he could do that but still he had to be moved to another cell where he'd probably have nothing but his own company, not that it bothered him. He nodded ''Alright then...so Itsuki wont get away with the mess he's caused'' he said.

Ichigo was contemplating on his decision, if he went ahead and allow his mind to be invaded then there was a good chance he could be proved innocent all along and then he wouldnt have to to spend 16 months of his life in a cell. Man he wouldnt come out of Soul Society until he was almost 19! that couldnt happen. Ichigo looked up as Rukia said anything he wanted private, would be kept private but still he could imagine Rukia was just loving this situation she had always wanted him to tell all. He scowled at her as she told him to be proud of his past ''Proud? its really not something to be proud of if you knew'' he told her before he looked at Mia. He was all for putting on a tough front and his mind was the one place he could hide everything what he really thought or felt so it was no wonder he felt a little uncomfortable about it. But Mia wasnt going to force him to go through with it and it put him at ease a little more and he eventually nodded to Mia ''Alright...one condition though...'' he began. ''If you do see anything that your not suposed to by accident...would you please ignore it?'' he asked her.

Mia nodded she didnt seemed surprised shocked or appauled at Byakuyas comment about ther captian getting hell bent of the thought of experimenting on Ichigo in fact it made her smile which soon went and she cougthed and turned away momentarily befor turning back around and faceing Ichigo.

"Dont worry, I will erase it form my brain, anyway everyone has things they dont want to show.... but i will need to talk to my Captian befor you go to the 12th devision area, i dont want him getting ..... too egger and not realising he wont be able to experiment on you" she added and smirked "Sooooo" she said and went to the bed and took out her book and bag and went over to the Cell "i should go talk to my captain ?" She asked waiting for the door to be opened. "Also i think i can giv him a good allternative to Ichigo" she said and smiled.

[Asano Keigo]

Byakuya gave a nod ''As you wish then'' he said then looked to the guard who looked confused ''B-but...Kuchiki-Taichou..'' he began. ''Are you going to go against a captains authority?'' he asked which silenced the guard and he reached for a set of keys and handed them to Byakuya ''Ichigo's aswell...'' he said and the guard looked shock ''B-but Kurosaki Ichigo is-'' he began only for Byakuya to frown at him ''Y-yes sir'' the guard ended and handed the keys to Byakuya.

He looked at Mia ''We are going to the 12th division only...'' he said to her as he unlocked her cell allowing her to walk out. ''Wait there a moment'' he said and then turned to Ichigo and sighed ''Kurosaki Ichigo...this is a warning now...while you are a wanted man by Soul Society i do beleive you arent stupid at all....should you atempt to escape then i will have no choice but to take matters into my own hands'' he said to him. He then reached through the bars of his cell and placed his palm on the centre of Ichigo's chest something then shot from his palm and made a clicking noise as a small grey triangular shaped badge clipped itself into his shinigami robes and sent a spark of reaitsu into Ichigo's bloodstream. ''You have just been pumped with tactile reaitsu...as we speak it is sealing off all of your own reiatsu and severing the connection you have with your power...a limiter'' he told him ''You will not be able to use your power until this badge is removed by a captain for example you cannot use Getsuga Tensho...you will not be able to use Zangetsu your sword...nor will you be able to communicate with him or that part of your soul...however...you have hollow powers and a limiter cannot effect a hollow's power a limiter is designed for shinigami only....therefore you can still use your hollow...but i advise you not to...it will be extreme pain if you do...your body will not appriciate that...ok'' he added and then lifted his palm off his chest and then unlocked his cell.

He looked at Mia and then Ichigo ''Lets go then...'' he said.''Mayuri wouldnt dare make an experiment of Ichigo...if he does that then he may find himself in alot of trouble'' he said and started to walk out of the room and out the door. He walked down a corridor and then rounded a corner hopefully everyone following and then down another long corridor where the 12 division offices were up ahead. Byakuya knocked on the door and there was some cursing before something smashed. Finally the door opened ''Come in come in hurry up im in the middle of something'' Mayuri said but see who it was he frowned at Byakuya ''Kuchiki? what do you want'' he said as he swirled a glass beaker filled with a strange liquid and some strange looking scissors in the other. He looked passed Byakuya and see Mia from his division ''Oh so they let you out then'' he said with a big grin before he spotted Ichigo ''Ah!'' he began and then looked down at his experimental tools in his hands ''Come in!!'' he said as he tossed the beaker aside and chucked the scissors away. He offered them to sit down as he sat behind his desk ''What can i do for you?'' he said and then stood up ''Keep talking im listening, im just a very busy man'' he said as he walked round the room collecting up some things.

