Innocent until proven guilty

Rukia looked at Mayuri expecting him to apologize and sharpish but instead fluffed his way out of it. She sighed quickly and had then gone on to defend Ichigo's case when he suddenly told her to shut up. She widened her eyes ''Uh wha?!!?'' she uttered. ''B-but...Ichigo you'' she continued but stopped, he wanted to go through with this and wanted to help. She stared at him for a moment before she breathed out ''...Alright...if its what you want'' she said to him. ''I'll organise some of the 13th division to head to Karakura'' she said to him, she was the vice captain of that division and it would be relativly easy to organise.

She heard Byakuya call her to see if she was following him but she shook her head ''Ok...just give me a moment'' she said to him and then looked at Mayuri as this all seemed to be an inconveniance to him. ''Listen to Ichigo for once! he speaks alot of sense for someone you think is all braun!'' she informed Mayuri before she looked at Mia and then Ichigo ''Leave the town to me...ive got it covered...so dont worry about the others they will be fine...and good luck Ichigo...i'll come by your cell later ok?'' she said to him and waited for his approval of that happening before she would turn and leave there were still many duties for her to carry out with her vice captain responsiblities.

[Kurosaki Ichigo]

Ichigo looked to Rukia his usual scowl before a sudden green light flashed over him causing him to squint his eyes quick as it shone. He looked at Mia about to ask what that was but she confirmed it was for any mutations, that made him look in shock at her, she had never tried this experiment on a human. ''Great'' Ichigo sighed.

He looked back at Rukia as she tried to come back with something after he had told her to be quiet and she ended up agreeing and letting him do as he pleased. ''Good...'' he nodded. His eyes moved onto Byakuya as he questionned if he was sure to go through with plan they had. ''Of course i wanna help...besides...there's still some faith i have left in Soul Society...one of your shinigami helped me'' he said looking to Mia knowing she had beleived him, she had given him the power he needed and so desperatly wanted back again. ''As mad as it sounds...i dont want a quiet life...i dont want to live a normal human life because im not normal...im not a regual human who just wants to live in peace...i want to be involved and be able to protct anyone i wish to...'' he told Byakuya but he paused hearing him say he admired his courage before he left. Ichigo stood there looking confused, did he just say he had admiration for his actions? no it must of been his imagination Byakuya never 'admired' anything about him it wasnt something he'd say so Ichigo dimissed it from his mind like it never happened and then looked to Rukia as she said she would take care of the town and everyone by getting her division to go down to Karakura. ''Ok...i'll leave it to you then...'' he said and then looked to Mayuri and nodded ''Lets go then'' he said.

He stepped forwards but heard Rukia intruct Mayuri to listen to him, he didnt think he would but she had brought it up. He almost smiled to her when she wished him luck with everything and then asked permission if she could come to his cell later. ''Idiot...like i need to give you an answer...of course dumbass...i'll see you a bit later'' he said and then looked to Mia ''Thanks for your help'' he said then followed Mayuri.

He didnt walk beside Mayuri he kept a little behind him and at a steady pace as he looked around, he had never been to this area of Soul Society, the last time he was here was when he battled almost all the captains to stop Rukia's excecution. He suddenly realised he was being asked a question and looked to Mayuri as he asked if it was so bad for him to delve in other things in his mind. ''By 'other things' you mean my childhood right?...'' he began. ''Yes...it would be so bad'' he answered him.

[Reiko Sato]

Mia sighed a little when her captian wasnt going to appoligize "then can i get an appoligy!?" she said and folded her arms a little.
When she saw how intrested he was in how she gained ichigos powers back her eeys widerned in delight "yes i did <3 it was a challange.....though i had to exicute it early seeing as a few people came and inturupted....and i couldnt have my test subject dying otherwise he would have just been a normal soul.....*grits teeth a little remembering having to get ichigo out of the machine quickly then smiles*.... fine i will tell you about it later Mayuri-sama ...." she added.

"hmmmmm test or come with..." she mummbled and tapped her chin in debating it was true lots of testing to be done.

Mia then smiled when Ichigo thanked her "oh no need for thanks i live for experimentation Ichigo and you are an intresting subject" she said.

"i think I will come along" she said glancing back at the blood "...." she then grabbed a small vile and raised her left arm and ran her index fineger down her forarm and a section of her skin came up she peeled it back reviling a small slot for viles she put the small vile of blood in the slot and pushed back the skin. She then followed makeing noted int eh back of her purple book quiertly following Mayuri and Ichigo.

