Training With My Friend (Orihime)

[Shoshi Ana]

Ana looked at Urahara and smiled bowing her head at him “Thank-you again but I figured both me and Orihime could do with some practice” she said and headed into the basement, she’d trained here several times, apart from her martial arts outside of this life she was often found in here practicing inside of Urahara’s shop. Though Like Ichigo had suggested she could ask Urahara if he needed help with stuff and he had so Ana had been helping him out with some of his problems like Hollow for one.

She looked around, she remember when she’d been here fighting with the Hollow inside Ichigo. Frowning a little, Ana normally used her powers for attack, she knew her shield was good for defense but it was not often used for that, her telekinesis had been spiking a little though but again another attack weapon. She made a face picking up a rock before letting it go as it hovered in the air. She could only move small objects nothing big though she planned on building that up. She sat down waiting for Orihime to show up as she moved the rock one way and then the other way with the simply movement of her finger.

Orihime had rushed to get to Urahara's she didnt know what things she should take with her if she did really need anything at all that was just herself would be all she needed, oh, and her hairpins! she slid the gleaming turquiose pins into her hair and tied her hair back and out of the way.
Orihime was then out her front door and on her way to Urahara's funny little store, she had visited before but only when Urahara had actually requested her. She remebered whe he told her to stay out of the arrancar battles because she didnt have the heart to attack and kill like most of her friends did.

Orihime walked inside looking around ''Mr Urahara-San?'' she said and then realsied they must be down in the basement. Orihime walked forwards and to the trap door that was the entrance to the huge trainning grounds that sat below his shop. Was amazing really who would of thought there would be such a place!
She opened up to door and climbed down until her feet touched the ground she turned and looked into the distance to see two figures that she made out to be Urahara and Ana, she smiled and then made a run towarrds them. ''Ana!'' she called to her and then stopped beside her then looked to Urahara and bowed her head. ''Mr Urahara-San'' she said. ''Thank you for letting us come here'' she said. Orihime had no idea Ana had aided Ichigo in this very place for his troublesome hollow but if she did then she would of guessed it was not pleasant and a grusome fight too.

''How are you today Ana? i cant wait to train with you!'' she said.

Ana blinked and looked up hearing Orihime arrive, a small smile spread across her face and she stood up as the rock fell back to the ground. Ana waved “Hi Orihime!” Ana called out and winked at her friend when she came over to them. Ana had already thanked the weird guy so she didn’t need to thank him again though she would admit she actually liked chilling out with Urahara at times, he was funny sometimes.

Ana smiled “I’m good Orihime how about you?” she asked, she’d never asked Orihime if it was ok to call her that, Ana had just called her that, like she called many people by their first name expect for those who were far older then her.

Ana clapped her hands and nodded “Right, it’ll be interesting… I mean we both have similar powers… how do you want to play this me throw a bunch of stuff at you and you block or my power against your power… we could try figure out how to combined them… that’ll make Hollow run away!” she said laughing a little before she heard Urahara laughing in the background and looked over not sure what was so funny but he was sitting down as he did… though last time Ichigo had pretty much knocked him out so at least Urahara could get in the way if things got serious but Ana doubted that and she was too afraid she’d hurt Orihime. She waited to hear what Orihime thought, maybe she had a few idea’s.

Orihime smiled and nodded ''Im well thank you...im so glad we could train together!'' she said and then looked around this place seemed bigger if possible, she remebered coming here when she and the gang went to save Rukia from her excecution and Urahara made a portal up for them.

Orihime then looked at Ana hearing her suggestions ''Oh i dont mind we could just make it up as we go along? ill surprise you'' she smiled almost cheekily. Orihime then backed away to put some distance between them and stood on the spot. She looked at Ana ''Are you ready Ana-chan!?'' she called to her with a wave of her hand. Orihime knew this would be interesting she had always wondered what a trainning session with her would be like and she could see Ana's power up front.

Ana smiled and nodded, she was glad she got this chance too, she’d seen Orihime in action but normally she was on the side lines and then ran in to heal someone so it would be interesting to test Orihime and her powers. She pulled her hair up so it wouldn’t get in the way, nothing worse then fighting and your hair getting in the way.

Ana turned to Orihime, it sounded good. “But before we do, I need to tell you something” she said and then thought for a moment, she hadn’t exactly planned out how this would go. “Remember what we were talking about at school the other day… well am I found him” she said rubbing her arm for a moment and then looked back to Orihime. “Ichigo is doing ok, he’s doing training and said he’d be back real soon to tell us everything, he looks ok though, healthy and fit… so no need to worry because he said he’ll tell us everything real soon” she said, that way she hadn’t told Orihime the entire truth but had given her the basics.

She then smiled “So let’s get this training started so when he comes back we can show him just how strong we’ve gotten” she said like it would be sweet victory and laughed a little. And held her hands together in front of her, clasped shut before moving them apart forming a small round shield, a ball of energy, this was normally how her shield looked. Moving her hands around it as it grew bigger and glanced to Orihime smiling a little.

