The unusual interest (Ana)

Miko glanced to Ichigo and smiled a little ''I dont know how it happened either...its was weird..but i do know none of you could hear me call to you guys'' he said then see Orihime summoming her shun shun rikka. Though he couldnt see them materialize he didnt have a high energy to sense them but all he could see was the orangy dome the appeared over him. Miko looked to his shoulder seeing where the wound was and it just disappeared. ''Woahhh!...thats really scary...how do you do that Orihime-chan! its like a god's power or something...'' he grinned. He felt fine after that and thanked Orihime before he looked over at Ishida getting in some trouble. ''Glasses dude is not looking so good...'' he mumbled and then looked to see a flash of Orihime's vibrant orange hair rush by. ''Orihime-chan where are you--'' he began but she was already running to Ishida. He looked straight beside him seeing Ichigo now chasing after her. ''Ichigo...'' he muttered but he was too far gone to hear him. ''Whats going on'' he thought. But he saw the reason why Ichigo had rushed after her because that arrancar was now setting sights on Orihime. Ichigo was faster than Orihime which meant he could easily catch her up and protect her if that arrancar decided to attack her. Miko looked to Ana and smiled a bit ''Yeah im fine now...what do you think that arrancar has planned...i didnt say anything about it up till now but.....i think...i think that i recognise that arrancar like ive been in a fight with him before'' he said.

The arrancar looked ar Rukia with a wide grin ''You seem like more my kind of opponant girl!!! do you think you have me all figured out? my weak spot is my hollow mask...i told you before i have no weak spots!!'' he laughed but that was when he heard Orihime and looked her way ''Foolish human! running into a battlefield like that dont you know thats how people get killed!!'' he said evily at her as he stepped towards her but something had happened even the arrancar wasnt quite sure all he heard was the sound of flash steps and then looked to his arms after a moment the arrancar looked up seeing Ichigo standing there in frotn of Orihime and Ishida. ''Who are you kid?'' he said but suddenly from nowhere sprayed blood out from his arms. The arrancar held tightly onto his new wounds on him and gave an angry yell. ''You!! you did this?'' he asked ''When did you do this!!'' he yelled. The arrancar was not sure as to where Ichigo had appeared from he looked over by Ana and Miko ''Werent you those humans who were injured way over there?'' he said. But the arrancar had no more time to talk because Rukia had sent a blanket of ice his way. The arrancar smirked ''That is no match for me pest!'' he laughed and then moved his arms across to command the black mist of his but when he went to move his arms more blood spalshed to the ground from those wounds. ''Ahhhh! damnit!! i forgot...about those'' he said through clentched teeth. ''You...little brat...you did that on purpose...didnt you i see now...to stop my arms...clever little smartass aint you boy!'' he hissed. ''But im afraid i have other ways to command my mist...watch i shall demonstrate to you right now...i need a volunteer...ah yes...of course pest over there'' he grinned. ''Izuki!! kill her!'' he yelled to his zanpakuto and it activated the black mist again and it swirled round Rukia a similar attack was about to hit rukia like it did Ishida.

[Inoue Orihime]

Orihime didnt care she was just set on helping someone who needed her help ''No Ishida! your hurt i have to help you'' she protested but she heard Ichigo call her she looked over her shoulder to him, damn he was fast, no fair!
''Just let me heal him Kurosaki-Kun'' she said as she looked back in front she just reached Ishida when Ichigo had caught her up. She looked at Ishida checking for any wounds she could see where he had been hurt but he had someplace. ''It doesnt matter ill just heal you completely'' she said and summoned her shun shun rikka once more creating the same orange dome over him that began to heal any injuries he had gained. Orihime panted fast because of all the running she had just done but in her eyes was pure concentration. ''Its slow...its not rejecting as fast'' she thought but she knew it was because she was worn out.

Orihime heard something after that it sounded like someone had been cut, she looked over seeing Ichigo in front of her and Ishida and a heavily injuried arrancar on his arms. Orihime seem to stare in mid thought she had only taken her eyes off Ichigo for a second yet he was quick enough to do such damage. ''Kurosaki-Kun did that...'' she thought before blinking ''...Is it because...because of...'' she continued in thought though her memory retorted back to the earlier fight with Ulquiorra causing her to never finished what she thought up.