[Asano Keigo]

Mayuri looked at Ichigo as he walked forwards he didnt say anything only looked on at him as he gave an answer to his last question. ''You saying that only makes me want to dig it all up...every last bit'' he said and then looked back in front of him. ''So you dont want a quiet life huh?...cant blame you...somehow i can see that an ordinary life isnt what you'd prefer...your a very active and busy person i just hope your friends and family can keep up with your hectic lifestyle you choose'' he told him before he realised Mia had tagged along too.

''Oh...youre here...i thought you were going to...'' he began but see her conceal one of the viles of blood into a compartment in her forarm. ''Good idea'' he said. He frowned at her ''What on earth do you want an apology for exsactly? because you were locked up in a cell? if anything you should apologise for leaving Soul Society and playing best friends with Ichigo here'' he said. He smirked as she told Ichigo not to thank her ''Haha...'' he chuckled. ''You sound as if you had fun experimenting on him good good'' he said.

Suddenly he stopped seeing they had come to a long bridge walking across was Unohana and her vice captain Isane. Mayuri grumbled a bit ''Not them interfering busy bodies'' he muttered and then grinned widely showing his big square like teeth. ''Oh its you two...'' he said as they crossed paths. Unohana stopped and looked at Mayuri as did Isane. ''I hope everything is all well...'' she said and then looked behind Mayuri looking to Ichigo and Mia. ''Mayuri...would you mind telling me why you have the boy with you?...he is suposed to be inside his cell...why do you have him?'' she questionned him. Mayuri gave a sigh ''My my...i felt sorry for him sitting in that cell all day...'' he lied only for Unohana to fold her arms ''Kurotsuchi Mayuri...i will ask again...why do you have Kurosaki Ichigo with you?'' she said as she closed her eyes up as she smiled being polite and yet she still had a threatening aura as she said it. ''Im afraid it is agasint the rules for you to let him roam free...'' she added and then opened her eyes. Unohana waited before she breathed in ''Kurosaki Ichigo come with me please...'' she said and gestured him to come towards her with her hand. ''Stay where you are Ichigo'' Mayuri suddenly said. Unohana smiled a little ''Oh dear...you are confusing the poor boy....im am assuming you were going to take him back to the cells correct?'' she said only for Mayuri to nod. ''But i dont understand why he is out in the first place..'' she said. ''So i did a little experimenting on him...so what'' Mayuri admitted.

Unohana shook her head ''That...is forbidden...you knew he was human and yet you still went ahead with all of your experiments?...if something were to happen to Ichigo god forbid then you will be held personally responsible'' she added.

[Kurosaki Ichigo]

Ichigo stopped as he asked Mia if she was tagging along too only for her pull back some skin on her arm to his surprise and put one of the viles of blood into a slot in which she could put stuff in. He looked a little put off by the sight of it ''Weird'' he muttered and then continued to walk following a bit behind Mayuri. He only nodded a little towards Mia as she didnt want any thanks it seemed despite all the help she had given him she still saw him as someone interesting to experiment on. He gave a small sigh before he frowned looking to Mayuri as he explained he was only tempted even more to explore his mind when he told him not to. ''You really wanna know about my childhood...you're out of you mind...'' he began but he paused, Mayuri was literally out of his mind, as in crazy anyway. ''Forget it...its nothing you'd find interesting, its stupid human stuff right?'' he added.

He agreed that he wasnt one for a quiet life and Mayuri seemed to of picked up on that ''No...my friends wont have to keep up with me...i'll just have to slow down'' he said to him before he looked ahead seeing Unohana and Isane from the 4th Division. They were probably going to wonder why he was out of his cell he attempted to keep out of Unohana's view stepping back a but and more behind Mayuri trying to obsure their view of him before he suddenly heard Unohana ask why Mayuri was with him, busted. Ichigo gave a sigh as he stepped out from behind Mayuri and looked to Unohana hearing her threatening tone yet she seemed to smile as if she was still being friendly, was a little intimidating and he could see why some shinigami feared her a little. He frowned at Mayuri's poor excuse as to why he was out he almost spoke up and said that he could come up with a better excuse than that but he stopped himself from commenting.

Ichigo then glanced back at Unohana as she gestured him to move towards her, he stepped forwards before Mayuri told him not to. Ichigo stopped looking on in confusion he looked between Unohana and Mayuri before he admitted it was because of the experimeting he had carried out and according to Unohana it was forbidden, he failed to tell him that. ''Unohana-San'' Ichigo suddenly said. ''Its fine...i gave him consent to experiment...i allowed it so that my 16 month sentance would be lifted...and this limiter'' he said as he glanced down to the weird patch still clipped to his shinigami robes.

