[Kurosaki Ichigo]

Ichigo watched Grimmjow as his laughter was cut short, he hated being underestimated and Grimmjow did that alot. It seemed to of taken Grimmjow by surprise that he had deflected his attacks. Ichigo see him stumble back, he just didnt want Orihime involved in violence he knew she wasnt the fighting type, that she would rather step back and be the one to heal up. Sometimes Ichigo hated himself for not being able to protect people, and not being able to heal anything at all, he had no form of kido at all.
Ichigo suddenly lifted his zanpakuto its chain clanging on the blade as he moved it seeing Grimmjow heasign towards him again, but he ran passed him! why?
Ichigo then heard the shattering of Orihime's sheild, his heart sunk. ''INOUE!!'' he yelled before racing towards them. He shoved Orihime out of the way and caught Grimmjow's zanpakuto with his hand. Ichigo's hand was torn, bleeding badly that attack was worse thsn Ichigo had thought. ''YOU BASTARD!!! YOU COULD OF KILLED HER WITH THAT HIT!!'' he yelled angrily at Grimmjow.

[Inoue Orihime]

Orihime was shoved back but Grimmjow had moved so fast and shattered her sheild so quick she had barely realised it.
She stumbled back a little and looked up to Ichigo, about ask him what was going on, but he was stood in front of her, and took the hit for her. She grew shocked seeing blood hit the floor.
''Kuro...saki-Kun...'' she said nervously, he'd done it again, saved her life. She frowned looking down a sympathetic look on her face. He really did become her guardian angel, she had never had anyone protect her the way he did. She was never given any love or attention he parents absued her when she was little, they beat her to death nearly, she only relied on her brother's care, he got her thorugh the bad times, but he was dead he had fallen at the feet of hollow, and then came Ichigo, she had never had protection she was so used to being the one getting hit. Ichigo was a true shinigami in her eyes, he did his job the way it should be done, he had all his morals in the right place, he didnt get stronger to brag about it, he got stronger because his enemies got more powerful, he needed to keep up in order to save the ones he loved. She tried to bring out the good qualities in Ichigo, even if he had a daker side to him, she would have to balance out his good and bad.
But one thing that did bother her was how far he was going to save her, she knew that she would do the same for him, she would not even have a second thought about it, she would die for Ichigo if it meant he'd live, and it seemed like Ichigo was exsactly the same, he was putting his life at stake for her, and yet Ichigo had no feelings towards her, he needed waking up, a reality check of his human life the one he had forgotten about.
She looked to Grimmjow, she couldnt help a tear escape her eye, she wiped it away quick, he was hurting Ichigo. She decided to get out of the way some more, but before she did she moved towards Ichigo. ''Please be careful Kurosaki-Kun'' she told him and then turned away and walked back some steps, she kept her head down looking to the floor. She suddenly heard a voice from some tres at the side of her, she looked up gasping, seeing one of those thugs from before. ''Psst! girl! over here....we will hide you if you want...'' he said.
Orihime looked a little confused ''But...you want me dead...i cant go with you'' she told him.

Just as he expected!
Grimmjow grinned maliciously at Ichigo, ''You'd really die for that girl wouldnt you! thats pathetic Kurosaki! your meant to look out for yourself, you, number 1 ya know! who cares if someone else dies why the hell can you not enjoy having a huge and bloody fight, someone with your kind of power wouldnt give a shit about saving anyone, they'd wanna put their name around so your feared! instead your saving everyone...people are gonna think your a weak ass!'' he laughed as he scraped his blade backwards making sure he cut into Ichigo's hand a bit more.
''You say i could of killed her with that hit? most probably, but i'd make sure she had a painful death dont worry, if she wasnt so weak and such an easy target then you can stop worrying about her if shes dead right!'' he laughed again.
Grimmjow couldnt inderstand how Ichigo didnt want power to fight.
He noticed those mobs sniffing around Orihime again, though he wasnt going to inform Ichigo of it, the sooner she died the better fight he would get from Ichigo.