Orihime suddenly heard Ichigo say he was putting her theory to the test ''Did it work?...'' she said quietly as she watched carefully. She then remebered Ishida ''Thank you Kurosaki'' she added with a small smile knowing he was covering her and Ishida right now then looked to Ishida. ''Are you doing ok Ishida-Kun?'' she said softly to him though her eyes glanced back at Ana and Miko checking they were there still.
''Kurosaki is covering us we have to get you out of the battlefield so i can heal you properly...you tried your best Ishida so do not worry'' she said and then looked back to Ana ''Ana! can you help me move Ishida?'' she called to her and then retracted her healing flower and then lifted Ishida's arm around her to give him support. She'd leave the arrancar to Rukia and Ichigo to deal with they seemed to know what to do right now but she hoped they'd be extra careful.

[kuchiki rukia *]

Rukia could see Ichigo had responded to her, either that or he just automatically went after her. At least Orihime was safe right now, for now. The arrancar had turned on her and from nowhere the arrancar recived some wounds on his arms. Rukia seemed to watch in surprise but things, ideas were spinning in her head after that. Rukia didnt even care that her attack hadnt been able to stop the arrancar or the fact that Orihime's plan or so she overheard didnt work as such but it sure had given Rukia an idea.

Rukia suddenly grinned ''Speed...of course why didnt i think of that'' she said to herself. ''Ichigo! do that again!'' she called to him. ''And i dont mean cut him up...i mean your speed! your flash steps he cant read them! do it again! now!'' she commanded and knew he wouldnt like that. Rukia had seen just how bad the arrancar was at reading flash steps, ordinary flash steps like hers may well even be good, but it was because of Ichigo's bankai hat gave him that extra speed. But she knew she'd have to give a better explanation ''Just do it, and ill tell you later ok'' she said to him and then see Orihime fixing up Ishida but then asking Ana for some help to get them off the battlefield. Rukia hadnt really put her own usual flash steps to the test maybe it was just the speed of Ichigo's that could but she'd try it out none the less, it would give them an advantage!

Rukia then see he had commanded his zanpakuto verbally meaning he could still use that black mist. She see it heading for her and now was a good time to try out her flash steps. Rukia knew the mist would proably follow her if it could track her movements unlike the arrancar. She flash stepped towards the arrancar getting closer and closer the sound of her flash steps echoing. She appeared behind the arrancar and went to swing her zanpakuto down onto him ''Your eyes cannot follow the speed of a shinigami thats your weakness, you never even tried using any sonido!'' she said but then looked to the side her seeing in fact the arrancars' mist had kept up with her!
Rukia widened her eyes gasping not expecting it to have in the least. It couldnt be keeping up with her she was sure her flash steps could escape them. ''Some no mai Hakuren!!'' she yelled so fast in the hope to block the mist with a block of ice that shot out from the ground and went straight up into the sky it seemed it went on forever. There was a sudden crackle as the mist hit the ice block and eventually shattered it sending large chunks of ice flying towards the ground. ''Watch out everyone!'' she warned them all as the ice shards were slamming into the ground making a low rumble.

Ishida heard Orihime and instantly didnt like what he heard but he knew no matter how many tiem anyone told her not to he knew she would insist. Orihime was like that so very thoughtful of others and hated to let anyone down. He did really admired Orihime she had restored his faith in thinking that no matter how many nasty mean people you met like Ulquiorra or Aizen there were somehere out there genuine nice people you just had to know where to find them. He just looked at her as she told him he did his best ''Thank you, Inoue-San your very kind'' she said as he see her begin her healing process.

He did however hear Orihime tell Ichigo something and Ishida frowned ''You didnt do a very good job of stopping her Kurosaki! you caught her up yet you did nothing to physically stop her'' he said taking a dig but he smirked knowing it was because he wasnt a very hands on kind of guy. besides Ishida had said it to spark up an argument just to see his reaction and so that they didnt go all best friends on one another!