Rukia smiled at Ichigo as he agreed to Mia's suggestion and for anything accidental to appear would be forgotten about, did he really think the rough life he had been through made him look bad? She gave a small sigh and cocked her head to one side ''You really try too hard to hide who you are dont you'' she smirked as she tap a bar on his cell. Was it rude of her to want to know? probably is so she hadnt said it outloud.

She watched as Mia was released from her cell and then looked confused as Byakuya put something on Ichigo as he warned him about trying to escape and that he had just put a limiter on him. ''Is that neccessary nii-san?'' she said. So Ichigo was without his powers for the second time, if she were him she'd want to yell bankai, or use getsuga just so he could get the chance to do so before all these limitations put on him, however a limiter did not have any effect on something as twisted as a hollow, it made alot of sense. If they could limit a hollow's power that would be used all the time! ''Alright then lets get out of here'' she said and followed her brother she walked beside him.

''Has Yamamoto-Sama given you any orders sort of speak?'' she asked him ''Surely everthing isnt as bad as he says if you allow Ichigo to walk out free from his cell...could it be that my brother...wants to actually help a lowly human?'' she said. Suddenly they reached the 12th squad barracks and Mayuri seen extremely busy, make this busy with too much free time experimenting. Rukia sighed and then walked into his office and sat down she frowned seeing how he eyed Ichigo she suddenly stood and stopped next to Ichigo and leaned in to him though he height in comparion to him made her grumble and she signalled him to come down to her level. ''Watch yourself in here ok...if you thought Mia found you interesting then you havent seen nothing yet from Mayuri'' she whispered in his ear. ''We've come to ask of your permission Mayuri-Tachiou...'' she began as she leaned back from Ichigo and stood straight. ''We require to carry out some tests on Ichigo'' she spoke in authority

[Kurosaki Ichigo]

Ichigo looked at Mia and nodded ''Thanks'' he said hearing how she would erase anything accidental, he was almost embarist that all his life would be dragged back up and it seemed Rukia had picked up on that he was trying to hide what kind of life he had. ''Shut up! i bet your loving this aint you!'' he said to her and he gave a nod towards Byakuya as he said they were going to the 12th division and then realised he was talking directly to him yet another warning. Ichigo took note and listened in, it sounded important so he'd hear him out.

He was a wanted man, and wasnt stupid apparently, yeah he definatly wasnt stupid if he was going ot be let out after being caught then who wouldnt try and make an escape but still he wasnt going to do that, but he'd keept Byakya guessing with that, he didnt know he wasnt going to escape, let him beleive that it might make him more aware of how loyal he was to Soul Society, there was just something he couldnt do to them. ''Yeah, yeah i get it...'' he began but then felt something hit his chest he looked down seeing Byakuya's palm there he looked back up at him and frowned, just what the heck was he doing? there was a clicking sound and his chest felt numb like something had just stapled into him. ''Tactile reaitsu?...'' he qustionned him what was that, but he had explained it was the limiter that was suposed to be enforced on him. ''Oh..'' was all he said after he realised. So he couldnt use Zangetsu, that old , man probably thought he'd abandoned him he hadnt spoke to him in almost 2 years he needed to talk to him and perhaps his hollow too. ''I understand...it doesnt bother me because this limiter will be taken off when i prove im not guilty...'' he smirked at Byakuya. But he could however use his hollow powers, they hadnt really thought that out if they only expected shinigami to turn on them. ''You guys need to make one that will stop hollow powers then'' he said but sighed ''Fine i wont use my hollow i swear it'' he said as he held his hands out to the side of him. He was then surprinsingly released ''Thats it? your letting me go...'' he began but he shut up after that not wanting to push it any further before Byakuya changed his mind.

Ichigo walked out of his cell glad to be out of there, he had never broken the law and yet ended up behind bars somehow, actually that wasnt exsactly true, he might of broken the law whern he was still part of a gang. Ichigo then followed the others and stopped when they reahced the 12th division area and Mayuri seemed pretty busy, he looked off elsewhere before he heard they were told to walk in. He followed and then stood leaning agasint a wall his arms crossed as Mayuri sat down asking what they wanted, he then noticed Rukia gesturing for him to come down to her level, he smirked at her before he unfolded his arms and leaned down a little for her to warn him about the 12th division area, it wasnt a good place for him and Mia's interest was concerning enough let alone Mayuri he looked a little worridly towards Rukia and then nodded before he straightened back up and kept his eyes on Mayuri as he walked round the room and Rukia told of how they wanted to carry out a test on him.