[Kurosaki Ichigo]

Ichigo could hear Orihime behind him, he frowned a little more to himself pretty much, his eyes traveled down onto his torn up hand, he dread to think what would of happened if he hadnt of stepped in, he knew Orihime was completely capable of taking care of herself, but he felt like he had to make sure she safe like an extra barrier for her. He had lost the person he said he was going to protect, he was a failure at protecting his mother, and he wasnt ever going to fail to protect Orihime. It was like his seconds chance to not let another important person slip away from him again, he'd save all his friends in the same way, but he had personally made a once in a lifetime promise to Orihime he'd made her a promise and he couldnt break it ever, if he died saving her then he'd be fine with that.
Grimmjow's attack had way too much force in it, it was clear he was trying to use Orihime to get to him, Ichigo's weakness was his friends they were the most easiest way to get to Ichigo. If Grimmjow was planning on killing Orihime with that attack then he'd have to stand guard by her at all costs, now Grimmjow knew how to get to him all he had to do was keep trying to attack her. Ichigo scowled to Grimmjow after what he had said, he didnt want to be this town hero or so they would call it, he was just a kid himself he should be worrying about what he does at school or hanging out with friends, but he wouldnt change the current life he had, he could stand up and defend threats. But Grimmjow thought it was pathetic, of course he would he was power hungry and jsut wanted to be known as a powerful espada. ''Shut up!! i became a shinigami to save the ones i care about! not to become something like you'' he snapped but then flinched asfter Grimmjow dragged his blade back and out of Ichigo's hand. Ichigo looked to his wound and frowned, that hit was quite some attack, it had pretty much disabled Ichigo's movements in his hand, or broken something. Ichigo would find it difficult to use his zanpakuto properly, now he had a disadvantage, and Grimmjow was standing the same way he was when he first got here, unharmed.

''Shit'' Ichigo muttered, he was bleeding alot from that, it was lucky it only hit his hand. But injury or no injuries he was still going to fight for Inoue no matter how injured he got, he'd still stand up even if it was impossible to, he'd find a way.
Though Grimmjow mentioned Orihime dying would get a better fight from him, that angered him even more. ''I SAID SHUT UP!!'' he yelled and rushed at Grimmjow going to attack him again. He had no idea that the mobs from before were still about, and planing on snatching Orihime.

[Inoue Orihime]

Orihime watched as the mobs moved in closer to her. ''We dont want you dead! were afraid of Grimmjow, he'd kill us in a second you do know Grimmjow's the 6th espda! he'll tear our heads off in the blink of an eye, we keep out of his way and then he shouldnt harm us, unless we make eye contact with him'' one spoke up.
Orihime looked uncertain, she didnt trust them at all, but she could belive that they were afraid of Grimmjow, he was violent malicious battle seeker, he was frightening. She looekd to the ground ''Im sorry, im going to stand by Kurosaki-Kun im not going to leave his side until i know he is unharmed, i want to heal him if he needs it, be there for him, like he's always been there for me'' she said and nodded at her statement.
She looked over her shoulder to Ichigo and Grimmjow, their spritual pressure was imense, it was coming on too strong, like it could choke her if she got any closer to them.
But while she was focusing on the battle, she hadnt realised the mobs had surrounded her again, one wrapped his hand over her shouder and covered her mouth to stop her from screaming while the other yanked her backwards. Orihime gasped, trying to scream out loud to get Ichigo's attention, he was in a situation of his own, she didnt want to pester Ichigo and rely on his all the time, she had to face up to things sometimes, even if she was petrified of these guys. But a scared Orihime was hardly goign to do any damage, Tsubaki her attacking flower would weaken and her scaredness would show through Tsubaki. She fell stumbled backwards as she was dragged back. One mob pinned Orihime's arm down to stop her from moving, and she couldnt summon her shun shun rikka her speech was muffled!
One mob grinned to Orihime and put his hand to her face, it made her shiver with disgust they were smothering her, she couldnt breath they were all over her, she couldnt see Ichigo or Grimmjow anymore, it was getting all too much. Orihime quickly brought her knee up hitting one of the mobs directly into his stomatch causing him to back off a bit and cough a lot. ''You stupid bitch!!!'' he yelled at her slamming her head back into the tree behind her. Orihime tried to yell again but her mouth was still covered. She jsut wanted them to disappear stopped crowind her so she could breath again.

