PERSONALITY

Ichigo's personality is extremely complex and is what makes him who he is. At first glance he is a rough, impolite and quite intimidating kind of guy who loves to fight and cant keep his mouth shut. But that is only at first impressions and there is alot more to him than just being a loud mouthed punk kind of kid.

His personality is as crabby as his star sign showing he can be very cold and brush you off without a care. Ichigo is outspoken, brave, Indifferent, bored, and borderline annoyed and is usually how he acts, alternating with cocky and confrontational when fights are involved, and occasionally extremely irate. He has even said so himself that if someone would pick a fight with him, he cannot help but fight back because of his short temper. He is extremely stubborn and will not let an insult slide by him and will speak his mind not worrying about anyone's perceptions of him.

He appears like a jerk who doesnt care and doesn't really care about what people think, or overly much about people. Because of this it leads to Ichigo being very unapproachable to others and makes it difficult for anyone to talk to him. People are somewhat to a certain extent afraid of him even though he seems to have a laid back esscence about him many admire from afar. He has gained a bad reputation and why hardly anyone talks to him and is where Ichigo differs from everyone's thoughts and perceptions about him, Ichigo is not stupid at all and knows very well that everyone thinks he is not very friendly or intelligent to which he plays up to it purposely, just to prove others wrong and that he is a heck of alot more considerate and intelligent than he appears. He has shown to be a good student keeping up well with his studies just so he can surprise his teacher's thoughts on him being a slacker.

Its become more apparent now that he is older how much more resopnsible he has become. His almost childish attitude appears to of been replaced by a more level headed and understanding traits in him. He has earned his subsistute status over the past years and is well known by Soul Society for his bravery with the help of his friends.

Ichigo possesses specialed hollow abilities that no human should ever attain. Ichigo's real and true identity remains unknown he has however been informed by his shinigami father Isshin that he is not human nether is he competely a shinigami leading Ichigo to further confusion, desperate for answers he now is on a self discovering path to a to who or what exactly he is.

Ichigo's zanpakuto is always in a relase form he cannot seal it into a smal blade like most shinigami.

Ichigo's shikai form

The Shikai form of Zangetsu resembles an oversized khyber knife instead of a formal katana. It has no tsuba and no proper hilt; what Ichigo holds is the cloth-wrapped tang. The sword is about as tall as Ichigo is,[518] and has a black blade with a silver edge. The cloth wrapping on the tang seems to react to Ichigo's will, changing length at a thought or twining about the blade in an impromptu sheath. When in combat, the cloth falls away when necessary, shrinking back to a manageable size.[519] The cloth can be used to swing the weapon like a flail and to toss it at opponents for mid-range combat,[520][521] as well as bandage wounds,[522] but these are done rarely. Ichigo has, on more than one occasion, used Zangetsu's wide blade as a shield from incoming attacks,[523][524] and for deflecting energy attacks.[525] Unlike most Zanpakutō, which can be sealed into their original form, Zangetsu is always in its Shikai form. Yoruichi Shihōin has stated his Zanpakutō is a full-time released form type because of Ichigo's vast but uncontrollable spiritual energy upon generation of it, implying it is simply a type of Zanpakutō which, without proper control of his spiritual energy, remains in Shikai form once in said state.[526] After being influenced by the remaining traces of Ichigo's Fullbring,[527] Zangetsu's appearance changes, giving the blade a silver hilt with gray wrappings, and a short length of chain at its base. The blade itself becomes slightly reshaped, curving inwards at the backside of the tip, similar to a trench knife.[528] When stored away on Ichigo's back, the former cloth still materializes to act as an impromptu sheath.[529]
Shikai Special Ability: Zangetsu's Shikai is largely used for melee combat, but possesses one known special ability.

Getsuga Tenshō (月牙天衝, Moon Fang Heaven-Piercer; "Piercer of Heaven" in the English anime): At the instant of the slash, Zangetsu, absorbing Ichigo's spiritual energy, releases highly condensed spiritual energy at the tip of the blade, which, magnifying the slash attack, flies forward.[530] This slash takes the form of a crescent moon or the shape of a wave.[531] Ichigo uses this ability without knowing its name several times, but masters the technique later on during his Bankai training. As stated by Zangetsu, knowing the name of an attack heightens its power compared to its strength when the wielder does not know its name.[532] The Getsuga Tenshō is a powerful technique with great force, capable of causing large-scale damage and destruction. Ichigo has used this technique in several different manners, such as striking the ground, creating an omnidirectional blast which knocks away incoming attacks, or slashing at the ground, upturning it and crushing everything in its path.[533] After Ichigo regains his Shinigami powers for the second time, his Getsuga Tenshō is noticeably larger and stronger than it was before he lost his powers.[534] A single strike from it cleanly cut off the top portion of Tsukishima's mansion and dispersed an entire rainstorm.