Orihime smiled as watched Ana but she stopped hearing she had somethng to say.
She blinked a few times and then nodded ''Umm ok...what is it?'' she said and waited patiently.
Orihime listened to all Ana said about having found Ichigo, he eyes widened. ''You found him!'' she gasped before settling back down. He was well and ok according to Ana and he told Ana he would explain when he returned, she smiled to herself. ''Thank goodness'' she muttered and then smiled at Ana, she had a thought though, Ichigo had been back in town for a while and she would of tracked him down and wanted to actually see him. ''Thank you for telling me Ana!'' she said. ''Im sure if he told you all that then everything's fine...though i would of liked to of seen him...im just missing him right now, but i understand he has to go do something he's busy so i wont disturb him...lets get down to this trainning and show him how much we've improved!'' she smiled, her mind was at least to rest now she knew he wasnt hurt or in trouble. Orihime then perpared herself.

She watched Ana form a ball of energy and at the same time Orihime raised her hands touching each of her hairpins and thinking on her first move she remebered some tactics she had picked up from watching her friends in battles. Orihime was deciding on which of her flower fairies to call on first.

Ana felt better know Orihime knew part of the truth and nodded. She also knew what she hoped to make Orihime, to turn her into that was, help her out of her shell, though she loved Orihime she felt one day her kindness would be the end of her, she had to bring out that darker side to her friend she just hoped Orihime was up for it. There were times when one had to stop hoping everyone would become good, that everyone wanted to be saved, that sometimes you had to kill and it was part of life, you didn’t have to like it but you did need to accept it. Ana was not sure though that Orihime would ever be able to so she hoped to test her and while Ichigo was away she would make Orihime stronger so she could defend herself more. It was great to have backup but you didn’t always get that and you had to fight and kill to survive.

“I have to warn you Orihime… I’m not going to hold back, but I wont kill you. I need you to think of me like a Hollow, not a friend. I’m here, I’m dangerous, I’m not Ana I’m a Hollow, I’m going to kill you but first I’m going to make you watch me kill Ichigo” she said knowing how Orihime felt about Ichigo, hopefully if Orihime could use her imagination this might work “then I’m going to kill you and your friends and with you gone no one can protect them and then I’ll go after Ichigo’s sisters, his father your friends families and all those innocent people you could have saved. I don’t expect you to understand this tactic but right now… I am not Ana, think you can do that?” she asked and without warning she flew her ball of a shield right at Orihime and quickly formed another one in each of her hands.

Ana wouldn’t seriously hurt Orihime, hence the small shields, she had this power for a long time, she knew how to make it work, how to use it not just as a shield but also as a weapon, how to make round ones, flat ones, how to make them go before someone, cover them, press on them as a torture device, how a simple touch she can transfer her energy into someone and form a shield inside someone and make it explode or press down on ones chest to break ribs like she had to Ichigo when the Hollow had taken over. “What would you do if the Hollow inside Ichigo came out… he won’t leave you or walk away, he’ll attack you, over and over and over” she said and sent her other shields towards Orihime exploding near her loudly “And you’ll have no choice but to fight Orihime, to call to Ichigo as you do to help him break through the darkness, remember that lesson if you ever need it.” she said hopefully Orihime wouldn’t ever be in a battle with the Hollow inside Ichigo.

Orihime focused on Ana and then nodded when she told her she wouldnt be going easy, which was good she needed toughened up. She was never the one to fight and always the calmer side of Ichigo's group. She always healed anyone if they needed it and she took care of people because thats who she was her enemies saw it as a weakness in her but reallly she liked to see it as a strength having the ability to save someone's life was her strength and that was enough for her, only lately it seemed she was being targetted aswell as her other friends and she needed to learn what to do when Ichigo wasnt around to hear her calls for help, she knew she should stop relying on him and give him a break and let him felt at ease that she would be ok everytime a hollow jumped out in front of her. But on the other hand she just couldnt help it Ichigo was the strength of the group the one that endured all the fighting and pain for others she would so love to be a help rather than a nuissance to him.

Orihime blinked a few times hearing Ana say she wasnt her friend but a hollow ,made sense because she had to picture the situatuon. ''Okay i can do that'' she smiled but then frowned ''I mean fine!'' she said a little more firmer though it didnt really suit her to be tough because it didnt match her appearance. Orihime didnt seem to like what Ana suggested next, that she would force her to watch Ichigo's death. Her eyes widened at the thought ''No!'' she said quickly dismissing the idea. Ana knew what buttons to press, and true if anyone made her watch such a thing she be furious and full of other emotions but more than anything guilty the guilt of not being able to do anything she had witnesses some grusome beatings Ichigo endured from all kinds of powerful enemies it was horrible to even watch let alone imagine it. ''...S-sorry Ana'' she sighed.