Grimmjow's laughter was caught short, ''You dont wanna be like me ay? come on Kurosaki we both know that you want to fight, and im sorry to break it to ya, but you already are closer to someone lime me than ever....your a hollow or did your forget that, you cant ever get rid of that thing, its going to be there forever giving you that sense of battle, hollows are battle hungry they will trample on anyone! just like me...you get it now?'' he said, now noticing Ichigo's hand was in a bad way and could no longer use it. Grimmjow laughed again ''Wow that really did nearly kill that bitch......cant you see your body's acustomed to battle, you can withstand heavy injuries than ordinary humans cant....it probably isnt bothering you you still think you can protect her even when your at a disadvantage'' he laughed again.
He looked over to Orihime seeing those mobs now overcrowding her, he grinned a little then looked back to Ichigo seeing his reaciton after he had mentioned Orihime dying. He quickly lifted his zanpakuto upwards blocking Ichigo's hit creating sparks flying everywhere from the metal scraping and making a nasty noise that echoed.
''Thats more like it!! your so much better when youve got the will to kill me, you hate me dont you! so come and kill me if you can!'' he laughed again and with that he jumped up still keeping his blade down on Ichigo's and then swung his legs over his zanpakutp and towards Ichigo's head, he still had Ichigo blade held back so his defence was out of the question. His feet moved rapidly, as if cutting through the air.

[Kurosaki Ichigo]

Ichigo's jaw fell open a little, how could he say he was like him, the bad thing about it that really got to Ichigo was that it was true. ''Shut up!! im not a hollow! thats got nothing to do with this!'' he yelled angrily at Grimmjow giving an angered yell after as he swung his zanpakuto for him again but he had blocked it. Ichigo sharply looked up more seeing Grimmjow move his feet over his zanpakuto and still kept his back so he couldnt defend. ''Dammit'' Ichigo cursed before getting Grimmjow's foot straight to his jaw hitting him hard and sending him back. Though Ichigo flipped himself over backwards and landed on his feet crouched down. He panted a bit, feeling blood trickle down the side of his face, he was fast.
Ichigo grinded his teeth together glaring at Grimmjow, but he had noticed Grimmjow was looking elsewhere. He suddenly widened his eyes ''Inoue...'' he said to himself, he hadnt seen her in safety for a while, he should of been watching, he should of been right in front of her the whole time. Ichigo without a moments hesitation stood up quick turning round seeing the group of mobs in a crowd round Orihime further up. ''INOUE!!'' Ichigo yelled he raced forwards fastly and reached the group, he cut right through 5 or 6 at least in one go and grabbed some by the collar yanking them back until Orihime coudl at least have some breathing space. He looked to her head where she had been hurt and frowned ''Im sorry Inoue, im not letting youo ut of my sight...'' he said to her before cutting through another one ''GET OUTTA HERE!! LEAVE HER ALONE!!'' Ichigo snapped at all of them before cutting down another one.
He looked back to Orihime and softened his expression a little ''Inoue, let me know if any come near you'' he said to her, he still had Grimmjow to fight, but now he have to jump back and forth to protect Orihime and then try and win agaisnt Grimmjow, he didnt mind it in the slightest, he said he'd make sure they didnt hurt her, he just couldnt belive he hadnt stopped them earlier, they were surrounding her and trying to kill her even.
He looked back to Grimmjow tightening his grip on his zanpakuto, Ichigo decided he was going all out to stop Grimmjow, he'd need speed to get from Inoue back to Grimmjow. Ichigo moved his zanpakuto out to the side a dakr blacki and red spiritual energy flowing from him, soon enough Ichigo was now in his bankai form, at least now he would be able to read Grimmjow's rapid movements better.