Heaven Chain Slaying Moon): Ichigo points his Zanpakutō in a straight direction, using either a single hand or both of his hands, with the cloth of his Shikai surrounding his arm and tightening during the activation. His spiritual power surges, with the smoke obscuring his being.[536] It is considered completely out of the ordinary for any Zanpakutō. Unlike most Bankai forms, which usually create some sort of massive creature or effect, Ichigo's Bankai shrinks his sword down to a daitō (Japanese long sword) with a black blade instead. The cross guard has four prongs bent out to form the shape of the manji (which is the kanji for "ban," meaning "full," as in "full release"). The blade itself can endure even the strongest of attacks, making it quite effective in blocking and deflecting incoming attacks.[537] It can withstand getting crushed by force.[538] The blade is strong and sharp enough to cut clean through Kūgo Ginjō's sword.[539] Commenting on the blade's strength and durability, Gin Ichimaru claimed it felt like his was about to break from hitting it.[540] Instead of the cloth his Shikai form had, a short length of chain with a broken link at the end dangles from the base of the hilt. In addition to his sword, Ichigo's robe is replaced with a long-sleeved, ankle-length black coat (or shihakushō) with red lining, which is closed at his chest and left to flare out into ragged ends, much like that of Zangetsu himself.[541] This coat is part of Ichigo's Bankai, and the damage it can take is directly proportionate to the remaining strength and level of Ichigo's Reiatsu.[542]

After his training in the Dangai, Ichigo's Bankai takes on a slightly different appearance. While Zangetsu still takes the form of a daitō with a black blade, the four prongs on the cross guard extend out farther than they previously did. While still in the shape of the manji, the prongs become more abstract and slender in appearance. Ichigo's right hand becomes covered by a black glove, and the chain at the base of Zangetsu's hilt extends out further than it previously did, spiraling up the length of his sleeveless right arm, with the additional portion of the chain hanging down freely from his upper arm.[543] Tensa Zangetsu Version 3.

After being influenced by the remaining traces of Ichigo's Fullbring,[527] the appearance of his Bankai changes. He wears a white undershirt beneath his black shihakushō, which is now open. Held together by three "x"-shaped marks, it ends in a number of coattails. Ichigo wears black gloves, with white "x"-shaped marks appear on both the gloves and his forearms. Tensa Zangetsu's blade is much longer (roughly the length of his Shikai), and becomes more curved as it nears the tip, with three protrusions along the blunt end of the sword close to its tip. While retaining its manji-like shape, the tsuba becomes more curved and jagged.[544] Tensa Zangetsu's chain is now longer, attaching to both the base of the sword's hilt and to Ichigo's glove, forming a wide loop.

THE STORY SO FAR

Ichigo was born on July 15th, as the son of Masaki and Isshin Kurosaki, 15 years before he became a Shinigami. His sisters Karin Kurosaki and Yuzu Kurosaki were born a few years later. When he was four, Ichigo joined a karate dojo, where he met and befriended Tatsuki Arisawa. Tatsuki beat Ichigo in every match they had. Tatsuki would also help Ichigo if he was being picked on by bullies and cheer him up if he was upset.

Ichigo was able to see Pluses for as long as he could remember. He could see them so clearly that, as a child, he could not tell the living from the dead. This resulted in him appearing to other people to be looking at deserted places and talking to himself. This caused people to say that he could see ghosts, though when Tatsuki Arisawa asked him about this, he denied being able to see them.

On June 17th, when Ichigo was nine years old, he and his mother were walking home alongside one of Karakura Town's rivers; which was swollen from heavy rain. Ichigo saw a girl near the river and thought that she was about to jump into it. Unable to tell the difference between ghosts and living people, Ichigo ran towards her to stop her, unaware that the girl was the lure of the Hollow Grand Fisher. Masaki tried to stop him, but he did not listen. After failing to grab hold of the girl, Ichigo lost consciousness for a time. When he awoke, Masaki was lying on top of him, covered in blood. Starting the day after Masaki's death, Ichigo repeatedly skipped school to go to the riverbank where Masaki died. Tatsuki found him there, where he would stay from morning until night, wandering along the bank as if searching for his mother.

When Ichigo was twelve, prior to the Clinic opening, he answered the door to find a girl with her brother on her back. He had been in a car accident and was covered in blood. The clinic did not have the equipment necessary to save him and he died before an ambulance arrived to transfer him to Karakura Hospital. He remebered sitting with the girl trying to comfort her as she cried and it brought back all his distant memories of Masaki. Sometime later, he learned that the girl was Orihime Inoue.

Ichigo had just entered his teens and went to Mashiba junior High School. At this point Ichigo seemed to of gotten his punk like reputation and the start of his thug perceptions. During this time, Ichigo had finally defeated Tatsuki in a karate match and had not had another match with her since. Ichigo regularly got into fights with thugs, due to the unusual color of his hair. During one of these fights he protected Yasutora Sado from a gang. When the thugs later abducted Chad, Ichigo found them and knocked out their leader. He used the leader of that gang's own phone to ring for an ambulance for each of the five thugs, and then beat all of them. After Chad was freed they made a pact to protect and fight for each other, they have remained as friends ever since.

Shortly before Ichigo turned 15 and became a Shinigami, he and Chad began attending Karakura High School, and their reputations preceded them. During a fight with a gang led by Reiichi Ôshima, Ichigo and Chad met Keigo Asano and Mizuiro Kojima, saving the former in the process. While Keigo was initially afraid of Ichigo and Chad, both he and Mizuiro later became friends with them.

Once he became a shinigami Ichigo's life pretty much changed completely and he took on new challenges having to save lives of many people. He is since then growing in skills and determination. During the two years that have passed Ichigo has trainned to gain his hollow's power he also attained a job although doesnt attend very often.