But just as he had barely finished his torments something strange had gone on with that arrancar where did all that blood come from, it wasnt him was it he wondered as he looked down seeing his bleeding under control. His eyes looked to Ichigo seeing his last flash step ''When did he...'' he began but he noticed Orihime's expression she looked as though she was deep in thought as she looked at Ichigo. ''It would be wrong of me to think she were ok...something has come to her attention something that i haven't even picked up on, just what have you spotted Inoue-San?'' he thought in his mind. ''Inoue-San...are you ok?'' he said calmly towards her but realised it had re-caught her attention as if she had forgotten all about him. Ishida smiled a little and heard her beckon Ana to assit her he knew he could move so he wouldnt disagree he was in the care of Inoue and Ana now.

However it was now Rukia that had cuaght ont something big, something that will help to take down this brute of an arrancar. One word 'Speed' he heard it loud and clear.

[Kurosaki Ichigo]

Ichigo smirked at the arrancar reaction ''Knew it, your all talk'' he said and then looked over by Rukia seeing she had held off her attack. Though he heard Orihime ask if her ideas worked. ''Looks that way'' he said seeing the arrancar had tried to use his arms and direct that mist again but had forgotten all about his injuries. ''You got a short memeory then'' he sighed and then heard Ishida talk about why he didn phsiacally stop Inoue. Ichigo looked over his shoulder to him and looked stunned by what he just said. ''Watch your friggin mouth quincy!'' he snapped at him. He just couldnt back down from an argument. But he gave a sigh ''Stay back you said to me didnt you...well now its my turn to say the same to you dumbass...just get better again so you can come back up here and help me and Rukia got it!'' he said as he looked back in front of him at the arrancar.

Ichigo heard Orihime thank him for covering them for that breif moment and he would of responded but the arrancar had from nowhere verbally commanded his zanpakuto, he didnt need his arms at all. Ichigo looked to Rukia seeing how she would get out of this and she was suddenly talking about speed. ''Huh?'' he muttered all confused ''What!?'' he called to her and then noticed that the arrancar hadnt in fact read his flash steps he wondered what she was going on about but he gave a sigh. ''Alright, im not gonna ask about it then'' he said and watched her as she flash stepped her way over to the arrancar and ended up having to block the mist with another one of her ice attacks. Ichigo glared a little towards the arrancar ''Bastard'' he said before he flash stepped himself closer and appeared behind the arrancar also making a strike at him.

[Shoshi Ana]

[/b] she looked to him “I’m serious… I’ll be right back” she said and then went to help Orihime and Ishida.

“You know Ishida I hate to sound like a bitch and all… but why the hell didn’t you go for the mask, I mean smash the mask kill the arrancar or something along those lines” she said frowning a little helping Orihime and Ishida but even then she heard Rukia yelling at them all to watch out. She looked over her shoulder to see ice chunks flying all over the place and looked back to Miko… it seemed the ice just kept falling and falling and all over the place even near him. “Miko!” she called out “Cover yourself” she told him her eyes fixed on him like an owl spotting a mouse. If he was about to get by or anything Ana was ready to run to his side and form a shield… how good that shield would be was another story but still she’d do what she had to help protect her friends from harm.

Miko looked over by Orihime and Ishida seeing she was trying to heal him but it was a bit of a risk doing so where they were. He looked to Ana as she told him not to move becaue she had to leave him so she could help Orihime move Ishida. ''Ok..i'll be fine here ill wait here'' he said and watched her go.
Miko then looekd at Ichigo and Rukia and smiled, they made good teamwork but actually getting them to work togtehr without arguing was a task in itself. ''Come on guys!!'' Miko yelled at them to keep their focus.

The arrancar grinned at Ichigo ''strange kid aint ya...you've got an impressive spiritual energy ill give you that'' he smirked. ''But somehow i dont think a boy is going to be much trouble for me to dispose of...that was a lucky hit im afraid'' he said and then see Rukia had blocked hus mist with a huge block of ice. The arrancar looked up seeing it just went on and on. ''Daaamn...is that your zanpakuto's power? maybe you should bring out your zanpakuto spirit...i wonder who your zanpakuto spirit is...what is its name shinigami?'' he said then looked to Ichigo. ''I wonder who is yours too...shall i guess their names?'' he grinned but suddenly he had been cut by something behind. The arrancar was taken a back and he slowly looked over his shoulder having a feeling that it would be that orange haired shinigami.
And it was. ''You!'' he hissed as his wounds dripped with blood. ''Dammit!'' he growled and then looked to Rukia as she warned her friends about the now rocketing shards of ice. The arrancar had some ice land straight ontop of him sending him to his knees. Some more piled ontop of him and he was weighed down. He lay still for now but he would find the strength in him to stand.