[Reiko Sato]

Mia glanced at Ichigo when she herd him mutter weird she smiled slightly not insulte she looked towards her captian at his comment of why he should appoligize.
"Because" Mia said and then took a note out of her book and handed it to him it was the noe she recived from him telling her to leave soul socierty for a while.
"and you know i get boared in cells" she added and then continued to write notes down as she recived infomation from the device in her arm about the blood she even drew a little diagram next to it.
"anyway ..... if he was my best friend he would have let me do urth experimentations" she said and continued to write things down.

She kept quiert when the 4th dveison captian spoke. She glanced at ichigo as he told her what had happend.

[Asano Keigo]

Mayuri looked at Mia strangely before he sighed ''A letter....oh about sending you to Soul Society..'' he said. ''I remeber now..so are you saying...that the reason you became aquaintances with Ichigo and got his powers back...was because i sent you to Karakura....hmmm..'' he began to wonder. ''Nonsense! you could of busted out of that cell as quick as you were put into it! i know my division memebers and they know every tridk in the book were you not around when i spoke of how easy it is to escape a cell...'' he began then looked at Ichigo. ''Actually i better not say how out loud otherwise you'll escape'' he said to him.

''Mayuri...hand him over'' Unohana said again interupting, he looked at her and frowned ''No...get your own substitute shinigami hybrid!'' he replied only for Unohana to sigh ''This will not come to a head on collision if you just hand him over'' she said. Mayuri grinned ''Ypu wanna fight me for him then do so'' he said before Ichigo had stepped in. Unohana looked to Ichigo and it was a good job he stepped in when he did because Unohana was about to launch an attack on Mayuri. She blinked a couple of times looking towards him before she smiled to him. ''...Thank you for telling me, Kurosaki-San'' she said and then paused for a bit. ''Is there....anything else you want to tell me?'' she asked politly and waited giving him a chance to reply before she looked to Mayuri. ''You must be glad the boy has come clean about your experimentations and that you had he's consent to do so.....because had Kurosaki-San not of said so then i would have no choice but to report you to captain commander Yamamoto...'' she told him. Mayuri looked on sternly at Unohana ''You think i'd carry out an experiment without the kid's consent...how rude of you to think that of me'' he smirked.

Unohana just shook her head and clicked her sandles together as she straigtened up and turned a little ''In light of this news i will not press for answers from you any further...however my trust in you doesnt not waver from what it was before...and therefore i will escort the boy to his cell with you...'' she said. ''Nothing personal...i just like to see that Kurosaki-San will be ok...'' she said Mayuri frowned ''Fine'' he sighed. Unohana then looked to her vice captain ''Isane...would you go back to the 4th division area and find my paperwork....the file on Itsuki Katakmashima if you would...and leave it in the safe for me...i want to review Ituki's story...see if it can shed any light on this disaterous situation'' she said. ''Hai!'' Isane said and bowed her head to her captain and looked at Mayuri and bowed before she disappeared.

''Shall we...'' Unohana said as she raised her arm and gesutred Ichigo to walk ahead.
Mayuri looekd at Mia ''Looks like our party got crashed'' he said then walked forwards they eventually arrived at one building that was huge and heavily guarded. ''Kurosaki-San...you've been exchanged to the penitance cells...has nobody told you?'' she asked him and by the looks of it, no they hadnt told him. She sighed. ''Come, i will explain'' she said to him. ''This area is where all our more serious cases and prisioners are kept...anyone commiting a serious crime will come here'' she informed him. ''If you are found to be guilty then you will serve your sentance in here...'' she said. ''Yamamoto wishes to speak with you after your first night's stay in Sul Society...he will tell you more im sure of it'' she said but remebered Ichigo mentioned earlier that they were experimenting to lift his limiter and the 16 months sentance he faced. ''What did you mean earlier...'' she began. ''About lifting your sentance...'' she added as she stopped at a guard who bowed his head and allowed them all to walk in. These cells seemed a little different from the last ones except there was so many of them the building just kept going up and up filled with floor levels of cells. ''Your cell Kurosaki-San is near the very top...its the most secured and silent part of the building...there will be 2 others locked away...their crimes were serious...in fact the same reason your here...they tried to betray Soul Society'' she said to him.