[Inoue Orihime]

Orihime suddenly felt like she was free all of a sudden, she had shut her eyes tightly to block out the mobs and their words. But she slowly opened her eyes hearing Ichigo's comforting voice. She let her scared expression fade and it was quickly replaced with a joyful look. ''Ichigo...'' she smiled some more. ''Thank you..'' she breathed out a sigh of releif, she see his frown after he had noticed her forhead, which had a black bruise appearing on. She laughed faintly waving her hands in front of her ''Its nothing i promise...im fine...now that youre...'' she began but stopped and trailed off in her sentance. ''Here'' she said in her head finishing what she she was going to say in her mind. Ichigo was beating himself up again for letting her out of his sight, she had gotten hurt, but if it wasnt for him then she would surly be dead and buried by now, she didnt stand a chance in hell of killing enemies, and she kind of liked having Ichigo's protection it meant that he was focusing on her, she had his attention which she couldnt get enough of. He seemed to have an effect on her, it made her feel giddy sometimes and go into a trance. She wanted to hold him, and tell him everything was ok, but he was hating himself for letting her get the slightest injury, but she couldnt embrace him, as much as she wanted to, she couldnt bring herself to do such a thing. ''Kurosaki-Kun...'' she said to him smiling gently ''Im greatful for what you do to protect me...im so glad i have you around...im glad i have you as my friend...but please Ichigo....dont feel bad im safe....'' she told him.
She watched Ichigo seeing he needed to fight off Grimmjow, she gave a nod once he asked her to let him know about any more of those guys trying their luck. ''I will'' she said.
She took some steps back from him and looked to the mobs on the floor, some dead some just knocked out.
One was laying there in pain shaking, he stagged to his knees looking to Orihime, though she was far to busy looking at Ichigo and smiling to herself, though the feeling of being watched made Orihime turn her heard there stood the mob a huge sword in his hands raised above his head. ''KUROSAKI!!'' she shrieked shtting her eyes as she called him.

Grimmjow see Ichigo go of to save Orihime big time, ''Your lucky woman! if it werent for Kurosaki round here then i'd kill you myself'' he called out to her though he spat out some blood onto the paving before wiping his cuff across his mouth.
Of course Ichigo was a hollow, but only in a half sense, half of him was hollow the other human. ''So your a vizard then...but you certainly aint anything ordinary...get a grip Kurosaki!'' he laughed. He watched as Orihime had spoken to Ichigo, though he hadnt heard what she had said. He smirked seeing Ichigo had turned to face him again, and was now in his bankai form, his smirk grew wider into a malicious grin. ''Brilliant!!! this is great!'' he cackeled evily.
''Come on then....come and get me'' he said and ran at Ichigo fast and sent his arm flying out going to smack into Ichigo's side before he made a quick flip of his body before landing beside Ichigo and sending his elbow directly into his ribcage. He then flipped a good few times kickingh is legs up to counterbalance him and help him fliped over more sending his knee straight into Ichigo ribs again. He laughed some more before jumping to the other side of Ichigo. ''You keeping up?'' he said but then looked over to Orihime after hearing her call Ichigo, he frowned ''If that bitch thinks your at her beck and call she can think again! youre not going anywhere until youve finished trying to kill me!'' he snapped.

[Kurosaki Ichigo]

Ichigo looked to Orihime in surprise, though he gave a small smile to her after she had thanked him, he wanted to help her it wasnt something he felt he had to do, it was something he himself wanted to do for her. ''Inoue, you dont have to thank me...'' he said to her. Though what she had said next had reasured him, she was safe that was what mattered to him.
He then turned his attention on Grimmjow he was still teasing and threatening him. ''I said shut up already!!'' he yelled but see Grimmjow run towards him. He blocked Grimmjow's arm easily his speed from his bankai had made it that more quicker to react to his attacks. But Grimmjow was still fast. Ichigo was flickering out of Grimmjow's hits rapidly he was pretty much unseen. Though once he heard Orihime call him he looked over his shoulder seeing to his shock that she was in trouble. But Grimmjow wasnt going to let him go anywhere. ''Dont you try and stop me!!'' he yelled. He swung his now streamline and fully black zanpakutp round to hti Grimmjow but then sent his fist at him the other side as a distraction.
Once he had distracted Grimmjow he rushed to Orihime and flickered away in the blink of an eye reappearing in front of Orihime inbetween her and the guy. Ichigo looked to his side seeing Grimmjow again, this was getting difficult. ''Dammit'' Ichigo muttered before sending his foot into Grimmjow's torso and kicking him back, he then sent his elbow into the guy attacking Orihime, and then sunk his blade straight through the guy's middle and then yanked his blade back before looking to Orihime smirking a little to her, though he looked back to Grimmjow seeing what he was up to next.