Meanwhile, something unexpected was happening a breeze swooped through the desert lightly brushing the sands along. An almost chilling feeling in the air like something bad was to happen. But a deathly silence was all that was heard, the silence was almost deafening. Until something cracked like bones it sounded grotesque, frightening and very eerie as if it wasnt happening but sure enough it was. Something then shattered like the sound of glass shattering into tiny pieces it looked as though glass were actually being swept into the air the pieces seemed to glow lightly not much for all these small little pieces were part of one whole object, an eye perhaps?

Then from nowhere smethig black and white some kind of creature it was unknown because it was too fast to even see like the speed of light it zoomed through the battlfield and was aiming for a specific someone, revenge was the motive. Whatever it was it flew into Rukia and severed her middle in an instant and continued on towards Ichigo.

[Inoue Orihime]

(ohhhh no! not him!)

Orihime stopped her struggles and smiled at Ishida ''Its alright...'' she said and then heard what Ishida had said to Ichigo. Orihime bit her bottom lip to stop her from gasping. ''Ishida-Kun!'' she complained but see Ana coming over to help her ''Thank you Ana-San'' she said and then together they supported Ishida until they reached over by Miko. Orihime set Ishida down. ''Okay where are your injuries exsactly so i can concentrate on that area?'' she asked and then couldnt help but let her eyes drift over to the fight with Ichigo and Rukia. Orihime's mind retorted back to Ichigo's earlier fight. But she looked to the arrancar seeing all these ice shards suddenly hitting him and holding him down. ''Great one Kuchiki-San!'' she smiled but her smiled was wiped from her face when that eerie breeze and strange noises echoes. ''W-whats...that?'' she said quiestly as she looked in the direction of the noise. Orihime hadnt really seen or spotted whatever it was that came zooming out.

Rukia just smirked at Ichigo's reaction, it was typical of him to want al the little details, but hse knew it wouldnt take him long to get back into the fight. Rukia frowned at the arrancar as he started talking about her zanpakuto spirit. ''There is no need for you to ask about my zanpakuto...im sure Sode no Shirayuki is bored with you already...as is Zangetsu'' she said looked to Ichigo with a smirk. She knew her trusty zanpakuto was behind her with every fight thatd what a shinigaim's zanpakuto did because it was a piece of their soul.

Rukia then caught a glimpse of Ichigo's flash steps and the next the arrancar was wounded again. Ichigo could land hundreds of hits like that if he kept using his flash steps. He didnt use them enough or to his advantage. She tell him later make sure he did use them lots. Rukia watched as the arrancar was hit by a piece of ice and then more that weighed him and probably injured him too. ''Im a pest am i? you couldnt be defeated until now'' she said and then raised her zanpakuto. ''Some no mai!'' she commanded and srng a blacket of ice at the arrancar and probably to Ichigo too but it did incase the arrancarin thick ice.
Rukia then looked to Ichigo ''Your flash step speed is miles better...your getting good at them use them more often will you'' she said to him and then looekd to Ana and Orihime seeing they had kept everyone safe. ''Great job!'' she said to them and was about to walk towards them but she sensed something, something not of a good presence. It couldnt be? him!
If it were then only common sense told her he'd be after one thing and one person. ''ICHIGO!!'' she screamed at him to alarm him, warn him even.

Ishida looked to Ana seeing she was approaching she help move him ''Thank Ana-San'' he said to her and then tried to support himself as much as he could without doing any damage or falling. He made it to Miko and smiled to him ''Your al ok now Miko?'' he asked and then turned to the battle seeing those shards had weighed down the arrancar and gave Rukia the chance to strike as she coated him in thick ice. ''She did it'' he said then see Rukia was going to come towards them but she stopped.

Ishida looked around ''What is it?'' he said and then heard Rukia yell at Ichigo before something moved so fast he didnt even see it.