Orihime then watched Ana closely waiting for her to attack then see it her sheilds flyinb at her. ''Santten Kisshun!!'' Orihime commanded to which her hairpins reacted and fored a sheild in front of her to block Ana's attacks only it shattered and Orihime had to dodge out the way to avoid the explosion. She looked back at Ana as she explained to her what if Ichigo's hollow came out, she had never even thought about coming to a head on with his hollow she knew it was dangerous but the idea of her agasint him was unimaginable. ''He woudnt, Ichigo would never...'' she began but looked to the floor. She knew Ichigo would never hurt her and he would protect her as much as he could but his hollow was a different person and he would not save her from anything nor would he hesitate to attack her.

Ana knew, she'd seen Orihime's reaction, that was her key, right there, that was how she could bring Orihime out in this fight and she'd make it her down fall... if Orihime couldn't keep up, if she couldn't hold it together than Ana had already one the battle. She needed to push Orihime's buttons right there and make it not become a weak spot. "Why are you apologising Orihime?" Ana asked and frowned at her "Focuss come on. I mean let's face it your enemy is not going to slow because you said you were sorry, I wouldn't, I'd see it as weakness, I'd attack" she said and threw another shield at Orihime "While saying you are sorry is a good thing make sure you know what's going on around you and make sure you don't let it or your feelings or sorrow get in the way of a fight"

Ana was unsure how Orihime's powers worked exactly, she assumed it had to do with will power and emotions, hers did. If Orihime was not 100% set on what she wanted then she could see flaw there, she had to get Orihime to be stronger in herself or it could mean trouble for them all in the future. While they all had their own weaknesses and they all relied on one another she had to admit as much as she hated to, Orihime was the weakness of everyone, she was simply too kind even to her enemies which is why people were always having to assist her, always worrying about her. She admired Orihime for her compassion but sometimes, compassion, it needed to be reserved for after the battle not during it, that's what got people killed.

Ana saw her opening, Orihime looked down, she took her eyes off the enemy, big mistake. Within moments Ana was before Orihime tilting her head as her eyes made contact with Orihime "Do you know what you just did wrong?" Ana asked gently enough before she grabbed Orihime's shirt, put one of her own feet back gaining a good stance and pushed Orihime down applying pressure to her chest "You took your eye off the enemy. Don't... it opens you up to attacks, if you hadn't seen me, if you hadn't focussed on my energy and I really was the enemy you'd be dead right now... I'd have stabbed you right through the heart before you'd even known it... focus Orihime, stay alert!" she said standing up and stood before Orihime again giving her a chance to get up.

"Now get up and try again. You can't let yourself get distracted, think don't rush... pay attention or you will die. I am the enemy remember... now let's go" she said taking on a stance hands raised before she jumped to attack Orihime. It was simply training, but Ana had been taught differently, she devoted most of her time when not at school, when not hunting Hollow, she was training, she was doing her martial arts, helping her siblings in theirs and practicing her gifts, if she ever loosed her powers though she needed a fall back, it's why she spent so much time practicing her martial arts. She'd heard Orihime was good at it but she'd never seen her use it before. She was here to train with Orihime and she was going to, she'd push her and hopefully Orihime would push back, she'd keep doing this until neither of them could stand, she'd push them to their breaking point, to Orihime's, she needed to see how much work Orihime needed to do and where she needed it and vice versa. It was the way Ana had been trained and so far, it had kept her alive.

Orihime looked at Ana as she questionned why she had apologised ''D-did i...'' she began before she cupped a hand over her mouth ''Sor-....i mean i dont know why..'' she frowned to herself. Why would she apologise to an enemy was beyond her! She looked up seeing Ana's sheild come flying towards her she pulled her hands from her mouth and waved them in front of her causing a shield of her own to form in front to block the attack.

She knew her emotions got in the way of her potential she had a gift a remarkable one she had been blessed with and her powers origin still remained a mystery there was no others like her to be able to reverse time on an injury she wasnt healing at all just undoing events. But her attacking side was yet to be unleashed and unlocked to its full potential but she let her heart waver she wore her heart on her sleeve and let out her emotions alot especially when it came to Ichigo who happened to have a piece of her heart and emtions.

She had to learn how to channel that energy into strong attacks to defend herself or those she cares about. She was deeply invovled with Ichigo's group and in the spiritual world she needed to toughen up in order to not be left behind everyone had gained new power and new found confidence and grown in themself she had just been keeping up with studies.

Orihime then looked back up hearing how she had took her eyes off the enemy she gasped as she was pulled to the floor she looked at Ana as she explained as to why it was careless to look away from an opponant she nodded a little before she got back up on her feet and tried to focus she furrowed her brows and tried to put herself there use her imagination if it were so she could get in the zone picturing how she should be up against a hollow. She watched Ana and see her go to attack she threw her hand out ''Shi- Ten Kesshun!'' she commanded and another shield came up only this time if Ana came into contract with the sheild it would explode and send out its own attack right at her.