Suddenly someone banged on the cell bars ''I didnt do it!!'' one guy yelled ''Shut up! of course you did it your just a guilty as the rest of us'' another shouted. Mayuri looked around and made a face ''Ughh...disgusting shinigami's rather you than me Ichigo'' he smirked at him. One guy was crying in his cell as he rocked back and forth like he was going crazy. They finnally reached the top with alot of interuptions from others locked away commenting. Unohana looked to Ichigo and then Mayuri and Mia. ''May i speak with you later Mayuri?'' she asked before she looked back at Ichigo. ''Here is your cell'' she began to him as she walked forwards and then looked at the other 2 crimminals who looked up but didnt say anything until one suddenly walked up to the bars. ''What ya got there....'' he said shakily before he looked at Ichigo. ''What you in here for kid...threw ya toys out the pram?'' he questionned.

Rukia was on her way to the penitence cells after having dealth with some troublesome paperwork, being a vice captain had its perks she knew but the job also came with plenty of paperwork.
She sighed as she tugged at her bang of hair that fell between her eyes as she walked, her mind turning to all what she had witness back when Mayuri and Mia carried out that all important experiment. Ichigo had been innocent all along, she couldnt help but think back to when Mia was trying to bring his powers back in the Kurosaki house in that basement and she almost attacked Ichigo, she suddenly cringed remebering what she had said to him how she accused him and that she would have to take him to Soul Society by force. ''Nh!...cant beleive i said that to him'' she muttered to herself as she walked her head shaking a bit.

She stopped looking to the guard of the building ''Kuchiki Rukia, vice captain of squad 13 wishes to see the prisioner Kurosaki Ichigo'' she said to him he looked to her vice captain badge strapped to the top of her arm and then tappered down into elbow length white gloves. ''Welcome Kuchiki Rukia'' he said with a nod and was allowed entry. She thanked him and walked inside and looked around seeing all the filthy looking weirdo's in this place yuk, Ichigo didnt belong in a place like this but she gathered he'd be fine with the big mouth he had he'd put them straight she knew.

She walked up some levels picking up on Ichigo's reaitsu, though it wasnt his usual one the one that she could recognise it was a much denser aura probably because his power was sealed away for tempory measures and only his hollow's aura remained. She finnaly reached the top and spotted Mayuri and Mia and Unohana with them. She looked to Ichigo ''How you holding up?'' she said.

[Kurosaki Ichigo]

Ichigo looked at Unohana and just noticed how she seemed like she was going to attack Mayuri, man was he glad he had spoken up quick enough, and there was him thinking he shouldnt interupt it just a minuite ago. Ichigo gave a nod when Unohana thanked him for telling her and then she had asked if there was anything else, that usually meant she knew something else was up. ''N-no...'' he began but he felt bad, his conciounce shouting at him to say otherwise. ''Actually...'' he suddenly said he was unaware he even said it before he frowned and realised he'd have to continue. ''Uh...its nothing i can probably tell you later'' he said and then heard her say she wanted to escort him to the cell's too for nothing personal apparently. He frowned, he hated being monitered like some misbehaved kid that couldnt tell his elbow from his foot, but still some of that was correct he had broken Soul Society 'laws' in their eyes his innocence not yet revealed.

He just walked on in front of them but stopped when he realised he didnt actually know where he was going he looked back at Unohana having to ask which way to turn next before they had reached some place, this wasnt the same cell holding as before. His questions were answered by Unohana as she explained to him he was being mvoed here to cells where only the most worst crimminals woud stay. ''Gee thanks bunch...i know im seen as a bully or a punk back at home but here its another level...'' he said looking at these guy's locked up seemed like they had the rougher side of life, but he could relate to them, in a few ways. ''What you looking at!'' Ichigo suddenly snapped sharply at one of them locked up.

His attention was drawn back onto Unohana as she asked about what he meant from earier. ''Uhh...just that...'' he began but he looked at Mayuri, did he want his plan about drawing Itsuki to him discovered by others? he didnt know but what he did know was that he felt guilt for not saying, Ichigo couldnt lie to anyone to save his life he was a terrible liar and he refused to dodge the question anymore. ''Itsuki's looking for me'' he began as he noticed they had reached his cell. ''Im not guilty at all...in fact there's proof'' he said to Unohana. He suddenly realised a fellow 'inmate' was asking why he was in here and made some referance to him throwing a strop of some sort. ''I took sides with Itsuki and helped him destroy Soul Society, you?'' Ichigo said to him.
